Even the java designer will not say this. are you just waking up from sleep? have you used photoshop, dreamweaver, 3D Max etc before? that is C/C++.

If you want to become a real programmer, first: learn how to think logical, learn how to try and fail and try again, then you can ask for help, if we provid you the scripts that does the job, does that makes you a programmer? the school project is provided to test your skills for the years you spent in school so try something out.

Remember: you have to keep track of the ones you have shown, like for today, how often a particular content has been shown or how many users has answered a particular question etc, and you can even decide not to show a question to more than 1 user within an interval.

I think i made an error in my above post, please specify your programming language, if you are a java programmer, give me the book name or the level. e.g for beginner, on networking, on OOP, on design pattern etc, PLEASE DON`T JUST ASK FOR EVERY THING or you come with DVD to copy

Yee, Java is a good one, try web based that run from the web and can perform task from the phone, just like have an API hosted on the web and phones connect to it, that means, any phone that can access the internet can likely talk to your application. but if you are thinking of only Bluetooth chat, then Java is the way. at least you will have wider usage more than PythonS60 for now.

As a starting programmer you need a lot of time and dedication because time is coming that the whole programming life will look frustrating, you need to understand where you are going, every programmer has area of specialization like some are good in GUI library, some are good in Algorithm, some are just to implement both the algorithm and libraries, so ask yourself, WHAT IS MY TARGETED AREA?, i have friends that are just into virri and engine writing.

Starting as a V.B programmer, to me is not a good idea, V.B teaches bad programming practice and you are always a visitor on uni* environment, real programmer must understand Uni*, windows programming is all about knowing how to call dll and manipulate the registry, place window in the scream etc, but as a programmer, you must understand some low level idea like memory management, addressing etc. my suggedtion is
Python or PHP, then C, then C++ or Java etc
Remember, C is still the biggest boss, don`t listen to advice not to learn C, if you want to work close to the CPU, understand C and Assembly, though C++ implemented a lot from C, you don`t need OOP to perform some speedy task.
