You can't compare the two groups really. Argentina the highest rated team in your group is not that good. Argentina is on the same level as Portugal. They are both one man team with horrible defense.

The difference between the nigerian match against USA is Nigeria didn't play that well. They were down by two and USA could have scored more. You only manage a penalty after most US starters went to the bench.

If you played like you played against Argentina, you wouldn't hear any one talk down on the super eagles.

Well we don't know the whole story but players are defending muntari and Boateng. Like I said Ghana has no one to blame but itself. We have to learn from our mistakes at the World Cup, which is a shame because I didn't expect this from this group.

Like I said Ghana made his bed and we are now sleeping in it. The game of soccer is cruel. We didn't have our house in order and we got burned by it. Lessons learned.

I have to say safari is a die hard eagles fan win or loose. She also attacks other Nigerians that speak ill of the super eagles. The only thing I dislike about her is her hatred for all african teams. I can understand her not liking Ghana because of tension on nairaland or Cameroon nigeria's rival in soccer but she hates all african teams. Which is really a shame. I root for all african teams except Nigeria because of bragging rights.

I am not crying like I told Naija noni. Ghana played well, I wished Ghana was in the second round but they are not. I am however happy for my birth country and Germany, because I believe they are the best team.

We will be there in 2018 and we will do much better. We still have lots of young guys coming up.

There are times I have bashed Nigeria for poor play like when they played a friendly for the United States, however I have never promoted African bashing of other Africans. She is Anti-African simple as that. One must ask who instigated the unnecessary hostility between Ghanaians and Nigerians on this forum. Be honest with yourself and ask that question.

I don't mind a lil teasing because if the shoe was on the other hand I will do the same. It was expected for Nigerians to tease Ghanaians and they have every right to do so.

The problem I have is some of these folks went on to call Ghanaians black dwarf and disgrace to Africa, which is far from the truth. Ghana have a good performance even though we didn't qualify. This is what caused me to bring up boko haram and other stuff. In my books that is more of a disgrace because countries at war stop fighting during a World Cup game.

Why you would be happy about such a thing is a mystery in something else. If you were truly African you would have wanted Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria and Cameroon to all proceed to the next round. Instead, we have South America and North America performing better than Africa.

I can understand her hating Ghana and rooting against Ghana because of the rivalry we have on nairaland but what did Ivory Coast Cameroon and Algeria do to her. I rooted for all these teams except Nigeria but after some Nigerians showed Ghana support I also return the favor by rooting for them against Bosnia but as soon as nairaland returned, these began to insult Ghana. Fulaman198: Yah the first own goal was a disaster, then Dauda's goalkeeping with him batting the ball downward towards Cristiano Ronaldo was another huge error. Ghana is a great team, they played well but just had bad luck. I still say they are a strong team and will learn from their errors. I was most disappointed with Jordan Ayew, I think he could have done better.

Horrible defending and I never like the dauda fella. He is not a World Cup goalie. Ghana seriously needs to go back to the drawing board and find a goalie real quick and strikers.
