Have you been queued for an interview or you were only recommended for interview? if the latter is the case I pray the decision is over-ruled. That's what happened in my case. Also if you were recommended for interview, by who? CIO or LVO? Note your secondary office could recommend interview, in this case, your primary office could wave it and just end up directing DRD to request ADR to address the concerns. GCMS notes have a 3 week lag, what you have seen may not be the most recent activity on your file. Email LVO requesting status of your application, be polite about it.

Now to answer your questions.
1) Yes be proactive about it, since it is something an ADR could fix. dont wait. Provide as much incontrovertible evidence as possible. Don't be assuming, cross your t's and dot your i's.

2) Yes. Although I didnt. but unsolicited CSE's are not uncommon in this journey. A couple of folks, have done so. as a matter of fact, I have advised a friend mine to do so tomorrow, after we analysed his GCMS and discovered they VO had concerns over something extra documentation would fix.

If you have already been slated for the interview, I think you should wait for a date.

Thanks for this. LVO recommended the interview but Accra is yet to contact me or fix a date. LVO said file has been transferred to Accra. I was surprised when LVO didn't even ask for ADR. I thought they would!

Just like Ethelia said , I think you should raise an LOE stating clearly that you knew getting more supporting documents might be tough therefore you did not claim points for it. And a clear description of the issue.
I do not think you should be worried, okay let me be realistic I am aware you will be worried but then, try raise a CSE first and lets see how it goes.

it was even a part time job, CIC said they don't even take part time job, anyway, I have email correspondence between me and the GM of the company in which the Chairman was clearly copied. I hope CSE will allow me upload all this many docs

He/She seems more concerned about the part time job (which you are not claiming points for). Over sari London people . I'd say raise a CSE and submit the additional documents you have for the 3 years job (try to also include something that shows payment e.g pay slips/stubs,bank statements, etc.) and also include an LOE expressly stating that you are not claiming points for the part time job which is why you have not submitted documents for it.

I don't even know the difference between both. All I know is that I saw the comment under "Note 1" towards the end of the gcms note.

Good day house, so my gcms note came today and VO made a note about his concerns about my experience which I believe was what prompted an interview.

First of all, For the job I did with a small company for 3 yrs, he said I didn't submit Contract and payslip (cos I only submitted a reference letter, I felt this was the standard just to keep it simple, although I have the contracts but no payslip cos I was paid in cash)

Secondly, he mentioned that I didn't submit reference letter or proof of salary payment for a part time consultancy job related to my NOC that I did with a company from 2016 to 2017. I am not gaining point for it, so I only mentioned it in personal history. (Although I was paid by cash and bank transfer for the job). I have email correspondence between me and the GM since I worked directly under him, no offer letter, no reference. I was surprised when he said I was still working with the company when I clearly stated in my application that I worked from 2016 to 2017 and stopped way before I submitted my application.

lastly, he said the company is listed in a business directory online but has no website

My questions..
(1) Since I got to know about the VO's concern now through the gcms note, can I raise a CSE and submit the documents and clearly explain the situation or should I wait to have the interview (Accra hasn't given me a date)

(2) Has anyone submitted additional documents without the VO's request after checking his OR her GCMS note?

If the RC No. of both companies are different, then it is two different companies.
What this means is that you didn't start working in the 2nd company in 2011.(Hmmm....i hope this is not taken as misrepresentation.)
I don't know what CAC document the company has presently.
Check to see if it is evidence of change of name or evidence of Registration.
Just explain accordingly.
Normally when a company changes from Plc to Ltd, the RC No. is not suppose to change.
If a company changes its name, the RC No. will remain the same.
Your explanation should be based on what documents you have.
In addition to either evidence of registration or change of name documents, the Board Resolution where the directors agreed to change the name of the company or re - register it for a reason should be given to you. That will show that, it is the same alter ego.
Meanwhile, there is what is called re - registration, i don't think that is what applies here.

wow, this feels somehow. so are you telling me I could have collected 2 different reference letters from the same company because they re-registered and upgraded their CAC Registration. This never occurred to me while filling the ITA and submitting my application. I have ordered GCMS note though. thanks

Since you didn't do a LOE. You will do the explaining orally.
Assuming Accra requests for CAC documents of the company you work for.
You take the evidence of registration which definitely is in the old name. You also go along with the evidence of change of name registered at CAC. This will show that, the name of the company changed (Let me not bore you with the names of the forms). And then you explain.

OK thanks. But I don't know much about this company registration thing. the RC number of both names are different. With CAC, does it fall under " Change of name or new Company registration? The current name of the company is similar to the old one, only additional words and "Limited" is added to the old name.

Have they given you an interview date and did they tell you why you require an interview? This does not seem like misrepresentation to me. But does the company have online presence? If they do, won’t it show that the name changed?

It is a small company, no website but they are listed on some other website. if you Google Search it, you will find it online.

Good day all, please i have a question and I would like to know if anyone has ever been in my shoe.

LVO told me last month that my file has been transferred to Accra and that Accra will contact me for interview.

I worked with a small company from 2011 to 2014, when I joined the company in 2011, they were using a registered business name but they later changed and upgraded the name to "Limited" in 2013. For example "Divine motors" now changed to "Divine motors & haulage limited" When I got reference letter last year from the company, it wasn't stated in the letter that the company used an old name. The company wrote I worked with "Divine motors & haulage Limited" from 2011 to 2014

Also, while I wrote my work history, I didn't use the old name, I just wrote that I work with the company from 2011 to 2014 using the company's limited name because I felt it was same company.

I didn't write this in LOE too.

I understand Accra now ask for CAC docs from some people. What do u think will happen if they see that it was registered as limited in 2013 even when my Reference letter said i worked with them from 2011 to 2014. Is this "misrepresentation". I need your inputs Pls. thanks
