Please has anyone who recently had their skype interview though the Holborn Scholars Foundation scholarship for Carleton Uni. been called to receive their Grant? My brother also applied and got interviewed by the canadian sponsors but we haven't heard from them yet. I visited their office but i was told they haven't been contacted yet and time seems o be running out for the september intake. Please i need information from anyone please, this would be my brothers 3rd attempt!

you can email them or go to thier office, i have confirmed myself, what they do is apply for a grant for you, they also assist people with getting admission, but if you have your admission you can go to them, they will help you.

I think its late now, the 2019 students have already made thier school applications, but they do it annally, so you can try next year.

We wrote a scholarship from holborn scholars foundation to Canada on 3/02/2018 here in Abuja,
I received a message from them today being 12/02/2018 that I am among the successful candidate, stated that I should come and collect my application package at their headquarters. 3 Sule Sbuka str, off Opebi road, Ikeja, Lagos.
Please is this authentic and I based in Abuja.

MY COUSIN WAS AMONG THE NAMES PUBLISHED TOO, IF IM CORRECT YOU WERE AMONG THE UNIVERSITY OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND SET. THEY DIDN'T MENTION SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES, THEY ONLY NOTIFIED THEY HAD GOTTEN ADMISSION AND QUALIFIED FOR THE GRANT APPLICATION STAGE, IM SURE YOU GOT YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTER TOO, BUT LETS BE HONEST, THEY TRIED! THEY GOT US AN ADMISSION WITHOUT US PAYING A DIME NOT EVEN THE SCHOOLS APPLICATION FEE, MY COUSIN EVEN HAD A SKPYE INTERVIEW THAT LASTED ABOUT AN HOUR DIRECTLY WITH THE UNIVERSITY FINANCIAL AID OFFICE BUT FEW WEEKS LATER WE GOT A MAIL FROM THE SCHOOL SAYING THAT MY COUSIN WASN'T OFFERED THE AID AND THAT THEIR DECISION WAS FINAL. THE MAN THEN ADVISED US IF WE COULD GET A BANK STATEMENT WITH 2-5 MILLION IN IT THAT WE COULD TRY AND APPLY TO THE EMBASSY WITH MY COUSINS ADMISSION LETTER, BUT I ASKED MY COUSIN NOT TO GO ANY FURTHER BECAUSE I THOUGHT THERE WAS NO POINT TO IT SINCE HE WASN'T GETTING A SPONSORSHIP. WILL HOLBORN HELP YOU? YES, WILL THEY REALLY HELP YOU? NO! BECAUSE UP TILL THIS DAY I STILL FEEL THERE WAS SOMETHING THEY COULD HAVE DONE TO HELP MY COUSINS CASE BUT THEY REFUSED TO. WHAT THEY DO IS APPLY FOR YOU AND LEAVE YOU UP TO YOUR FATE..

LMAO holborn is the biggest scam in Nigeria. Anybody who goes just know you're wasting your time and money. Ever wondered why not a single person on their so called recipients is even on facebook in this 21st century. I also wrote the exam abi na test in Sept 2016 in Enugu with my gf, my picture used to be on their profile page. Oct 1 they invited us to their office in Lagos for documentation and then the money story started. I called a contact in Canada who is a medical Doctor to help me investigate and they denied having any form of partnership with Emmanuel Akporobaro or whatever he calls himself. Dude is an organized con artiste. Anyone who ventures you do that at your own peril. Stay away from them. Let him who have ears hear. If you're a graduate with masters and work experience you can try CANADIAN EXPRESS ENTRY which is legitimate and even has a thread on nairaland. A friend of mine and his brothers all left last year. That's the surest if you can meet up requirements.

They are genuine, my cousin was involved in their program last year, he made it up to the skype interview stage. from what i was able to gather, they're not the ones offering the scholarship, they link you with private organizations offering these Grants. i advise you to check with their requirement and make sure you have all your papers complete before you embark.
