you never know. We may just lose to Croatia, then beat both Iceland and Argentina ![]() Oasis007: |
Well, if Rohr maintains what has hardly worked since we qualified, he should have himself to blame. I hope he realizes the obvious now. Icon79: |
modify #5. Moses should not start. period. Icon79: |
The only good game we've had post WC qualification was against Argentina. I don't care about individual player ratings.. no be that one we go chop when WC start. safarigirl: |
haha.. because na Biafra arrange the match hahaha SlayerForever: |
Kai. i had a bad feeling about this game 1. The players looked awkward while singing the national athemn 2. Nepa take light 3. Rain just dey fall anyhow 4. Ref end the match prematurely Guys... don't be plastic fans oh.. At least Nigeria played better than Czech in the second half ![]() |
False.. I only said I had a bad feeling about this match.. KK555: |
NEPA seized light here.. I already had a bad feeling about this match before the mishap. |
I have already answered you question.. is the truth hard for you to swallow, after it has been proved to you? forgiveness: |
one is specific and the other is vague.. a lot of deductions can be made from a vague statement that can be misleading.. we are not in an English Language class, so I won't go on. The point is, firstly I proved to you that Shehu was a prefered choice by Er, then I went ahead to show you that even before Er assumed the managerial role, Shehu still had a slightly better record. The truth remains the truth regardless of what I say. But that's what you hate, the truth which has been staring at your face.. Stop chasing shadows and admit the truth. We are not in a law court. forgiveness: |
a true saint would go do his research again and return to admit that he was wrong.. this guy you would have to keep arguing with him and catch him by the wrist first. Even then he would not still admit.. now, who likes the truth? he said he is humble. yes indeed!! safarigirl: |
Today I know this self-proclaimed saint ("by faith") called forgiveness has no humility to admit when he is wrong. He would go on arguing pointlessly and looking for ways to pick faults in your argument instead of admitting the truth that is staring at his face. na wa!!! Truly, by their fruits you shall know them. |
The statement is vague. That means it's not clear enough. Besides, Shehu came to the Turkish Super Lig on MatchDay 19.. Abi you no know wetin vague mean? I have rendered you the liar but you are still looking for ways to score cheap points forgiveness: |
Match 1. Against Alanyaspor, Shehu paired with Agu in a double pivot. Left and Right respectively. Deduction: Both players considered 2. Against Besiktas, Agu served a match suspension, Shehu played as a single DM in front of the center backs Deduction: Suspension 3. Against Akhisarspor, Shehu played as a single DM ahead of the center backs. While Agu was benched Deduction: Shehu is the preferred choice. Hence, Shehu benched Agu Scores: Shehu 1-0 Agu 4. Against Malatyaspor, Agu played on the left side of a double pivot. Shehu was benched . Deduction: Agu is the preferred choice .Hence, Agu benched Shehu Scores: Shehu 1-1 Agu 5. Against Galatasaray, Agu was deployed to the left side DM in a 3-4-2-1 formation, Shehu featured as RM Deduction: Both players played. 6. Against Kayserispor, Shehu deployed to left side pivot DM. Agu benched Deduction: Shehu is the preferred choice. Hence, Shehu benched Agu Scores: Shehu 2-1 Agu 7. Against Osmanlispor, Shehu at left DM, Agu in the right. Deduction: Both considered 8. Against Sivasspor, Shehu serves suspension, Agu in the left side double pivot DM Deduction: Suspension 9. Against Antalyaspor, Shehu played as RM, Agu in the left side of double pivot DM Deduction: Both players considered 10. Against Kasimpasa, Shehu paired Agu. Shehu at left side of DM, and Agu right Deduction: Both players considered Scores during Le Guen's reign: Shehu 2-1 Agu Match 11: Shehu paired Agu. Shehu at left side of DM, and Agu right Deduction: Both players considered Match 12: Shehu left DM position. Agu benched Deduction: Shehu preferred specifically at left side of DM. Scores: Shehu 3-1 Agu Match 13: Shehu left DM position. Agu benched Deduction: Shehu preferred specifically at left side of DM. Scores: Shehu 4-1 Agu Match 14: Shehu at RM, Agu still benched? Deduction: Club can't do without Shehu playing. He either plays RM or DM. Has only been benched once. Scores: Shehu 4-1 Agu (I wouldn't say Shehu benched Agu on this one) Match 15: Shehu as left DM. Agu is still sitting in bench.. Deduction: Shehu the preferred choice. Agu in bench Scores: Shehu 5-1 Agu Match 16: Shehu giving a special leave, and from the woods Agu appears as DM. Soyalp moved to RM.. Deduction: Agu would most likely have served another time in bench had Shehu played Final scores: Shehu 5-1 Agu Oga, you don't have a case. The opportunities available to both has been single DM, left DM and right DM. Shehu has been indispensable in the club for the most part and has clearly been the preferred choice 5 times out 6. So when people say Shehu benched Agu, they are pretty correct Modified: You are economical with the truth. You want to be caught by the wrist before you will admit(that's if you would give in). No humility Any honest person who looks at the above points will make the right deduction from it.. it's clear like broad daylight forgiveness: |
