Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Have you heard the voice of your conscience saying things like, “You deserve hell for the sins you committed against your wife three years ago” or “Why are you surprised that your child is not talking to you? You were never around when he needed you”? You know, there are people who feel depressed all the time because of a sense of guilt, and they “pay” for their sins in terms of illnesses. In fact, doctors are discovering that many psychosomatic sicknesses are caused by guilt and condemnation because the conscience is saying, “You have done wrong. You must be punished. How can your sin not be punished?” That is why you must have an answer that will satisfy your conscience. When your conscience says, “You have sinned. You must be punished for this sin or else God is not a just God,” you say, “Yes, I have sinned. But this sin and every other sin that I have committed were punished to the maximum in the body of Jesus Christ! So there remains no more punishment for me today, for how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse my conscience!” My friend, the only way to bring peace to your conscience is to look to the cross. The cross of Jesus is the only answer that will satisfy your conscience. So the next time your conscience condemns you because of sin, don’t try to silence it with your good works. Look to the cross and say, “Father, thank You for Jesus and the cross. Jesus was totally condemned on my behalf for this sin, so there is now absolutely no condemnation left for me.” Then, your conscience will look at the cross and say, “Ahhhh...peace.” My friend, Jesus’ finished work at the cross truly sets you free! Thought For The Day The cross of Jesus is the only answer that will satisfy your conscience. www.josephprince.org/daily-grace/grace-inspirations/single/the-answer-for-a-guilty-conscience/ |
Marchman:lol, he doesn't my bro. Tithing is not a must, you wont lose your Salvation or anything if u don't pay Tithe. If you like you pay. I pay tithe, not because i am practicing the law, but because i love giving so that the work of God can prosper. You are not under duress to pay Tithe, it is optional. But anything that will make the Gospel of Jesus CHRIST prosper, i am up for it.. |
Pastor Joseph Prince is the Senior Pastor of New Creation Church in Singapore..... I came to know about him last year and i started listening to his messages, and i must say my life changed for the BEST!!! God used this man to give me a Fresh revelation of Jesus CHRIST!!! I don't have a mentor but i must say Pastor JOSEPH PRINCE is now my mentor. I listen to his Video teachings on YouTube everyday and i have learnt soooo much from him!!! Praise be to Jesus, my personal Lord & Saviour, The King Of Kings!!! And the Lord of Lords!!!!! How The Grace Revolution Began “If you don’t preach pure, unadulterated grace, people’s lives will never be gloriously blessed and gloriously transformed.” This one statement that God made to Joseph Prince in 1997 completely transformed the way Joseph preached and taught the gospel. And thus began the Grace Revolution. Joseph had been holidaying with his wife Wendy in the Swiss Alps and there, amid the majestic landscape, God told him that he had not been preaching grace, and gave him the mandate to preach grace—pure and unadulterated. This meant preaching about God’s grace without attempting to balance, or mix, it with the law. Desiring to see his congregation liberated, empowered and blessed by the Lord, Joseph fully embraced the mandate from God and has not looked back since. Unveiling Jesus And His Finished Work Since then, God has more than validated His word, not just in the explosive growth of Joseph’s local congregation in Singapore, but also wherever the gospel of grace has been preached. The church Joseph pastors numbered some 2,000 members in 1997, and this has grown to more than 31,000 members today. To date, Joseph has spoken in Israel, Norway, Holland, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, and Asia, impacting not only believers, but also church leaders with practical and revelatory preaching that unveils the person and grace of Jesus Christ. Broadcasting The Gospel Of Grace Around The World Joseph has also seen doors open supernaturally for his broadcast program, which currently reaches millions of homes across North America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Israel on both secular and Christian networks. And every week, testimonies pour in telling of hearts and minds liberated, bodies healed and made whole, lives impacted and transformed, marriages rescued and restored, and addictions and bondages destroyed. The Lord has brought about these amazing breakthroughs just by people hearing the unadulterated gospel of grace preached. This is the truth that has changed countless lives—it is no longer about what we need to do or what we have done to earn God’s blessings, but all about what Jesus has done for us! Impacting The World One Child At A Time Besides preaching and sending the gospel of grace out to the world, Joseph also considers it a calling and an urgent priority to help less fortunate children, especially in Asia, rise above the darkness and horrors of poverty. This is done by partnering with missions organizations committed to giving these children hope and a chance at a better future, and to making the grace and love of Jesus real in their lives. 