Infection most times is responsible, but how would I know the causative organism? It could be bacteria(N.gonorrhea,) or protozoa(Chlamydia trichomatis) or fungi(Candida albican). I'm sure your doctor examined you, and also ran a swab culture and sensitivity test. So he/she has an idea what organism is responsible, but I don't. I can't just ask you to get regimen against what I'm blind to. I lack knowledge of your sexual history, which could explain how the infection came about, and if you'll have to protect yourself after medication, lest your partner re-infect you.


But then, what happened to your physician's phone line? Can't you put a call across?

I don't have his number and there is no way i can get it.
She told me it was a bacterial infection. Can you still prescribe for me? Please?

Can you give a prescription to someone who has been diagonized with cervicitis. I lost the prescription my doctor gave me and am not physically close to him.
