This would have amde sense if Manchester United was at least making a semi final. But a team getting dumped out by Sevilla is enjoying a team not making final

The last time Man Utd made a CL final, Van persie was still in Arsenal Neymar was in Brazil and Davido was just about to make his debut
The last time Bayern made a European final let alone the UCL, Barack Obama was still settling in for his second term, Countries were still preparing for the world cup before the last world cup, Nigeria won her last nations cup and Fergie just won the EPL and retired like a boss. Hell the last time a German team besides Bayern reached a European final, Ronaldo was still making the UCL final as a Manchester United player.

Now some words from the Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge which may or may not go down well in parts of Manchester.

He says that Manchester City have finally seen sense in the transfer market after accusing the Premier League champions of being one of two clubs responsible for the current spending “madness”.

“He [Pep Guardiola] said they originally planned to buy a few more players but decided against it because they no longer want to be part of the madness,” Rummenigge told Merkur.

“I was a bit surprised to hear this at first, but then I thought it would indeed be wonderful if this statement were to be true until the English window closes.

“City, PSG - they’ve always been the global inflaters. Not Real [Madrid], who have spent next to nothing in the past years, which is proof you don’t have to join the madness to win the Champions League."
No one annoys me more in world football that this dude and them at Bayern. These gays go after every and any emerging talent in Germany till the Bundesliga became a one team league but they are the first to criticize all of world football for one thing or another when it comes to paying current market value for talents. It must hurt so bad to keep talking about spending in England and world football almost every day considering they can't fish in the same pool like before anymore if money was the only thing involved. Bayern is the one reason why i will still keep enjoying seeing top players go for outrageous fees so they can keep penny pinching and moaning about it and hopefully never reach a UCL final in the next 10 years. 5 years and counting.

What is wrong Mourinho trying to get younger players to build a team that can dominate for sometime even when he leaves? What is the guarantee that those guys will win trophies for us? Can you stake your life on the fact that if we get those players, we will win the league? If it's a gamble, why are you not bothered about building a team instead of quick fixes? Just look at how the Sanchez project went especially at the expense of a younger talented Martial. Before we know it Sanchez will not be able to get us anything again and it would have been a waste.

What has Alderweild won at Tottenham or is it not the same Bonucci whose defense was shipping goals last season? The same Smalling and Jones you're talking about conceded lesser goals than the Alderweild. They topped Tottenham in the last season. They beat Tottenham to play in the final of the FA cup. Guy Mourinho has not been faithful in little and my bible tells me that if you're not faithful with little you can't be faithful with much.

OUR PROBLEM IS ATTACK and who does Mourinho want to fix that? Willian fncking Willian. Jesus! Is he looking for an attacker or someone that can defend? Someone that likes to run around without doing anything meaningful to the attack? FFS

our challenge last season was scoring goals and not defending. Creating meaningful chances and taking those chances.

Look at Kloop. LFC is probably saying they can trust Kloop because of what he has been able to do with the not expensive transfers he has been making. Now they're going all out to spend money. Instead of Mourinho to encourage those young ones that were available for preseason and teach them how to win as a team, he only succeeded in killing their morale. SMH. not every club gets their play but they don't moan like Mourinho. What is the essence of buying all those players when the team will automatically go into defensive mode when they face a top team. Abeggi
This is what turned me off ultimately about Mourinho and his football at United. Klopp and Pep are coaches you can support with funds even unlimited because they have a clear, direct and upward progressive football that people of today want to see. It doesn't take long for such style to begin winning trophies and dominating so while Pep seems to have gotten it, Klopp is drawing closer and closrr. If i was a board member, will i be willing to veto more funds for a manager whose football a club that prides itself in attacking football can't see? Why do we setup defensively against any decent opposition and only come out after going a goal down - example of which is our last match only days ago? Is it right to keep throwing money at a manager who has the two most expensive signings in the premier league, another on the highest wage in the league but prefers to play haphazard, uncoordinated defensive football once any good team takes it to his. The last meaningful trophy we won was against canon fodder teams enroute the final. No baga should use that in justifying Mourinho. I actually thought he would improve last season, but a trophiless, hopeless season sets the background for another hopeless one considering the manager is not even upbeat to begin with.

Ed Woodward is a good tractor, noodle and Chivita juice negotiator but definitely not one at football or the politics of it and he's been hoodwinked by Mourinho and didn't even see it coming. Now the club will be preparing for another big pay off and probably a mid season sack. Because one thing is sure, Mourinho will intentionally make this season one of extreme failure and regrets. This man has been working towards this since end of last season, because i don't see any reason for moaning like a hornny girl when players aren't available after being a pundit at thr world cup. What did he expect? He has players he bought and rarely uses, then wants new ones in the same position. Alienating the players who the club believes are the future and bringing in aging ones on hefty wages. Who will do that and expect continued support. He can't trust any of the youth players to break through and make a permanent place in the squad. He's re-signing players like Fellaini-a pointer to how we intend to get results when the going gets tough. Will Madrid or Barca resort to tall players to see out a game? Is the biggest club in the world not supposed to even aim higher? What's worse is the fellaini signing is despite the fans and i suspect the board's discomfort at this - There are young players who can do 10 times better than Fellaini but no they'll instead be down the pecking order. Let's not forget the Pogba debacle, who was a different beast at Juventus and recently the world cup. Surely the United Jersey is not what weighs him down but a manager who's tactics are not geared towards a progressive pattern. Everything about him seems dour at the moment and he's always like this because he will want out soon. I wonder who will want him when he leaves. I wouldn't.