1 Corinthians 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. In the Old Testament, whenever the children of Israel sacrificed a lamb for a burnt offering as they faced a strong enemy, victory was theirs. For example, in 1 Samuel 7:7–11, when the Philistines were coming against them, the prophet Samuel offered a lamb as a burnt offering. As it was being offered, the Lord came like a loud thunder on the Philistine army, confusing them. This led to victory for the Israelites. Every time something bad happened to the children of Israel, by offering a lamb sacrifice, they were proclaiming the Lord’s death, and the battle would turn in their favor. Today, when we are faced with an enemy, how do we offer our “burnt offering”? How do we proclaim the Lord’s death and come out victorious? Do we ask Jesus to come down to where we are at and die on the cross all over again? Of course not. Jesus died once for all our sins—past, present and future. (Hebrews 10:12) His work is perfectly perfect and completely complete, so He doesn’t have to die for us again. Today, we proclaim His death simply by partaking of the Lord’s Supper. Every time you partake of the bread and wine, you declare to the principalities and powers of darkness that the Lord’s death avails for you. Every time you partake, you are saying that because Jesus has been judged and punished in your place, you cannot be judged and punished. Because Jesus died young in your place, you will live long. And because He conquered death and stripped the devil of his powers, you will not be defeated. The victory is already yours! That is why the psalmist David said, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…” (Psalm 23:5) The Lord’s table is prepared for you in the presence of your enemies because when you partake of the bread and wine, you will see your enemies tremble and scatter! Why? Because when you proclaim the Lord’s death through the Holy Communion, you are reminding the devil and his cohorts of their humiliating defeat at Calvary’s cross! (Colossians 2:15) Thought For The Day Every time you partake of the bread and wine, you declare to the powers of darkness that the Lord’s death avails for you and that the victory is already yours! http://www.josephprince.org/daily-grace/grace-inspirations/single/proclaim-the-lords-death/ |

1 John 2:1–2 ...if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins... Today, Jews still observe Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. As the name suggests, it is a day set aside to make atonement for one’s sins. But for Christians, this beautiful feast points to Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. Because of His sacrifice, all our sins have already been perfectly atoned for. That is why, should we sin, we know that “we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous”. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins. Now, it does not say that if anyone repents, we have an Advocate with the Father. It says that if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father. The moment a child of God sins, straightaway, his Advocate, Jesus Christ, goes into action to pray for and protect him. What about repentance then? The word “repentance” is metanoia in the Greek, which means to change one’s mind. For example, you used to believe that Jesus was just a good man. Then one day, you repented and believed that He is the Son of the living God, who died for your sins and rose again on the third day, and you gladly took Him as your Savior. Bible repentance is not this idea of hitting or punishing yourself to atone for your sins. Don’t turn it into a human work, like the man who went to a priest to confess his sins. When they were done, the priest asked the man, “By the way, what do you do for a living?” The man replied, “I’m a contortionist,” and proceeded to give a demonstration. Another man came along wanting to confess his sins. When he saw the contortionist all twisted up on the ground, he said, “If this is repentance, forget it!” and ran off! My friend, there is no need to climb the Himalayas or whip your back bloody to atone for your sins. No amount of self-punishment or crying can atone for them. Your sins have already been punished fully in the body of Jesus. Only His finished work satisfies God. So change your mind and simply believe that Jesus alone is the propitiation for your sins! Thought For The Day No amount of self-punishment can atone for your sins. Justrest in the truth that Jesus alone is the propitiation for your sins! http://www.josephprince.org/daily-grace/grace-inspirations/single/only-christs-atonement-satisfies-god/ |

