I know of a friend whose wife left him just a week to his mom's burial. The young man has just lost his job with an oil company and was going through hard times, few months after that his mom died. Just a week to his mom's burial, his mother-in-law came and took the man's 2 kids and his wife and they never came to the funeral of the mom.

It took God's grace for this man to survive the triple tragedy of loss of job, mom and family breakdown. This my friend was once in the uk and helped his wife to move over to uk. He has always been there for her but a little twist of fate and loss of job, the wife left him even in his mom's death.


The guy gathered a few thing he has and left for canada. After 2 years that the wife abandoned him and followed other guys who actually used and disappointed her, she is now seeking for reconciliation with the husband she abandoned to death.

This is not fictitious. This is a real life story.

UNBELIEF: The sin that so easily entangles and hinders us

"So we see that they were not able to enter into God's rest BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF"(Heb3:19)

God has a very good and great purpose for all his creation. He never created us for evil but with a great future and to bring us to an expected end. His purpose and plans toward us is never for evil. To enter God's rest simply means to enter the place of greatness and the good and perfect plan he has for us even before we came into this world. His place of rest doesn't demand our effort and goodness.
We only require FAITH AND NOTHING BUT FAITH TO ENTER HIS PLACE OF REST.

A place of rest is a place where you rest from all your work just as God rested from all his work after the creation of the world. You dont need 40days prayers and fasting to enter this place. You dont necessarily need to pay any so called man of God money to enter this place of rest. You dont need to kill all the strong men and every evil foundation to enter this place of rest.

The only thing that hinders us from entering this place of rest is nothing but UNBELIEF.
Unbelief in what? Unbelief in God's gracious promise that all we need to enter his best for us is SIMPLE TRUST IN HIS GOODNESS.
It is not a spirit wife or spirit husband that is stopping you for enjoying the best that God's has for you. It is not non payment of tithe that is actually inhibiting you from reigning in life as God desires you to be.

As his word says

'SO WE SEE THAT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ENTER GOD'S REST BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF"(Heb3:19)

When a man doubts the gospel, the word of his grace and God' great and marvelous promises, nothing else could ever help the man to access God's best. Nothing incapacitates and neutralizes the power of God to help man than the man's unbelief in God's grace.

"The message they heard was of no value to them because those who heard DID NOT COMBINE IT WITH FAITH" (Heb 4:2)

It is not enough to go to church. It is not enough to study the word of God. It is also not enough to have believing parents. It makes no sense when we dont actually take God' s for what he says he is .When faced with great challenges and difficulties in life, many of us look down and begin to doubt what God has promised us to bring us to an expected end. When we dont actually mix God's word with our faith, it becomes utterly USELESS. That is why many children of God are suffering needlessly. They can fast for 1000days and be holy even holier than christ but they still smell poverty, sickness and look defeated in life.
Why?
Because the message they heard is of no value to them because they fail to combine it with faith.
Faith is simple "YES" to God's promises.
When God says that all things work for our good. Simply accept that irrespective of any evil or bad things anybody may do to you in life. Dont just fret, dont be afraid. Just believe God who said it is for good.

Again when God says that He will supply all your needs according to his riches in GLORY in christ. Accept it and dont be afraid when you suffer lost of job or contract the next day. Dont go running from pillar to post seeking help from mortal men who are nothing but breath in nostrils. Mix his word with faith and see it produce result. GREAT RESULTS.

"Let us throw off everything that hinders and THE SIN that so easily entangles us and let us run" (Heb 12:1)

Realise that the verse above is not talking about SINS, it is actually talking about a singular SIN, which is unbelief. It hinders us from entering God's rest. Unbelief is the only thing that can stop us. Your other sins cannot stop you. God loves you so much that your weaknesses cannot stop him from taking you to an expected end. Only your unbelief in his power and grace could do that. Many preachers interpret the text above as "SINS' instead of "SIN". But if we carefully look at the text once again , we will realise that our FATHER is talking about a PARTICULAR SIN that so easily stops us

YOU DON'T NEED ANY DELIVERANCE

"For He has DELIVERED us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves"(Col 1:13)

A Christian is not someone in need of deliverance. He is not someone under ancestral curse. He is not someone who is married to one spirit wife or husband. A Christian is someone who has been delivered from the dominion of satan and brought into the Kingdom of LIGHTS.

