Develop and coordinate performance plans and establish objectives in line with Flour operations target and budgets Ensure mills run at optimum efficiency levels by managing downtime

Demonstrated Knowledge of installation procedures for equipment & machines parts
Practical knowledge of industry Health and Safety procedures
Effective verbal and written communication skills Proven relationship management skill
Qualification
B.Eng./HND/BSc in Mechanical Engineering
Membership of Nigerian Society for Engineers
Experience
Minimum of 8 years cognate experience
Knowledge of Milling Technology will be an added advantage

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person for the position of Finance Officer for a 3 month maternity Cover.
About the role
Based in Abuja, the role is part of the wider Nigeria country team. He/she is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate cash and bank books are maintained, monthly accounts and returns are produced in a timely manner, reports are extracted from the financial and
administration systems to review the status of the budget and the adherence to financial policies as well as working with partner organization’s to assist them in programme financial management. He/she manages aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, auditing and compliance related issues, in line with Christian Aid and institutional donors procedures and policies and improve the capacity of Christian Aid programme staff to understand both Christian Aid's and institutional donors' financial policies and procedures.
About you
You are a motivated, confident self-starter with a strong background in knowledge of financial standards required by donors, local financial standards and legal framework. Experience in working with financial accounting procedures and reviewing financial reports, creating and monitoring budgets and working with compliance regulations with considerable experience in delivering financial training using different methodologies and excel spread sheet and word processing packages and other account reporting tools.

Ensuring all statutory and regulatory filings and submissions are made within required deadlines.

Expected to operate the switchboard, screening and transferring of calls, presenting a professional image.
Supervision of office cleaning service provider, ensure reception, kitchen and office is kept tidy.
Provide logistical support to meetings including arranging catering where necessary; coordinate booking and use of board room.

Requirements

A relevant high school qualification, whilst a tertiary qualification in Administration would be an advantage
At least three years’ experience in an administrative role

Fluent in English Language (written and spoken)
Good presentation and negotiation skills
