I pray one day my future husband would pray prayers for me such as this.

PLEASE ADD YOUR SPOUSE NAME IN THE BLANK SPACES

Father God in the precious Holy name of my Saviour Jesus Christ, I come to you in all honesty, loyalty, and in total humbleness. Father I lift ______ up to you Lord, my wife, and the woman who has stolen my heart, the rib that you removed from my body before the day I was born to have her stand beside me. (Gen. 2 : 22 - 23; 1 Peter 3:7)

I ask that you protect her from all dangers, place a hedge of protection and guardian angels around her Father, let the spirit of holy fire consume her body and anoint her. Anoint her lips to sing a song of Praise all day, anoint her feet and legs to dance a dance as David danced before the Arc of the Covenant.
Father, allow her heart to open and receive all the Love, and Peace that has been sent to her. I pray these blessing over her. Father God, anoint ______ to grow like no other, and allow her to become that woman of God you have called her to be. Let her words be words of wisdom, insight, and knowledge. Father God, I beg you Lord activate your healing spirit upon ______ hands and the healings words on her tongue, give her this gift of healing for the body, soul, and mind. Let this gift flow freely to others that need this touch from you and allow her to be that vessel that delivers your touch. Let her light for you shine brighter than any other and let your light shine in her where ever she goes, never to be put out.

I love ______ Lord and I ask you for the very best that you have for her, your touches, your anointing, your blessings, your mercies, and your grace. Soften the touch of her lips and sweeten the dew of her breath, let the glow of the sun flow through her hair and the shine of your Holy Spirit surround her at all times. Let ______ be a woman of woman and give her the strength to encourage her man, to love him and to build him up, (Galatians 6:10). Let her passion for the Lord consume his spirit so he may be the man of God you need him to be, a warrior for your kingdom, a man who carries a mighty sword and swings a sharp sickle for iron sharpens iron. (Prov. 27 :17; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Genesis 2:18; Ecclesiastes 4:12)

Your Word says it is good for a man not to be alone (Gen. 2 : 18). A man is to Love his woman as Christ Loves the Church, to be one, as one in the flesh and spirit (Eph 5 : 22 - 33). Bless ______ and bestow your Blessing upon her Father. I ask you to bless her with my husbandly prayer, as I am the man you have chosen for her to be with. Father I love you so much Lord and I only wish to share my desires and passions with my wife who shares the same dreams as I, to serve you Lord with the passion that burns in us, kindled by a fire that you are fanning. I cry out as Jabez cried out to you, Lord God, hear my cry, and hear my prayer. (Thessalonians 5:11; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 3:13; Romans 14:19)

Search my heart Lord and find me true, a man of desire, and a man of integrity and strength that only you have given. A man who would pray for ______ , whom I call wife. Every day of her life I will hold her close and ask these blessing over her each night as we rest in the comfort of each other’s arms, to feel her face rest upon my chest. I vow to protect her from harm and to love her like you have loved us. This is the Woman of God I prayed for Lord, and you have given to me, taken from my rib to stand beside me.

I pray these things with complete confidence in Jesus and Your Spirit at work in our marriage. Amen.

Romance / I Will Do This For The Love Of My Life by JoanRichard(f): 1:51pm On Jun 25, 2015
A SINCERE PRAYER TO GOD FOR MY SPOUSE

PLEASE ADD YOUR SPOUSE NAME IN THE BLANK SPACES

Praising God and praying His will for your spouse is guaranteed to be your most rewarding work as his wife. With these powerful prayers, you will be arming your marriage with God’s Word and investing in his role as your spiritual leader.

SATISFACTION IN GOD ALONE
I praise You, the God of all wisdom for husbands. Thank You, God, for knowing the longings of my husband’s heart far better than I do. You know why he hungers for ______ and ______. You know how these yearnings affect his decisions and how those decisions affect our marriage.
You are the God who satisfies the longing soul. You fill the hungry soul with good things. Here is _____’s heart and soul, Lord. I lift him up to You and ask You to fill him with the good You know He needs (Psalm 107:9; Matthew 6:cool.
The world offers _____ so many things to temporarily satisfy his needs. Temptations abound, but You are his shield and his defender. Please train him to resist the devil (Psalm 28:7; Psalm 59:9; James 4:7).
I celebrate that You triumph over every one of Satan’s schemes and the scars he has left on my husband’s heart. You are Jehovah Rapha, _____’s Healer. You are the restorer of his soul. Let the balm of Your perfect love and mercy touch the brokenness of his heart (Genesis 50:20;Exodus 15:26; Psalm 23:3; Jeremiah 17:14).
You joined Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, and when they came out unharmed, they didn’t even smell like smoke. Use their courage to inspire ____ to fear You only. I trust You to give him rest and satisfaction while protecting him from harm (Daniel 3:8–30;Proverbs 19:23).