It's high time we stop running from one mountain of fire to another mountain of snow seeking deliverance from spirit husband, wife, ancestral curses, evil foundation. Its high time we stop listening to UNSCHOOLED RELIGIOUS ILLITERATES and stand firm on God's declaration about us. God said that he has delivered us from satan through the cross. I would rather believe God than believe religious illiterates who dont know where they are going.

The real problem with our society is ignorance. We have relegated God and his word to the background and assigned them a place in the dustbin only for us to run after blind guides who think they are God's spoken men in these last days.

The truth is that , "According to your faith will it be done to you" ( Matthew 9:29) When someone believes that he needs deliverance from what Christ has delivered him from, he will be forever in need of deliverance. He will keep coming back for more deliverance endlessly because he refused to believe what God has said about him. SIMPLE FAITH IN GOD' S WORD is all you need. Fire mountain or cold mountain cannot deliver you. You will keep going back there endlessly day after day, year after year.

Next time someone tells you that you need deliverance, simply tell him that God said that He has delivered you 2000 years ago by the Blood of christ. Stand firm on God's word concerning you.

I would rather believe God than follow UNSCHOOLED RELIGIOUS ILLITERATES who dont know what they are doing. There is no disease more destructive than IGNORANCE.

HE HAS DELIVERED US.
NO ARGUMENT.

YOU ARE A MORNING STAR
"In which you SHINE LIKE STARS in the universe (Phil 2:15)

A morning star doesn't have a good beginning. In it incipient stage or early life, it is not usually recognized as a star because it is covered by very thick cloud of dark dust. While other stars are shining, the morning star in its early stage doesn't shine along with them. It has a humble beginning, often looked down upon by other stars.

But as time progresses, the morning star gradually grows in glory and brilliance until it breaks free from the dark cloud that enveloped its brilliance and outshines not only the dark clouds but also all the other stars. The glory of the morning star is quite different and more glorious than all the other stars as it is written

" STAR DIFFER FROM STAR IN GLORY"
(1Cor15:41)

The way of a child of God is like the way of a morning star . In fact we are morning stars. The path of a righteous man is not always smooth in the beginning.
No wonder his word says
"The path of a righteous man is like the MORNING SUN, SHINING EVER BRIGHTER TO THE FULL LIGHT OF THE DAY"(Pro 4:18)

The glory of the morning star is covered by thick dark dust particles in the beginning, so is the life of a righteous man is beset by many disappointments, failures, rejections, lost of job, family breakdown, betrayals etc. You see friends walk away from him because of loss of job, you see wife leave him because of financial breakdown. He is treated as the refuse of the world, even the scum of the earth. His glory is hidden and concealed by his creator by thick dust of darkness. He does it so that when HE brings him to limelight , all will know that his glory was from the Lord alone. The Lord doesn't want to share that glory with anyone .

The morning star shines at an appointed season. It doesn't shine until the time set by the Father because the morning star is a destiny star. He is a special star , he is not just a star. His glory surpasses that of the other stars.He always has the last laugh. When other stars were shining and rejoicing over him because he was steeped in pitch darkness, he trusted in his maker. But once in limelight, he outshines all the other stars. The glory of the morning star is seen not only at night , but also in the morning. In the morning when all the brilliance of all the other stars are overcome and concealed by the brilliance of the sun, the MORNING STAR STLL SHINES FORTH. Not even the radiation and the brilliance of the sun could stop this great star from shining. When you see a star shining in the morning, it is a morning star. They are only one or two of them that shine in the morning. They are not many. They are chosen by the Father to shine when all the others stars have faded away. Though their beginning are always rough and bitter, their end surpasses the glory of all the other stars.

No matter whatever you may be going through in life never lose the MORNING STAR.

