Google playstore is inarguably the largest store for Android games and applications since it's owned by the owner of the OS it's designed to serve and comes pre-installed on most Android devices. But, it's another case entirely for those on the Canadian BB10 platform which also supports the installation of Android applications by manually transferring the Android Application Package (APK) file to it and going through a short installation process after which the app can be accessible from it's list of installed applications. Of course, BB10 also has it's own store, BlackBerry World where you can download apps. But, the apps you can download from here is very limited when compared to that of the Google Playstore. If you want to try out a variety number of Android applications on your BB10 device, here's what you need to do to get Playstore installed; Requirements A Google Account Google Account Manager | Download Link Google Play ID | Download Link Google Playstore App | Download Link After downloading all the three apps on your device, you can now follow the easy steps outlined below; Install and run Google Account Manager and fill in your Google account details. When completed, the app will minimize. Now install and Run Google Play ID on your device. Use Google Play ID to register your device and close when successfully done. Finally, Install the Google Playstore App on your device. Once you're done, you'll now be able to install apps directly on your device, even games with obb files will be installed easily and correctly without having to move the files manually. You will also be receiving app updates as at when due in the BlackBerry hub without leaving behind the fact that paid apps are still paid and can be purchased with your preferred billing method. The ball is in your court now, but hey! Be aware that not all Apps downloaded from Playstore will work effectively with your device. Some may crash while others might just perform excellently as if it were being run on an Android device. Tecno Phantom 5 and Orbra Eve 2 are two giant smartphones with almost similar specs. Both smartphone features almost similar components because of the fact that they built with MediaTek's MTK6753 chipset. Talking about the MediaTek's 6753 chipset, it's a 64Bit octa-core unit that features integrated WorldMode 4G LTE and CDMA2000® 3G for global high-speed mobile network compatibility. The chipset also supports 1080p Full HD displays, along with Full HD video recording and playback. So any smartphone that is built on such chipset should feature same functionality. In this article, I would briefly detail you guys on the compared specs between the Tecno Phantom 5 and Orbra Eve 2 smartphones. Design and Platform Both smartphone features a 5.5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and 16M colors. The Orbra Eve 2 comes with corning Gorilla Glass 2 for screen protection as the Phantom 5 comes with Glass 3. The Orbra Eve 2 seems to have more dimension (155.2 x 76.6 x 9.2 mm) compared to the Tecno Phantom 5 smartphone (151 x 75.8 x 6.8 mm). Camera Specs The Tecno Phantom 5 is integrated with about 13MP rear camera unit just as the Orbra Eve 2, and it comes with an 8MP front shooter which results to clear selfie images and pretty cool for video calls, but the Orbra Eve 2 comes with a 5MP front snapper, though its great, but not as great as that of the Tecno Phantom 5. However, their camera features similar functionality like, phase detection, auto focus, LED flash and more... Processor, Memory and Battery Just as I tipped in previously, both smartphone is powered by MediaTek's MTK6753 chipset with 64bit Octa-core processor. The processor clock speed of the Tecno Phantom 5 is about 1.5GHz while that of Orbra Eve 2 is about 2.0GHz, a difference of 0.5GHz, which can probably get to enhance the smartphone with more processing speed level. Both smartphone is also coupled with a 3GB RAM component and 16GB internal storage for the Orbra Eve 2 while the Tecno phantom 5 comes with a 32GB built-in memory. The Orbra Eve 2 comes with a long lasting battery, that is, a 4165 mAh battery capacity, while that of Tecno's Phantom 5 is about 3000 mAh battery capacity. Pricing The pricing of Orbra Eve 2 is tagged at #58,500, while that of Tecno Phantom 5 goes for #69,900, which approximates #70,000. Final Verdict Which is better? Which is Affordable? Which is recommended? These might be the questions you seek answers for, but I can only tell that you can get your result from the compared specs above. Every smartphone users should know their reasons for smartphone purchase, nobody jumps to purchase a smartphone for no reason. So if you're the gaming or multitasking type, I would definitely recommend the Orbar Eve 2 for you. But why? This is because it has more CPU performance alongside with a better battery capacity. While the Tecno phantom 5 is highly recommended for social media lovers, you know what I mean. Just take a glance at their compared camera specs above, and you'll see my reasons. Conclusively, when you talk about pricing, that's where the discussion resides. Because pricing in regards to their specs is important. In other words, I can recommend the Orbra Eve 2, due to it's more affordable compared to the Tecno Phantom 5.