A MAN OF YOUR WORD
Father, Your Word amazes me. The world is looking for the next “perfect” solution to their problems, and You are always offering it through Your Word. You sent Your Word to deliver, nourish, and counsel us. My heart’s desire is for ______ to feast on Your Word and find It immensely satisfying (Psalm 107:20; Proverbs 3:8; Psalm 119:24; 103).
With Your Word as His source of wisdom, I will rest secure in his leadership of our home. I trust Your Word to fill ____ with the insight he will need for our relationship, his work, and so much more (Ephesians 1:8,17; James 1:5).
Your Word will unite his heart to Yours. His oneness with You will lead his pursuit of oneness with me. Your ways will become His ways. Your faithfulness to me will become His faithfulness to me (1 Corinthians 6:17; Mark 10:8; Galatians 5:23).
Send him an abundance of confidants whose faith in You is bold and courageous. Let them be men who do not lean on their own understanding, but always acknowledge You and Your Word (Psalm 119:63; Proverbs 28:1; 3:5–6).

HUMILITY: THE COURAGE TO ADMIT HIS NEED OF GOD
Thank You, Father for the gift of Jesus and His perfect example of humility. Jesus displayed His love for us with great humility and submissiveness to You. He denied Himself the comforts of heaven to save us. He chose to experience temptations, mockery, rejection, and even death. He rated our needs higher than His own.
You require _______ to love me as Christ loved the church. With great love for ____, I’m asking You to empower him to do this (Ephesians 5:25).
You know the pressure _____ feels to be successful and strong. You know how he is influenced to be self-reliant. You understand his fears and insecurities. He is simply human and at risk of denying his need for You, God. I do not want to see him destroy his life or our marriage because of pride (Proverbs 18:12).
I bring ____ to You, the river of life, and ask You to anoint him with a supernatural portion of Christ’s humility. With it he will be a ready recipient of Your grace. He will be free to boast about his weaknesses to You and wait for You to satisfy his needs with Your strength (Psalm 36:8; James 4:6; 2 Corinthians 11:30, 12:9–10).
You’ve promised that humility is rewarded with riches, honor, and life. Those are gifts I want for my husband, Lord. Help him to let go of any pride and false humility so that he can enjoy the abundant life Jesus died to give him (Proverbs 22:4; John 10:10).

YOUR PRAISE ON HIS LIPS
There is no one who compares to You, Lord. You are worthy of our spellbound attention (1 Samuel 2:2; Psalm 16:cool.
Give ______ eyes to see that You deserve the highest praise. Let him personally experience Your grandeur and strength. Let him live with great conviction that Jesus has authority over all things on earth and in the spiritual realm (Psalm 145:3; Ephesians 1:22).
You inhabit the praises of Your people, and I want ____ to enjoy the comfort and power of Your presence every moment. So, Father, please grant him an irrevocable gift of praising You. Let Your Spirit continually offer up a sacrifice of praise through _____ so that his lips always acknowledge Your name (Psalm 22:3; Philippians 2:10; Hebrews 13:15)
Teach him to praise You in his lowest moments. Train him to exalt Your name during the trials and before the victories. Let his faith in You lead him courageously into our own promised land despite the ominous giants of fear and doubt. Use the psalmists to mentor him in lifting His head to praise Your faithfulness despite his present burdens (1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Chronicles 20; Numbers 13–14; Psalm 43:5).

TRANSFORM HIS WIFE
You have promised _____ that a wife is a good gift from you. I want to be an excellent wife to my husband, one who consistently brings him honor (Proverbs 18:22, 12:4).
You know every one of my weaknesses and how they are impacting my role as ____’s helpmate. Lead me, Lord, to recognize the ungodliness hiding in my will, my expectations, and how I express my emotions. I want to surrender them to You for healing. Show me where I am investing my attention in things that will deteriorate my relationship with _____ (2 Corinthians 12:9–10; Luke 12:2; 2 Corinthians 4:18; Ephesians 1:8,17).
Let the power of Your Word transform my motives. Coach me relentlessly to be a wife who respects her husband in word and deed. Cause Your tenderness, gentleness, kindness, and humility to become my own (Romans 12:2; Ephesians 5:22–24; Colossians 3:12).
I want to be a content wife who does not harass my husband with quarrels and fretfulness. Please use me to create a peaceful home for him. Use me to encourage him, bear his burdens, and reflect Your extravagant love for him (Hebrews 13:5; Philippians 4:11–12; 2 Thessalonians 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Galatians 6:2; Ephesians 3:18–19).
May our souls feast on only on You (Psalm 63:5).