" I AM THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR"
(Rev 22:16)
The Lord Jesus Christ is the morning star. His beginning was very rough but today he sits enthroned as the King of Kings. He also lives in you if you believed in him. In him also you have become a morning star. You may suffer the lost of job, friends may walk away, wife or husband may abandon us, society may label you a failure, but never give up. In due season, you will shine. He has destined the time for you to shine. As it is written

"The revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will never prove false, though it linger, wait for it. For it will surely come and will not delay"(Hab2:3)

Whatever the Lord promised you will surely come to pass
He never disappoints. Hold on to HIM.
You are the light of the world; a city set on the hill cannot be hidden.

You will outshine the thick dark dust covering your glory. You will outshine all the other stars on the day He brings you to limelight.

THE BEAUTY OF HIS GRACE.
"And now I commend you to God and to the WORD OF HIS GRACE which can BUILD YOU UP AND GIVE YOU AN INHERITANCE"(Acts 20:32)

Almost everybody shouts the word "GRACE GRACE", but only a few people really understand and live in grace.
Grace is not just grace. NO, GRACE IS A MYSTERY THAT IS MADE KNOWN BY REVELATION. As it is written

"The dispensation of GOD'S GRACE that was given to me for you. THAT IS THE MYSTERY MADE KNOWN TO ME BY REVELATION" (Ephesians 3:2,3)

What actually is the meaning of the words, "THE WORD OF HIS GRACE".
They are those words that reflect God's undeserved love and kindness to us IN CHRIST JESUS. They talk about what God has accomplished for us in Christ and what we have become in Christ not based on our goodness but by virtue of that one and for all sacrifice on the cross. Grace bypasses our works and goodness. Grace overlooks our weaknesses and sins. YES, OUR SINS. Grace speaks of God' s unmerited favour to us not minding our failings and imperfections. The preaching on grace is the most controversial message in human history. Many have been slandered, ferociously maligned, persecuted and killed because of this message. A message that A HOLY GOD WILL JUSTIFY AND BLESS AN UNHOLY MAN IRRESPECTIVE OF HIS EVIL WORK. That's unheard of. Thats unimaginable.

"Lord, who has believed our message,
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed"(Isaiah 53:1)

Now the message here is nothing but the message of grace. WHO ACTUALLY HAS BELIEVED THIS MESSAGE? Only to those to whom it has been revealed. Many oppose the word of His grace because they have not fully apprehended the message of grace by their human Spirit. It has not been revealed to them. Grace is the "ARM OF THE LORD".
In other words, grace is the "POWER OF GOD"

When God wants to radically change the situation of any man, he sends the word of his grace to him. As it is written

"The LORD, WHO CONFIRMED THE WORD OF HIS GRACE BY ENABLING THEM TO DO POWERFUL SIGNS AND WONDERS"(Acts 14:3)

God doesn't confirm everything written in the bible. There is law and grace in the bible. The law has been annulled and set aside . God doesn't confirm the word of his law. God only confirms the word of his grace . That's why there is little or no manifestation of God's power amongst us today. Our assembly is filled with people who preach law to us. And the truth is that God doesn't confirm law with miraculous signs and wonders.

Do you want to see the power of God move mightily in your life? Get his word of grace, EAT AND DIGEST IT.
His grace talks about the good and perfect gifts he has given us in christ Jesus. He paid the bills already for us by his sacrifice. Everything you receive from now on is free. Come on, law will never tell you that. Law demands that you make a sacrifice. It demands tithe, first fruits, seed faith, seed this ,seed that, holiness this, holiness that, wear that , dont wear that, cover hair, eat that, dont eat that, touch that , dont touch that.
In fact to rely on law to get God's blessing is real bondage. As it is written

"ALL WHO RELY ON THE LAW ARE UNDER A CURSE" ( Galatians 3:10)

A cursed man is a man who wants to live by the law of moses to get blessings, healing and to be counted righteous by God. Are you that man? Maybe that's why everything is quite hard for you. Nothing works after the 20 years of tithing. No healing after the 40 days fast.
Why?

"BECAUSE THEY PURSUED IT NOT BY FAITH AS IF IT WERE BY WORKS AND THEY STUMBLED OVER THE STUMBLING BLOCK"(Roman's 9:32)

When you cease from pursuing God's free gift by your human effort and goodness, you will receive it. Is that making sense?

Grace is a gift that has been paid and purchased by Christ's atoning sacrifice. Nothing is ever required of you than to receive it by your SIMPLE FAITH.

Again I ask , "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR MESSAGE?

LOVE IS THE SOLUTION
"But if we love one another, God lives in us"
(1John4;12)
Don't ever, for no reason whatsoever, repay anyone evil with evil. Be humble enough to ask for forgiveness from those you might have wronged, whether they forgive or not , it is not up to you anymore. Dont harbor evil or resentment against anyone. These are the forces that keep men in perpetual bondage. Chains are heavy, but no chain is HEAVIER THAN THE CHAIN OF UNFORGIVENESS.
Dont let the devil trick you into unforgiveness.
Love is the whole essence of life. You cannot have a living walk with the Holy God and live a life of hate and bitterness. The life of love is the sure proof that we have been born of God and are partakers of His divine nature. The nature of God is love. In fact, GOD IS LOVE.
Holiness without love is NOTHING BUT WITCHCRAFT. No matter the pain, the hurts and evil you go through in this dark world, always remember to walk in love. Despite all the evil that happened to Joseph, he never held it against his brothers that hated him so much, he never held it against the woman that lied against him and sent him to prison. He forgave them and provided for them even in the time of famine.

To love actually means to live in God. It is so unfortunate that christianity has been turned into a religion of rules and laws on how to dress, and conduct useless deliverance and how to give all you have to one lazy man who refused to work, instead of a love walk with a living God. God is not really interested in rules and laws on dressing. God wants us to live like him in love. Denied by peter 3 times, left by his disciples, left alone to His heavenly Father at his darkest moment of life , yet after his resurrection, He fed these same men with hot oven grilled fish and bread . JESUS, IN DEED, IS LOVE.

Love is the highest height of christianity. A mature Christian is the one who walks in love. It's no longer about our desires, it's not about the evil done to us. It's about the welfare and good of others. Love puts others ahead. I apologise not because I am wrong, but because I want a loving relationship with the one I apologize to. Love is not an expression of weakness. No, love is an expression of a humble spirit who lives in God. It takes humility to love. It takes great humility to go to someone and ask them for forgiveness. It takes humility to say, "I AM SORRY, I WANT YOU BACK". A proud man can never walk in love because he hasn't had an encounter with this humble God, who himself is love.
Jesus was denied by Peter, yet he was the one who went to Peter for reconciliation. God wants us to be like him. In fact He blesses us beyond our imagination when we act in love.
The greatest blessing in my life came after God told me to travel all the way to Ibadan to ask someone for forgiveness. Immediately after that fruitless journey, God transported me by His Spirit to the greatest height. It doesn't matter what people may say or do, let's walk in love.

If you walk in love, God lives in you.
Love is the only solution to the cries of the human heart.
Will you let the Lord Jesus use you to heal the world?
WALK IN LOVE AND BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING

Few weeks ago I heard when a self-acclaimed "DADDY G.O" made the insinuation that believers who dont pay their tithe will not make heaven and the whole assembly shouted "Amen" to affirm his vain proclamation.
But wait a minute, if God could die on the cross as a ransom to save mankind from eternal damnation and deliver to us once for all an eternal salvation through our faith in that great sacrifice, has he for no reason whatsoever changed his mind in these last days by asking us to pay for the sacrifice that he once called "THE FREE GIFT OF GOD"?

"For it is by grace you have been saved through faith AND THIS NOT FROM YOURSELVES; IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. NOT BY WORKS ,SO THAT NO MAN CAN BOASTEphesians 2,8,9)

The scripture is very clear on how God saved sinful mankind. It has nothing to do with ourselves, it has nothing to do with our works, no payment was ever required and no payment will ever be required. Salvation is the work of God and the GIFT OF GOD. He did it so that no man will boast of his work in his presence. Nothing can be added to THIS GREAT GIFT OF GOD, NOTHING CAN BE SUBTRACTED FROM IT.

