The neglect of the local communities has remain unabated for years ; provision of pipe borne water, good road network, environmental enhancement, health facilities, recreational facilities as well as education are relegated. Many regimes have come and gone nothing much has been done to alleviate the colossal poverty that has been unleashed on the people. Many local community dwellers are condemn to the abyss of poverty, ignominy , subsistence farming, fishing, hunting, embarrassing high rate of youth unemployment, rural- urban migration not because our nation is not well endowed but because of the influence of corruption that has been staring us on our faces without any solution in view. Do we continue to look on as these corrupt monsters continue to devour us till our carrion litter our communities?

From experience the use force and restiveness cannot solve our problems in Nigeria. Then what do we do? We in imperial Impact have introduced “Commendation and Conscientiousness”. We commend for the little done and arouse the conscience of our political leaders in our communities. We organize award ceremonies, for local community builders to commend them for effort and to induce them to improve on their contributions and commitment to the development of their respective communities. This will attract the attention of others to the train of the grassroots developers. The introduction of “The Speaker” magazine which will showcase the activities of the various Local Governments is in view.

TALENT DISCOVERY:

Great talents are wasting away in the rural areas and the government is doing next to nothing about it. We want to hunt out these talents in the various rural areas in the field of education, sports, vocational skills, entertainment, and other social and cultural sectors.

The orphans and the physically challenged persons are languishing in pain and penury in our nation today. Though some but very few are trying to put smiles on their faces but a lot still need to be done to alleviate the pains of these people.

Our co-coordinator must reside in the local government he/she intends to work. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A COORDINATOR:

He will be responsible to the national coordinator and from time to time attend seminars and workshops organize by the organization.

He must be able to manage and coordinate the activities of the organization in the state or in the local government areas.

He will recruit and train youth for whatever program design for him to be carried out from the national office

He must be willing to contribute to the national overall development of the organization through suggestions written thesis and other sources.

He must be accountable to the national office financially and otherwise. He will liaise with the government bodies and other agencies on behalf of this organization in whatever program that is design for the state or local government to carry out.

MODE OF OPERATIONS:

As you already know that this is a part time job with an NGO, we will begin our work with “the job at hand” bases. That means we engage you whenever and for the period the job is available and payment is on handsome commission bases.
