Evening my people, please can one book for flight, dependent visa received but waiting for main applicants Visa. Is it advisable to book for flight? Thanks.

A big Yes..... dependent cannot have a Yes without a main applicant Yes as their visa is a 100 percent dependent on the main applicant

Morning good people, if dependents have been granted visa, is it a confirmation that the primary applicant have also been granted even when not yet released.

My sister got decision for her 2 dependants on the 18th .passport was picked up with visa 21st.still waiting on hers and it’s been almost a week Now .Another of her friend going to same school her husband picked up since 11th of this month she’s still waiting for hers .so I feel it all depends on caseworker.you just have to wait

Nobody can tell you this as each applicant time frame really differs on how fast or slow the application is processed so there no standard turnaround

The only thing is to either wait or go to the collection site to see if it is there

If your dependants have their visas, yours is almost definitely ready as well.
Probably got put to one side amid all the busyness.
Give them a couple of days then do a paid email if it still hasn't shown up.

Am having similar issue though main applicants collected with two dependants instead. One dependent left any body has idea how long or how many days it will take for the other dependants to arrive. Plss note 3 dependents did biometric same day.

Tracker showed Application transferred to VAC. please how long after this before pick up. However, Decision mail for Primary Applicant not yet dropped. Hope all is well.

Hello, please did your descision mail came together same time with your dependants own. Cos there is one for September 7th here too, Descision mail just dropped this morning around 7.am but the main applicants own not dropped yet.please kindly confirm. Congrats and God bless.

@jidluk, I would suggest your wife should apply for a degree that is higher than her already completed degree. Going for an ordinary diploma at this stage in her career doesn't show a logical progression and for the fact the visa officer will not be satisfied that she's a bona-fide Applicant who will study and depart and also using study permit as a means to facilitate entry into Canada rather than educational Advancement. The advice given by @Mandyknows is a guided one.

Yes, highest qualification is Bsc Accounting...presently working as an assistant accountant.

What's your wife's highest educational qualification as this course is a post secondary diploma? Is she a graduate? Your answer will help the gurus in advising you on next steps.

Can you kindly confirm what type of Admission (post secondary diploma, Bsc, PGD, Msc, or PhD) your wife was given in this school (Assiniboine community college), as I haven't heard nor seen anyone over my three years of existence on this thread going to this school. The next step is to gather relevant documents like bank statements, degrees certificates, employment documents and file for her study permit application.

Weldone good people, please my wife just got acceptance letter yesterday after being on waitlist for a 2 years Business Admin course @ Assiniboine community college. Resumption is January 2020. What steps should she take next. And please any one been to the school or applied there too could be of help. Thanks.