It is the GIFT OF GOD says the Holy writ. We can never pay to receive a gift. Once payment is demanded it is no longer a gift but a business transaction and an obligation. Dont ever think that you could buy the gift of God with money. It is a slap on the face of this GREAT GOD to mortgage his free gift for filthy lucre. How we have fallen from the truth. How we have peddled the word of God for profit.

" HE WHO DID NOT SPARE HIS OWN SON BUT GAVE HIM UP FOR US ALL, HOW WILL HE NOT ALONG WITH HIM FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS?
(Romans 8:32)

We must understand that through Christ, God has freely given us ALL THINGS. When God says "ALL THINGS" , he means it. You must align yourself with God's thoughts and his ways to receive from him whatever he has promised. The sole reason we miss God is because we dont come to him based on his own terms . No, we approach GOD through the false foundation and ideologies that was handed down to us by some greedy so-called men of God.

"IN THEIR GREED THESE MEN WILL EXPLOIT YOU WITH FABRICATED STORIES"

He wants you to pay him tithe so that you can make heaven.THATS A FABRICATED STORY BORNE OUT OF GREED. The DADDY G.O or whatever they call him is simply fulfilling the scripture.

Brothers and sisters ,the time is upon us. The end is here. Let's go back to His word and discover the truth for ourselves. We have NO DADDY except the ABBA FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN.
He loves you so much that He gave you ALL THINGS FREELY through His Son.

"We do not receive the spirit of the world but the Spirit WHO IS FROM GOD that we may understand what GOD HAS FREELY GIVEN US"

He has FREELY GIVEN IT TO US. The Spirit of God tells you what God has FREELY given us. The spirit of the world tells us what we must pay or offer to access what God has given freely. There is no free gift in satan. As far as satan is concerned someone got to make some sacrifice. That's how to recognize the spirit of the world.

Finally the Spirit is saying

Eternal life or heaven is the free gift of God. You dont need to pay any DADDY tithe to get it.

Please, it is high time we, low minded christians, needed to stop presenting our God as a wicked, angry and a brutal God to world, but a gracious and ever loving father that he is.

A God who hates no sinner.

But because of our mis-believing and the lack of revelations behind the letters we read, we have ended up chasing people away from God, who loves them so much and trying to reconcile himself to them, thinking we are doing the right thing.

When you don't understand what read from the bible or lack the revelations behind the letters, don't end up spreading false gospel about God, just see down and seek knowledge either from the holyspirit or a more intellectual people of God who know what it really means.

This the reason why many people are flocking into atheism.

Good morning nairalander. I am kind of confused about taking an office job or continue with my private lecture which I started a year ago.

After youth services, I scramble the nooks and crammy of Benin and Lagos looking for an office job but to no avail. All application letters written to organisations didn't yield any positive result as I waited for invite like a woman waiting to deliver her baby. I initially taught it was my CV, so I gave it to a professional to help me edit, still no good organisations called me for an invite even with a sound result from a science discipline. The little money from NYSC was also getting exhausted. I began to think the way forward.

After about three month without getting any positive reply from organisations, I just decided to forget about applying for both online and offline jobs because it was depressing. I decided to find something I can do to fetch me income. After presenting my request to God, in a dream God told me you have something to fetch you income, use your brain. I began to think until the revelation became clear.

Since I reside in GRA where the rich men and women reside, I did a flex which is very attractive for the service of a home tutor in mathematics, physics, chemistry and Technical Drawing and scattered it around big schools and strategic locations within GRA Environ. I began to pray and wait for calls.

Two weeks later, I got a call from a woman for my service to prepare her son for WAEC and JAMB examination . After negotiations we concluded at 30k. After that another client called and we concluded at 25k. Just like that until I got about five lectures ranging between 90 to 110k per month. I was so happy and I later caved a niche for myself two moths later. Sometimes I can boast of saving 50k or more per month. I then stop applying for jobs because there was no time anymore except on few occasions...