Shehu was the preferred choice after Er took over as coach is far different from saying Shehu benched Agu in the Turkish league. The latter could be misleading because it is is pretty vague. The point is Shehu has been the preferred choice since Er took over.. gat it?? you are just saying a bunch of nothings. Both players are right-footed. It's just like saying a striker can only flourish if played in the right side of a two-prong attack. And that he has only played once in his career on the left side of a two-prong attack. Are you even thinking? Where did Agu feature for the Super Eagles? Where did Agu feature in his club career besides Bursaspor, was it always on the right side DM? There isn't any SIGNIFICANT difference playing on the right or left of a double pivot DM, especially when comparing two players that are both right-footed. gat it? In fact I can give you 8-10 matches Agu featured on the left side of a double pivot prior to his move to Turkey. It's not new to him. The fact remains Er sees Shehu as a better DM. It is clear like broad daylight. Modified Let me even take you on as regards the period Shehu arrived the Super Lig to the time Le Guen was sacked, 1. Against Alanyaspor, Shehu paired with Agu in a double pivot. Left and Right respectively. 2. Against Besiktas, Agu served a match suspension, Shehu played as a single DM in front of the center backs 3. Against Akhisarspor, Shehu played as a single DM ahead of the center backs. While Agu was benched Question: Why was Agu not the preferred player in that role? 4. Against Malatyaspor, Agu played on the left side of a double pivot. Shehu was benched (Agu the preferred choice clearly). Question: Didn't Agu feature on the left side? 5. Against Galatasaray, Agu was deployed to the left side DM in a 3-4-2-1 formation, Shehu featured as RM Question: Didn't Agu play at the left side here? 6. Against Kayserispor, Shehu deployed to left side pivot DM. Agu benched Question: Why wasn't Agu favored to start in the left side (where he played in the previous game)? 7. Against Osmanlispor, Shehu at left DM, Agu in the right. 8. Against Sivasspor, Shehu serves suspension, Agu in the left side double pivot DM Question: Here we go again. Agu plays in the left side DM. What were you yapping? 9. Against Antalyaspor, Shehu played as RM, Agu in the left side of double pivot DM Question: Here we go again. What are you yapping? 10. Against Kasimpasa, Shehu paired Agu. Shehu at left side of DM, and Agu right The above is the breakdown from the time Shehu arrived at Bursasor till the time Le Guen was sacked. Oga, do you still have a case? The only time Shehu was benched, Agu played on the left side DM. And he also played there several times since Shehu arrived. Isn't it clear that they are somewhat in competition for DM roles? Be a saint bro and admit the truth. forgiveness: |
I don't know why I hate 4-3-3 formation |
i didn't na.. it's this moniker i used to post multiple images.. the ban was already in effect, before I switched to this. safarigirl: |

When was the new coach appointed? Mustafa Er was appointed interim manager on April 10 this year. So we have to start from there because when people said Shehu benched Agu they are speaking about later in the season after Le Guen was fired.. Now the first 2 of the 8 matches I gave you was even prior to the firing of Le Guen. Let's start the analysis: Match 1: Agu played at the left side of the DM pivot while Shehu played as Right Midfielder. Match 2: Shehu played at the left side of the DM (where Agu played the previous week), and Agu was moved to the right side of DM. Match 3: Same as match 2 above Match 4: Agu was clearly benched by Soyalp. Shehu retained his left DM position. Why was Agu not the preferred choice at left DM, a position he has played before? (Refer to Match 1 above). Match 5: Shehu and Soyalp still a prefferred choice, Agu benched. Same question. Why was Agu not the preferred choice at left DM, a position he has played before? Match 6: Shehu moved to RM, and Badu takes his place at left side of DM. What is Agu still doing in bench? Shehu proving indispensable ![]() Match 7: Shehu and Soyalp partnering again as the DMs. Agu is still sitting in bench.. Not even coming in as a sub all this while. Match 8: Shehu giving a special leave, and from the woods Agu appears as DM. Soyalp moved to RM.. From the above, if you can't deduce that Shehu is a preferred DM to Agu by Bursaspor new manager, Er, then you hate the truth. Modified Let me add that Mustafa Er was Bursaspor's assistant manager, when Le Guen was in charge. So both Agu and Shehu was well known to him before he became their interim coach. forgiveness: |
wetin Joebie do sef when dem ban am?.. I've not even posted any web content in a while.. some people for this thread are childish o |
well, we are still yet to see our best XI start. Those games were friendlies and the purpose is to learn from anything that did not click. realpoacher: |
later dem go talk say the first too players na twenty something, because Omidiji was born abroad ![]() tbaba1234: |
John Ogu is a shooter. And Ndidi can also shoot from afar on a good day. Having both as our double pivot can be an asset, considering they are naturally left-footed and right-footed, respectively. Mikel as AM and Iwobi as a false 9. That's another good thing to think about. realpoacher: |
Post 2: Shehu was given a special leave in match 8, which is the reason for his absence. Check this out:

kai who is the bigger liar, calling others liars. eh forgiveness I present to you the last 8 matches Bursaspor was involved in, in that order, and let's see what the progressive change of formations mean as regards Shehu and Agu Post 1:
