CelebritiesElvina Ibru Speaks: How I Was Raped And The Victimisation That Follows by joefazee(op): 8:42am On Apr 25, 2018
The menace of "Rape" in the Nigerian Society has over the years crippled the lives of many, invariably ruined the future of several promising youngsters, and in some cases led to victimisation, depression, isolation and suicidal thoughts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLAAbkzJuwI More stories at https:///XE2Sjz

Amongst many other victims of this horrible experience is Mrs. Elvina Ibru (Actress, scriptwriter and entrepreneur; Elvina Ibru. The eleventh child of late business icon, Olorogun Michael Ibru) who recently broke her silence on the life-sucking venom "Rape".

"I have been raped before!" Elvina said in her interview with inside Naija Tv crew. "It happened at my boyfriend's house when some armed robbers barged in and the incident happened". She narrated.

Life as they say, has different strokes for different folks. The foremost entrepreneur explained her ordeal and devastating aftermath experience of rape which happened a while back. In the interview of about 15min with Inside Naija Tv, she shared her experience and proffered possible ways of overcoming societal victimization and traumatic events experienced by rape victims afterwards.

Elvina further narrated the victimization she faced and how her moral dignity was questioned by many. "A nurse at the hospital even asked what I was wearing when the incident happened; and in our society, women that have been raped are been castigated rather than supported" she concluded.

In the later part of her interview, Elvina rekindled the courage of rape victims saying: "It is not your fault in any capacity. If you want to wear a skimpy dress or walk naked in the front of any man, if you don't want to be touched, you don't want to be touched! it's your prerogative!"

She further charged victims of this unfortunate incident saying, "If you make it a big deal, it'll swallow up your life so, brush yourself up! If you need help, come to women like me, I will support you; if it is a person you want to put away, I will help you put that person away she concluded.

EducationMushin To Unilag's Number 1 by joefazee(op): 11:24pm On Apr 23, 2018
When a man rises from nothing to stardom, this is indeed commendable. Here's the story of Roy Layinde Olatunbosun who grew from the rustic environ of MUSHIN Lagos state to becoming the overall best graduating student of the University of Lagos 2016/2017 academic set.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEBvkMbdxWs

The chemical engineering graduate badged a smashing record of 4:97 Cummulative Grade point average (CGPA) which automatically placed him at the very top and few miles ahead of his counterparts.

"When I gained admission into the University in 2012, I didn't plan on becoming the best graduating student as i thought I was only a local champion "he said in his interview with inside Naija Tv crew. He further added that "the street of MUSHIN is known for its indecency and violence but I only managed to pull through".

Owing to the fact that the young champion lived most of his life on the street of mushin; one of the razz and rugged areas of Lagos state labeled for different atrocious act over the years, Roy Olatunbosun had refused to let the lowly background terminate his ambition of attaining stardom.

"All I had worked and hoped for was to graduate with first class and not best graduating student" Roy said. He also pointed out that he wasn't desperate for grade saying "I was never desperate for grade and I think the more desperate you're for grade, the lesser you achieve" he quoted.

The young scholar also narrated how he had to sacrifice his social life while in pursuit of his outstanding result. He said "I had to skip most of the parties and deprived myself of other social activities".

In the concluding part of his interview with inside Naija Tv crew, he pointed out few distractive social conundrum that tend to discourage young scholars out there; ranging from the unreal flamboyant lifestyle of some of the youths on social media to internet fraud popular known as "yahoo yahoo".

Roy in his opinion also said, Nigerian government doesn't encourage people with academical acumen and the only thing that can change the Nation and empower young scholars is entrepreneurship. The polymath also said, "in five years time, I see myself bagging my PHd degree and engaging fully in entrepreneurship".

ProgrammingIn Few Years To Come, Indian Will Start Purchasing Software From Nigeria by joefazee(op): 10:23am On Jul 08, 2013
Years ago the Nigeria I.T system was very static and slow, and i think that was due to lack of information because internet connection used to be very expensive but thank God for the new shift everyone now can access internet on the go.

With access to information systems, Nigerians are becoming more creative each day by day. Yesterday i stumbled upon an application (https:///newsbasketapp) that just replaced my usage of google news. I love to read all headlines in one domain so i was so addicted to google news.

Innovative applications is pouring out of the creative mind of Nigerians and i think soon india will start buying from us. @freefazee

ProgrammingRe: Confused About Learning C# by joefazee(m): 11:46am On Sep 02, 2011
No programming knowledge is a waste, i think the most important thing in programming is not the language but your approach to problem solving, so all you need is strong understanding of algorithm, how to convert real word problem into an equation and try to solve it in any language of your choice.

every programming language has something in common like loop, dynamic/static typing, function/method, main/no main etc. choose a language of your choice, don`t follow language politics. if you are planning to run your application any multiple platform then stick to something like Java, Python, PHP even the almighty C++/C. but if you want to spend the rest if your life writing for Windows then .NET family is the only way. if you love apple fancy OS, objective-C will kick your ass for a while but you will love it.

Get the right tool for the right project.

Happy coding

WebmastersDjnago - Python by joefazee(op): 11:34am On Sep 02, 2011
hi, i love PHP and Codeigniter framework, though sometime i feel like playing with Yii, but now i have a better option, Python has been my demon weapon for cracking down web application using BT4 but i think the guy can be used for something more profitable like web development so i`m in django now.

django is almost like RoR if not simpler. if you have a complex project that require django (Python) or PHP (Codeigniter), you can call me or email me but don`t ask me to write form mailer or some Photo uploading programme because you can download such from the web.

my email is me at abahjoseph.com or checkout my small website at http://www.abahjoseph.com, my site is running on PyroCMS which is based on CI so nothing special.

ProgrammingRe: Which Php Framework Do You Use? by joefazee(m): 2:58pm On Jul 19, 2011
i`m used Codeigniter for http://matrixsms.net (though some Python code running at the background) and some real big intranet app but i`m planning to use Yii for my next project, codeigniter is fast and flexible but the PHP 4 support bring about loading classes you don`t use. if you need something simple like CI, check Kohana or FuelPHP http://fuelphp.com/ (Require PHP 5.3).

Zend naming pattern is scaring and very hard to memorize but you can copy some of the classes from Zend and use with other framework, i love the Access control class in Zend and i ported it to Codeigniter. just play around, framework is just group of classes, i mix it to do my job. Nothing special about any framework, no politic
