Cameo simply means you came to a video shoot cause you feel like or to show support or the label wants you to (up and coming acts that needs publicit). You get credit as a featured act on a song and all the other extras(Producer, songwriter, engineer, sampled act, keyboardist etc) Some exceptional cases for a movie-like music video tho. And yes I know Davido was a cameo on Wale's The Girls on Drugs music video. One of the severally "slept on" jams off The Album About Nothing album. Bless man. |
