Responsibility/Duties:
1. Ensure that targeted profit margins for each project milestones are achieved. This should be done through very strict project monitoring programs.
Target profit is defined as stated BOQ profit plus 15% savings on projected material wastages on project site.
2. Ensure that accurate and reliable Bills of Quantities and Budget are prepared for all projects and approved by relevant authority.
3. Ensure that all materials required on project site are made available timely. This includes the following steps which must be affected on time.
Establish re-order levels for all frequently used materials for each site.
Request must be made early to allow sufficient time for approval and ordering and timely delivery of material to site.
Monthly stock position must be taken and figures obtained included in monthly project status report.
Any issue(s) that could cause a delay in the ordering process must be reported to the GM or MD.

4. Ensure that all requests for payment and reimbursement are properly vetted before presentation for approval for payment.
The following procedures must be followed for payment approval.
Request from site Engineers must be accompanied by a signed job completion certificate. Request must be vetted and passed on for approval without delay. Engineers must not be allowed to be idle in the office waiting for payment approval. All disagreement must be resolved within the hour and request approved or rejected.

5. Prepare and submit at agreed times the following Reports:
1. Valuation Report (Monthly)
2. Project Financial Report status – This report will contain information on end of period status report, cost/budget performance and cost projection for the next period- (Fortnightly). Site Inventory position must be reported for the end of month report.
3. Material cost Survey update report (Monthly)
A report is deemed late not when submitted 24hrs after the due date. Poorly reports e.g., reports with inaccurate data and submissions will be penalized.

Ambrose Omordion, the Chief Operating Officer, InvestData Ltd., attributed the market pullback to profit taking embarked by some smart investors.

Mr Omordion said the smart money that pushed the market up with expectations that the opposition would win the presidential election were leaving the market.

Dangote Flour followed with a gain of N1 to close at N12.05, while Oando gained 65k to close at N7.25 per share.

Air Services added 60k to close at N7.05, while Africa Prudential increased by 44k to close at N4.84 per share.

A breakdown of the activity chart indicates that the volume of shares traded rose by 46.57 per cent with an exchange of 322.18 million shares worth N2.43 billion in 4,066 deals.

This was against 219.81 million shares valued at N5.55 billion transacted in 2,999 deals on Monday.

Sunu Assurances recorded the highest volume of activity, trading 50.81 million shares worth N10.16 million.

Access Bank traded 32.30 million shares valued at N203.09 million, while Diamond Bank sold 28.60 million shares worth N70.10 million.

United Bank for Africa accounted for 19.02 million shares valued at N153.66 million, while Guaranty Trust Bank sold 17.77 million shares worth N677.66 million.

Mireia Boya, a Catalan lawmaker from the pro-independence Popular Unity Candidacy (CUP) party, said a declaration of independence would follow a parliamentary session on Monday to evaluate the results of the Oct. 1 vote to break away. “We know that there may be disbarments, arrests … But we are prepared, and in no case will it be stopped,” she said on Twitter. Puigdemont told the BBC he would ask the region’s parliament to declare independence following the referendum, which Spain’s government and constitutional court say was illegal and in which only a minority of Catalans voted. In a televised address on Wednesday night, Puigdemont said: “This moment calls for mediation.