I pray these things with complete confidence in Jesus and Your Spirit at work in our marriage. Amen.

Amen.

Romance / Why The Men Cook by JoanRichard(f): 11:28am On Jun 18, 2015
They say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach but it seems the dining tables have turned as increasing numbers of men are taking up cooking in a bid to seduce women.

This new generation of men considers cooking more a hobby than a household chore, as they use their kitchen prowess to impress friends and prospective partners.

Men having the ability to cook are also now a key factor in attracting women along with salary, status, personality and appearance, according to new research.

Too many cooks, they say, have helped boost the macho, competitive image of cooking which appeals to men.
Many women now believe men are actually better cooks than them. According to the research a fifth of women say their partner is a better cook than them. This rises to a quarter in women under the age of 34.

Dan Davies, Esquire Magazine said 'The ability to cook will only make a man look more sophisticated, more modern and more aware of what's going on today.

Interestingly the findings indicate men's new found enthusiasm for the kitchen does not mean they are interested in other household chores. The cleaning of the home, washing of clothes and shopping for groceries are still forms of work dominated by women. Men can spend just 4 minutes a day washing clothes, less than a quarter of the time spent by women.

Cooking for this new generation isn't simply a matter of refuelling. For them it's an enjoyable experience and something to be relished - they cook for pleasure, praise and potential seduction.

The men in particular are no longer content with what they can find at the back of the kitchen cupboard. They are looking for something much more satisfying in terms of taste, participation and effort.'

Though Men are Better Cook, but Women are the Best Cook

Fashion / When You Get Identified by JoanRichard(f): 11:10am On Jun 18, 2015
This morning as I arrived at the office, I took a quick rush to the washroom - just like my regular attitude to wash and cream my hands.

Although I walked past the pantry leading to the washroom very fast, I never had the slightest idea that in my absence, someone could perceive I was at the pantry - couple with the fact that some staffs were there for their breakfast and tea, bla bla bla!

I supposed that was the moment the kitchen lady walked in. She asked four of my colleagues “sey Joan pass here”and their response was NO. Hmm! Well she doubted their respond as she was sure I had either passed or was around. LOL

Fortunately she saw me coming from the wash room and with a positive smile she said ehhen I talkam say Joan come here but dey say no. I gave my usual pretty smile and asked "how did you know I passed here," still smiling she said "e no hard naw, na your perfume I take no say you come here, even as plenti people pass here I go still know becos d scent different".

Hahahahahaha, what a great remark, isn’t that funny? This happens to few people.
Besides, it’s no news in my office, you could single me out with what I wear - my pencil-heel shoes, dress sense, hair style, and Personal Fragrance. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

But what’s your body identification?

Family / Painting A Little Smiley Faces On Everything You Touch by JoanRichard(f): 7:30pm On Jun 05, 2015
So why is it that openly praising or expressing appreciation to other people can so easily seem awkward, or lackadaisical?

The obvious answer is that we’re not fluent in the language of positive emotions within and out. We’re so unaccustomed to sharing them that we don’t feel comfortable doing so. “Just because it isn't perfect, doesn't mean it isn't awesome.”
Feeling genuinely appreciated lifts people up. At the most basic level, it makes us feel safe, which is what frees us to do our best in all and most times energizes, even when our value feels at risk, as it so often does, that worry becomes preoccupying, which drains and diverts our energy from creating value.

Surprisingly, we’re often more experienced at expressing negative emotions — proactively and defensively, and often without recognizing their abrasive impact on others until much later, if we do at all. That’s unfortunate. The impact of negative emotions — and more specifically the feeling of being devalued — are incredibly toxic.
If you have difficulty openly appreciating others, it’s likely you also find it difficult to appreciate yourself. Take a few moments at the end of the day, to ask yourself this simple question: “What can I rightly feel proud of today?” If you are committed to constant self-improvement, you can also ask yourself, “What could I do better tomorrow?” Both questions hold your value.

We’re all more vulnerable and needy than we like to imagine. Authentically, appreciating others will make you feel better about yourself, and it will also increase the likelihood they’ll invest, while concentrating more on their lives, work, spirit mind, and in you. The human instinct for reciprocity runs deep and by appreciation, we make excellence in others our own property. Voltaire

I’m putting out a call to giving appreciation! Each one of us adds our own thread to the fantastic fabric of life. Why not stop and appreciate those around you?
