Ok, I just saw your response to some other person's comment. You have come to the conclusion that life equals suffering. I wouldn't deny understanding such conclusion. Therefore, I will leave it as "your own opinion"

It still seems to me that you did not research China's case. The skewered sex-ratio was due to the abortions. Most people felt that if they could have only one child, they would rather have a boy. So women who conceived and the scan revealed it was a girl, they aborted the pregnancy. This led to the male outnumbering the females by a margin.