What Is The Holy Communion? The Holy Communion, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people. Two items are used in the Holy Communion—the bread which represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before and during His crucifixion, and the cup which represents His shed blood. When Jesus walked on earth, He was vibrant, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick. But before Jesus went to the cross, He was badly scourged by the Roman soldiers, and His body was torn as He hung on the cross. At the cross, God also took all our sicknesses and diseases and put them on Jesus’ originally perfect and healthy body, so that we can walk in divine health. That is why the Bible says by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). In Luke 22:20, Jesus tells us that the cup is the “new covenant in My blood”, and the apostle Paul tells us that the blood of Jesus brings forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14, Ephesians 1:7). Why Do Believers Partake Of The Holy Communion? Besides being born again in Christ, a healthy body and mind are the greatest blessings anyone can have. And the Holy Communion is God’s ordained channel of healing and wholeness. On the night that He was betrayed, Jesus ate His last supper with His disciples. And knowing what He would accomplish through His sacrifice, He instituted the Holy Communion (Luke 22:19–20, 1 Corinthians 11:24–25). His loving instruction is that we are to remember Him as we partake of the Holy Communion. Jesus wanted us conscious of how His body was broken for our wholeness, and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. And whenever we partake in this consciousness, we “proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26). Today, when we partake of the bread, we are declaring that Jesus’ health and divine life flows in our mortal bodies. And when we partake of the cup, we are declaring that we are forgiven and have been made righteous. Jesus’ blood gives us right standing before God, and we can go boldly into God’s presence (Hebrews 4:16). When we pray, we can be sure that God hears us! How Do I Partake Of The Holy Communion? Before you partake, remember that the Holy Communion is not a ritual to be observed, but a blessing to be received. Because it is not a ritual, there is no prescribed bread or special drink required. In the Last Supper, Jesus used whatever He had at the table—bread commonly eaten at supper, and whatever they were drinking. To partake, first, hold the bread in your hand and say: Thank You, Father, for the gift of Your Son. By the stripes that fell on His back, my body is healed from the crown of my head to the very soles of my feet. Every cell, every organ, every function of my body is healed, restored, and renewed. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I receive. [Eat the bread.] Next, take the cup in your hand and say: Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious blood. Your sin-free, disease-free, poverty-free life is in Your blood. And Your shed blood has removed every sin from my life. Through Your blood, I am forgiven of all my sins—past, present and future—and made completely righteous. Today, I celebrate and partake of the inheritance of the righteous, which is preservation, healing, wholeness and provision. Thank You Lord Jesus, for loving me. Amen. [Drink the wine.] How Can I Find Out More About The Holy Communion? To find out more about what Joseph Prince has taught on the Holy Communion, you may wish to check the resources available on our ministry's online store. Our ministry has also received praise reports from believers who have partaken of the Holy Communion and seen healing and protection from the Lord manifest. You can find these in the Praise Report page on our ministry website. We pray that as you read them, faith will fill your heart and cause you to look to Jesus for whatever you need while you partake of the Holy Communion. http://www.josephprince.org/daily-grace/articles/single/the-power-of-the-holy-communion/ |

Hebrews 8:10 …I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts… What laws was God referring to when He said, “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts”? He was certainly not referring to the Ten Commandments, known as the laws of the old covenant, since He said that He found fault with that covenant and declared it obsolete. (Hebrews 8:7–9, 13) The laws that God puts in our minds and writes on our hearts refer to the royal law of love (Matthew 22:37–40), the perfect law of liberty (James 1:25) and the law of faith. (Romans 3:27) These are the laws of the new covenant. You live according to the laws of the new covenant when you are conscious of how much God loves you. And the more you are conscious of His love for you, the more your heart is filled with love. When that happens, you will love God and the people around you supernaturally and effortlessly. That is God writing on your heart the royal law of love—that we love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19) Secondly, when you know that you are perfectly accepted by God because of Jesus’ sacrifice, you can have the courage and liberty as a child of God to come boldly into the presence of your heavenly Father. And in His presence, He is able to write on your heart new desires. You will find yourself wanting to do the right thing at the right time. You will live life victoriously from the inside out. This is the perfect law of liberty operating in your life. Thirdly, when you sense what God is writing on your heart and putting in your mind, and as your faith is activated causing you to trust Him and His love for you, He calls it obeying the law of faith. When that happens, whatever you believe, you receive! My friend, God has made it easy—and you will find that it is exciting—to live life under the new covenant! Thought For The Day You live according to the laws of the new covenant when you are conscious of how much God loves you. http://www.josephprince.org/daily-grace/grace-inspirations/single/life-under-the-new-covenant/ |

