I just discovered that EDC securities is charging over 2% on trading fees which is highly ridiculous. Pls what other brokers are you using that their fees are low.

Please where do i go to see real time stock prices during trade. I am registered with EDC securities and their online app is just to place buy/sell orders. I am looking for more than that, where i can see real time buy/sell orders.

Its a trading day immediately after the Qualification Date.
For instance, FIDELITY, OKOMU and TOTAL's qualification date is Friday 22/04/22, the markdown date will be Monday 25/4/22......being the next trading day.

Qualification date is 22nd April

Close of register 25-29th April.

Can i sell on 23rd April i.e after qualification and still get the dividend or i have to wait till after 29th.

I just want to add that if you live in Nigeria and you buy dollar and deposit the CASH into your USD account, you cannot transfer that money abroad through electronic transfer. You can only withdraw the USD cash or use ATM abroad this is the new CBN guideline.

It's better to get someone that will transfer dollar to your account rather than depositing cash. You can always confirm this from your bank.

What Shegs Said!!!! Your calculations are so apt that if I was your maths teacher I will give you extra marks.

People often think they need to invest their POF. We have had some disagreements here about mutual funds, equity based, money market based, how easy is it to liquidate, ADR etc.

I continue to preach my sermon....."cash" also know as "account balance" is king and foreign currency cash is king times 2!!! You can always invest in whatever asset you like when you get COPR and land.

My advise to those asking what to do with their POF is exactly what Shegs says. Open a foreign currency account in Nigeria and convert to USD or CAD or open an account in Canada straight up, that's where you'll be living in the future anyway. As an aside, this also removes the need to be looking for exchange rate converters/websites up and down and deciding which is best.

The best time to add her is post AOR, it means your wedding have to be post AOR. Then she will only do medicals, PCC and you will have to increase your POF to family of 2.

Take note: your wedding cannot be pre-AOR and you inform IRCC post AOR that will be misrepresentation.

I have a girlfriend i intend to get married to within this year, presently i'm in the pool with a score of 478, i tried to re-calculate my score as "married" and i got a score of 451, considering that she hasn't done ECA or IELTS.

My question is this, when is the best time to add her to my application? We don't want to go through the stress of ECA and IELTS for her.
Considering the score factor, can i safely add her Post AOR or Post PPR?

Even if he can't settle in Canada now, he can go to Canada with you guys to get his PR and come back. PR is valid for 5yrs, which he can use later.

It's something you guys have to decide on and it won't be an easy decision. I am applying as unaccompanied spouse but that's because hubs will genuinely not be able to come for now so he gave the go-ahead for me to apply just with the kids.

Please for someone who has a BSC in Radiography and she needs to renew her license every year to practise. Do you think she will be categorised under "Masters or Professional degree needed to practise in a licensed profession"

Which ECA body will be best to evaluate her? WES, ICAS or IQAS? Please anyone that have done a similar evaluation should please let me know.

Please assist, my friend wants to be the principal applicant (PA) because of age advantage over her husband, her husband's sister lives in Canada.

Can she claim sibling point from her sister in law or must the husband be the PA in order to claim siblings point under EE.

I just found out that someone that have Zenith account was paid on Tuesday which means the payment date was 17th June 2019. If there are delays in paying to other banks, they should have communicated it on their website. Naija na wah ooooh

IT’S PPR
���������� indeed the Golden mail has landed. This Canada waka started in 2017 when hubby wrote ielts in December shortly before I had my first son. I wrote mine in March L7R8W6S7.5. Crs 380. A friend invited us to this group and we realized that the ultimate score for good crs is 8777 and the younger the applicant, the juicer �. The responsibility fell on me to become the p.a. I had to brace up to tackle listening and writing. Fast forward to June 2018, second ielts attempt L8R8S7.5W6.5. Oh!!! I wept, we proceeded for remark and after about 8weeks of anxious waiting, it came out unchanged. Before I knew it, I took in again(chai, who send me msg na ��) i started attending class in order to defeat writing. After the rigorous exercise, September came and I had the worst result ever L8.5R6.5W6S8, I was broken, discouraged and tired. Thank God for a supportive spouse who kept speaking positive words in my ears. Infact he proceeded to book 2 consecutive exams. Come October 13th I smashed L8R7.5S7.5W7 ��. We couldn’t ask for refund because the result came out a day before the next exam. I went in for the oct27 and I waved goodbye to ielts in style L8.5R8.5W7S7.5 ���. With a good ielts score+below 30+masters+3yrs work experience, crs 474. We dived into the pool in Nov and here is the timeline.
Ita Nov 15.
Aor Dec 20.
Biometrics Jan 30.
March 12, I Put to bed.
March 14 I raised cse for newborn. It wasn’t up to 24hrs, I got double ADR. They requested more info of the company I referenced, my pay slips( I had 7 days to submit this)The second adr was for my baby. I submitted the first adr. Tackled the second within 2weeks( baby’s passport, medical and payment and updated Pof) I submitted these documents on 31st March and my ppr landed on 4th April. Whoops!!!! This journey was indeed an emotional roller coaster but God came through for us. Our VO is Ottawa.