Six moths later, I got a call from ABC company requesting me to come for an interview. I went for the interview and performed very well. The HR were smiling as i levelled all their questions with ease and even gave them classical illustrations. The moment came for salary negotiation and they asked, how much should we pay you? I said 100k and above. They started laughing and I told them that's what I can accept with confidence. They told me their payment for fresh graduate is 60k. I told them I can't accept 60k, that my input to the company will be worth more than 60k. They told me that's all they can offer, then I boldly stood up, thank them for the interview and left their presence. A week later, I was called from the CEO himself to come to the company. He told me he heard how I refused a salary of 60k. He conducted a personal interview for me and I performed very well this time even without preparation. He told me he will add 10k to the initial 60k offered to me adding up to 70k. I told him I can't accept because what I do earn me more. He persuaded me and I told him I will get back to him after three days, that he should give me some time to make up my mind. He accepted and I left for my daily home teaching.

Once I accept the offer, I can't even take a single private lecture again because the company operate from 8am to 6pm from monday to Saturdays. I won't have time for myself again the way I used to as a home tutor. I was even planing to set up a lecture centre but with the job, I can't do it anymore. The home lecture is stressful and tiring but I'm just happy doing it because I get positive results from students and parents. The company is also a place I can build my career to a certain level but it will just imprisoned my life which I don't like as a hustling guy.

Don't take that job.
Continue with your home lecture and save up to open a lecture centre.
And see God will take you to higher heights
Remember he told you to use your brain.
That means that job is not for you.

i have always despised working in an office under a boss, reading a book called rich dad, poor dad increased my hatred for working under a boss, in a country like Nigeria theres no job security and if you look at it critically, you are actually working yourself up for your boss and the govt. and you'll have no time for yourself at all. i want to be my own boss and I'm sure i will realize that some days, with the right facilities readily available, heres some businesses that i will venture into and it will survive in Nigeria.

1. livestock farming: theres alot of gains in livestock farming if you know your way around it, am talking of getting a big space(land), and start little, maybe poultry, I'll buy all the breeds, in places with alot of hotels like lagos, portharcourt etc, i will rear broilers and advertise it to major hotels so I'll be supplying them meat, if theres capital I'll add a cold room to process the meat, and during festive periods demand will skyrocket, layers for thier eggs and there's also market for eggs, with time I'll venture into grasscutter farming and fishery, very easy to set up, and you supply bars and as you grow your customer base, you might end up buying a delivery van and it will be a smooth sail from then on.

2. importation of fairly used goods: my dad's friend does this, he brings alot of stuffs and you must have something to buy whenever you visit his exhibition, his imported goods ranges from laptops, phones, bicycles, home theaters, tvs, electrical appliances, household items, office chairs, washing machines, lawn movers, hover boards, even miniature bikes, mountain bikes and the good thing is crowds gather to wait for him whenever they hear he's two hours away, now he brings five or more cars in a truck each time he travels.

3. fashion boutique coupled with fashion designing: be a fashion designer and create unique styles which will make you stand out and you can also display fashion wears in your boutique to advertise your handwork

4. blogging: you just need internet access, a computer and a brain to start this, and choose a niche you know something about and you're good at.

5. hotel and catering services: this is self explanatory, but you need huge capital to start, you can start with a small setup more like a drive through or dinner, and choose a catchy name that stands out not common names like mama nkechi lip licking joint, be neat and create a nice environment, hire friendly workers to leave a remarkable experience on the minds of your customer so they'll come back for more

6. beer parlour: if you arent humble, hardworking with thick skin you cant pull this off because irresponsible people come to beer parlours and their behavior might annoy you so if you have what it takes go for it

7. delivery services: you can partner with major shopping outfits to be thier professional delivery service, outfits like konga, jumia etc.

8. dry cleaning service: dry cleaning is a profit making venture if you choose the right place to open it, i can only think of abuja

there are more of thise businesses but this is all i can think of