Fast rising Nollywood actor, Mike Godson, has always described his rumoured affair with actress, Ini Edo, as nothing beyond an illusion. But when the 7 Books of Moses Star was approached for an interview, he was eager to state all that transpired between him and the divorcee actress. Since making his Nollywood debut in 2010, Mike Godson has achieved a measure of visibility. He is mostly known for his lover boy roles in movies. In a no-holds bared interview, the light complexioned, well-built actor, who hails from Imo State but was born and bred in Kano, opened up on his love life, fear for women and why he can’t marry Ini Edo. Excerpts: How long have you been acting? This is my fourth year in Nollywood. It wasn’t easy. I started from the bottom now, I am here. How the whole journey begin? I was born in the North, Kano State, to be precise. I attended to University of Jos, where I studied Theater and Communication Arts. Now it is called Theatre and Film Studies. When I came to Lagos, I met Kingsley Ukaegbu, because I was hoping on him to be getting acting jobs since he is a producer. Unfortunately, he stopped directing, but he introduced me to Ernest Obi. Then, Ernest was the AGN President at that time, so he didn’t really have time to help. But he introduced me to a few people. Then one day, Onyi Okechukwu, a director of Photography, asked me what I really came to do in Lagos. He introduced me to some working producers after I followed him to Enugu. Luckily for me, Van Vicker, was supposed to be on the set of the movie that he was working on. In the same film, Van was supposed to have a little brother. So when they saw me, they said I should play the role of junior Van Vicker. Although they had paid someone else to play the role, but I got it. That was how my main acting journey begin. How was it like the first time you acted in front of the camera? I have always been an actor from my school days; so it wasn’t new to me at all. I have the talents inborne. My first professional movie, I played a sub-lead role. I was Van Vicker junior. Were you paid for that role, since someone else had already been contacted? I wasn’t paid so well though, because at that point, they felt they were doing me a favour. I didn’t mind, I had a target. So I didn’t look at money. It was good at that I got the role. After all, I wasn’t broke, so money wasn’t my problem. You were just out of school, and you say you weren’t broke. What’s the secret? I had my siblings abroad. They were taking good care of me. So, I wouldn’t say I came into the industry broke. Can you share a little about your background? I come from a very normal and comfortable family. I was born in the North, but I am from Mbaise, in Imo State. My parents had all of us in the North. I am the fifth child out of seven children. Did growing up in the North affect you negatively? Yes, it did! It took the better part of me. Growing up in the North made me do a lot of things late. It was when I got to Lagos that I started seeing people go to club, smoke, drink and all that. Then if I hear that people were going to clubs, I would conclude that they were going to hellfire. Lagos changed my perception about life. Once in a while, I go to club and socialize. I don’t smoke, but I hang out with friends once in a while, where I drink a little. Which of your movies, brought you to limelight? 7 Books of Moses did. It was produced by Richmond Eze, shot three years ago. After that movie, my life changed. I played the role of Kazzeem, who could turn into a beast. Was the character challenging? Of course, it was. I hadn’t played such a role before in my life. I have never seen a script that was very challenging. After the movie, I haven’t rested. Do you have a set of actors you prefer working with? I feel comfortable working with everyone. I try to learn from all the people I work with, because nobody is perfect. As Ramsey Nouah’s look alike, do you think you are fit to step into his big shoes? Ramsey is my mentor. I grew up watching him. And my mother used to tell me back then that if I work very hard that I could be like Ramsey. I actually feel honoured to be seen as his look alike. So we could say your mum prayed and wished you to be Ramsey Noauh? When I was growing up, I was very stubborn. There was something special about me that my mum couldn’t understand and she was always worried about me. So, when I found myself in the industry doing well, I presumed my mum saw the future. Aside Ramsey Noauh, I like Majid Michael a lot too. He is a great actor and a good teacher. I worked with him recently. He carries every upcoming actor along. What’s your mum’s advice that you won’t forget in a hurry? ‘Be careful of women.’ She would always want her son to be good and in safe hands. She doesn’t want me to fall into wrong hands. Was it rough for you as a new actor? It all boils down to hard work. If you work hard, things would be less difficult. When I started, it wasn’t easy. I had to start from the scratch, remain humble to get to the top. Some people envy me because they believe I just got in and suddenly becomes famous. I owe it all to the grace of God. People see you as a tough and arrogant one, are you? No, I am not. But people always see me from afar and jump to that conclusion. Humility comes from the inside. You don’t judge a book by its cover. I think people should learn to go close to someone before judging. I am not proud or arrogant but I am very private person. If you are caught in the middle of nowhere, what are the three things you can’t stay without? My phone, food and water and I am good to go. I’m a private person, I don’t really like going out. What has stardom robbed you? My freedom. People would always want to see you cheerful and all smiles because you are an actor. The better part of me has been taken away by my acting career. How do you deal with female fans? A lot of people see me as a ladies man, but I don’t see myself as a ladies man. It hasn’t been easy though trying to deal with the female fans. Some of them even cross the lines. I am very cool and friendly person, but I know where to draw the line. What do you do in your spare time? I love to watch movies and read lots of books. So no time for your girlfriend too? Erm…. (Laughs). Presently, I am not in any relationship. I just broke up with my ex; so I am alone right now. It has been easy to jump into another relationship. How long has it been? It’s almost a year since we parted ways. So how do you cope sexually? I have lots of friends, but I am not into any serious relationship right now. You mean ‘friends with benefit’? (Laughs). Well, you can call it whatever you want, but I am not into any serious relationship right now. Did you really suffer a heartbreak that made you unable to love again? She didn’t really break my heart. We just parted ways amicably. We couldn’t handle each other; so we had to split. She was a very nice person. I like her a lot, but she wanted to get married, but I wasn’t ready at that time. Have you ever cried for love? I don’t think I have. I can feel bad, very bad, but I can’t cry for a woman. So what could make you shed tears? I am very scared of failure. I don’t want to be seen an unsuccessful guy. I don’t see myself failing, so I don’t think I have shed tears over anything. But when my father passed on, I cried. I believe that’s a different kind of tears. My father died about eight years ago. His death was one of the toughest times in my life. After he died, lots of things changed. I was forced to become more independent. What’s your idea of an ideal woman? I have a very big eye when it comes to women. My taste is huge when it has to do with women. I love pretty women, very intelligent, tall, sexy, God-fearing, hardworking, then very beautiful. Ini Edo seems to have all the features you mentioned. What happened to your relationship with her? Ini is just my friend and my senior colleague. I have lots of respect for her. Those pictures were actually movie pictures. So how did it get online and went viral? I don’t know. There are enemies everywhere. I don’t know how those pictures leaked. When is the movie coming out? I don’t know about that. I am not the producer. But I’m sure it would be out very soon. Those pictures were taken on a movie set; that’s the honest truth. So are you saying the future holds nothing for both of you? She is my friend and senior colleague; that’s all. I don’t think there is something more than that. Can you marry or date an older lover? Well, it depends on the situation. Why not, after all age is just a number. Once there is love and understanding and they both respect themselves, I see no big deal in marrying an older woman. What would you wish to change about yourself? I want God to give me more wisdom to deal with women. Because they are so complicated. Women have really dealt with me (laughs). Women are meant to be loved and cherished not understood. How do you cope with the deep kisses on different actress in different movies? I don’t kiss a lot of actresses (laughs). In fact, before I take up any kissing role, I make sure I know the hygiene of the actress involved. Because I am very particular about hygiene. I would rather not kiss or find a way to resolve it. But I haven’t found myself in such situation though. Aside acting, what else do you do? I do some kind of business. I don’t want to talk more about it. Pick two actress you can go on a lunch date with? I would pick Genevieve Nnaji and Stephanie Okereke Linus. They are very cool and classy. I love their personality. I don’t like loud mouthed people that’s another good thing amount the two of them. Where are you seeing yourself in five years? I want to be a very successful actor. I hope to have achieved a lot in my life by then. What makes Mike Godson unique? I am a very honest person. My word is my bond. I don’t like lies. What are you currently working on ? I am presently working on a script. We are shooting part of it in Lagos, South Africa, and America. The title is ‘ For the Wrong Reasons.’ . It is a big budget movie. It is going to be for the Cinemas. www.sunnewsonline.com/new/i-cant-cry-for-a-woman-mike-godson/
