Your pcr should not be done more than 120 hrs (5 days) as at the time you’ll be landing in Ercan, Cyprus , so just check your itinerary and calculate what day to do the test. I’ll advise do it a day before travelling in case the test can be ready under 24 hours else just do the test 2 days before travelling. The result can be mailed to you and you print it out in Abuja. My students have done theirs recently and in quarantine in Cyprus .

Uskudar is in Istanbul (Asian side). You don’t use ok to board, you need to apply for visa at the Turkish embassy. No oktb for turkey just Cyprus.

Arrived North Cyprus from Nigeria on Monday, we are currently on Quarantine at Salamis Bay Conti Hotel in Gazimagusa and it's absolutely free. Covid-19 Test Report is highly important at the Airport, they check again before boarding to Ercan and check again on Arrival at Ercan Airport before proceeding to Passport Control. When you are stamped in, you pick up your luggage and get in a bus already provided to head to the Quarantine location.

I am also in the hotel as well but arrived from turkey so just few more days to go.

First, Money to hold while coming is a general question and it has been explained in past post, money to hold varies and depending on your life style but say for lefkosa where you might be staying , for house rent let’s say 117 pounds multiply 6 rents 2 deposit and 1 commission that’s 117 pounds x 9 for your next 6 months stay, monthly bills like electricity and water usage will varies as well while internet might be fixed depending on package you are and number of persons in the house , hopefully 50$ should cover the bill if you guys are moderate and take note winter will be around soon and more electric consumption so the price might go up , try carry some winter cloth from Nigeria though and for feeding again it’s all still varies from life style and eating habit. In all I think 200$ should do and you can make your adjustments while you settle in . CIU offers nursing but you said you got adminsion already

You can use IGI or just check for any insurance company on google depending on your location, you will get it same day.

Don’t mind these people, I studied in north Cyprus and presently in Istanbul. People just comment for comment sake. Turkey is far more advance than Nigeria , I guess that guy have not been to turkey before .

If you are taking a room in a 3 bedroom apartment, 600 tl might cover but take note most of their apartment in Turkey are empty like Nigeria unlike Cyprus apartment that are furnished . Standard of living is fair , I’ve lived in Ankara and then Istanbul through this year so the cities are almost the same.

@wip7 already replied someone up there, it doesn’t have to be 2 months because the visa duration is not fixed. Oktb is alternative to visa. You can go for either of the two.
