When trading with stockbrokers that charges higher, like 3% in both buying and selling one will end up making money for that firm.

Morgan capital charges is 1.5% in both buying and selling put together. How I wish that other stockbrokers like CSL will cut down their commission like Morgan.

Did your know that when a particular stock gain 2.99%, one will be on the win side of 1.49% gain with a firm that charges 1.5 %, but with stockbroker that charges 3%, you are still on the loosing side.

SEC should better do something, most especially now we are into real time online trading.

Most stockbrokers commission are equivalent to broad day light robbery.

I have said it long time ago that their charges are outrageous. It needs to be looked into!

Please can someone recommend a good stock broker that their charges are quite competitive. I think EDC Securities is on the high side, they charge about 1.73% when you buy and almost 2% on sales.

Pls can someone answer me!!!

FBNH are not serious. Yet to pay dividends and bonus of 2015 FYE to shareholders.

I think it is high time we invoked SEC on FBNH.

I have received my 2015 & 2016 FYE FBNH dividend. Fill the e-dividend form, post it to First registrar via courier they will pay you.

FBNH did not give BONUS shares for FYE 2015, its in FYE 2014 that they gave 1 for 10 bonus.

Hope you are not confusing FYE with the year they declared dividend and bonus.

...you must know how much you intend to sell it. For ex, assuming you are selling at N2 cheesy, then interest will be
= (2 x 900,000 x (0.925/100)) + 4.2 = 7,830
Let me know if you understand this
grin grin grin grin grin

pls i dont understand how you arrive at 7,830
What i got is:

1,800,000 *.00925 +4.2

16,650 + 4.2 (i dont get the 4.2 is it in percentage?)

...nice piece of experience @yok. May I advice you to NEVER use illiquid stocks for JIJO. You will most often burn your fingers, they are only good for medium- to long-term investing. Best of luck.

Pls am new here, what is the meaning of JIJO?
