The Presidency on Tuesday confirmed the newspaper advertisements for the sale of two presidential aircraft, a Falcon 7x executive jet and Hawker 4000.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, made this known in a statement in Abuja.

Shehu stated that the advertisements were duly authorised by the Presidency.

According to him, this is in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari that aircraft in the presidential air fleet be reduced to cut cost.

He said that “when he (President Buhari) campaigned to become President, then being APC candidate Muhammadu Buhari, he promised to look at the presidential air fleet with a view to cutting down on waste.”

“His directive to a government committee on this assignment is that he will like to see a compact and reliable aircraft for the safe airlift of government officials that go on special missions.

This exercise is by no means complete. I am sure the Commander of Presidential air fleet will any time from now, call you to a ceremony at which he will hand over some aircraft to the Air Force for their operations,’’ he added.
The Presidential Aircraft Fleet contains 10 aircraft.

They are Boeing Business Jet (Boeing 737-800 or AirForce One), one Gulfstream 550, one Gulfstream V (Gulfstream 500) and two Falcons 7X.

Others are one Hawker Sidley 4000, two AgustaWestland AW 139 helicopters and twoAgustaWestland AW 101 helicopter.

In 2013 my mum told me I needed deliverance because I refused to act like a “christian” she took me to a pastor of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) he said I will do a retreat with him for one month so i went back home to pack my stuff.

This man would always enter my room without knocking. His hands would linger around my breasts when he hugs me…I was uncomfortable but i tried to bring my “mind out of the gutter”.

We used to have night prayers and he would prolong the prayers till his heavily pregnant wife got tired and he’l encourage her to go to bed and rest…once she leaves he starts to tell me how much he loves me and how I don’t need deliverance because there is nothing wrong with me,and how i am a nice girl who her parents misunderstood.

I was not all that surprised and i tried to take advantage of the situation. I would miss prayers or evening service because i knew he wont do anything about it.

But then his wife started to notice that i had too much freedom.and what surprised me was that he did not seem to care…he would try to kiss me when his wife was just one room away…he would wink at me when her back was turned…he would hold my hand at the back seat of the car when we are returning from night vigil. He was like a lovestruck teenager.

I began to avoid him and it made him more desperate…one time he asked if i was avoiding him and I made him know i did not like what he was doing and he told me if i want his P.A could arrange for us to have a quiet time somewhere.

I had to tell the Assistant pastor all that was going on. I still recall the tears and the look of unbelief on his face that night. The assistant did nothing about it…but advised me to pack my stuff and leave before things get out of hand. But I couldn’t leave because the “retreat” was not over.

One night at the night vigil at OFM headquarters in Auchi i went to confide in a friend…and my father’s driver overhead everything and he told my dad once we returned to Abuja.

The sad part about it all was that my parents called the pastor and his wife to ask them…instead of me. And they heaped it all on me. They said i have been misbehaving because I am tired of the “retreat” and i sleep during prayers, I don’t go to the evening services and i have come up with accusations because i want to go.

The good thing was that I moved back home.

Till today I wonder what sort of brains the pastor’s wife had in her head.

As the controversy surrounding the alleged padding of the 2016 budget continues, a member of the
House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee on Legislative Compliance, Abiodun Olasupo, says they were elected to pad the budget as it is their constitutional responsibility to pad the budget. According to the Nation, Olasupo said this while inspecting some projects within his constituency in Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State yesterday August 10th.

“If you look at the Nigeria Constitution, what Honourable AbdulMuminin Jibrin refer to as padding is tantamount to what the constitution defines as the function of a member of House of Representative because the constitution guarantees the three major function of making law, appropriation, and over sight. In appropriation it is either for us to add, subtract or change and what Hon Jibrin has been trying to say is that we are changing, inserting and adding, so if that is what he calls padding then that is what the constitution expects the house of representative to do. In my own opinion been an active member during the budget defence, I was involved in the budgeting system of up to six ministries, I participated in FERMA, NAVY, health institutions, governmental agencies and a whole lot of them. The entire budgeting system make it possible that if you are elected as a member of national assembly and you are not ready to do what Muminin Jibrin calls padding then you are a failure, because basically the budget that is been brought to the national assembly does not reflect the principle of federal character as guaranteed by the constitution” he said

Factional chairman of APC in Kano State, Hussaini Mairiga, has described President Buhari as a total failure and a disappointment to Nigerians. According to Vanguard, Maigira said this while speaking to newsmen in the state yesterday August 8th.

“From the looks of things, President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power.” he said
According to Maigira, one year after assuming office, President Buhari and his cabinet members have nothing to show for it. He said hunger and starvation is prevalent in Nigeria like never before as most families cannot feed three times a day. He lamented that while a bag of rice now sold for N16, 000, prices of other essentials commodities had tripled. Mairiga accused Presidnt Buhari’s ministers and aides of lying to him about the true state of Nigeria.

The New York Post has published photos of Melania Trump, wife of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump posing nude in a photo spread for a now-defunct French men’s magazine.
The Slovenian-born model, then 25 years old and known by her professional moniker Melania K, did the steamy photo session in Manhattan in 1995, according to Alé de Basse­ville, the French photographer who shot the sexy photos.

The images, some rarely seen and others never published, were obtained exclusively by The Post.

The bombshell photos show Melania wearing nothing but high heels and pouting for the camera, in a series of images shot from the front, the back and the side.

“Melania was super-great and a fantastic personality and she was very kind with me,” de Basseville told The Post, adding the former model never once felt uncomfortable posing for the nude pictures.

Yesterday, Yeni Şafak, a newspaper in Turkey published an article containing sensational claims about the recent coup in Turkey.

The article which cited anonymous sources claimed General John F. Campbella former U.S. commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), a NATO-led security mission in Afghanistan, was the organizer of the July 15 military coup attempt in Turkey.

The article also pointed fingers at Nigerian bank UBA within the alleged plot.

The bank has now responded with the following brief but decisive statement;

UBA is aware of the on-going and spurious media speculation linking our institution to recent events in Turkey. In light of this we believe it is necessary to categorically state that UBA has no involvement in or connection to these accusations, which are clearly false.

UK National Crime Agency has released a photos of 10 alleged con-artists wanted in relation to fraud cases across Britain. The album was compiled ahead of fresh figures that are expected to reveal the huge scale of fraud in the UK. The details of the alleged criminals which has been published by the NCA and the City of London Police, were shared in the hope of arresting those wanted in connection with dozens of crimes nationwide.

Among these suspected fraudsters is 41-year-old Nigerian Bayo Lawrence Anoworin. He is wanted by Lincolnshire Police over an alleged scam by a gang that stole more than £12million from NHS Trusts in the UK and Guernsey between January 2011 and July 2012.

“The annual losses to the UK from fraud are estimated to be more than £190 billion. Behind this headline figure lie the actions of criminals like the wanted fraudsters highlighted in this appeal, who have caused distress and loss to people and businesses up and down the country. Law enforcement cannot tackle this problem alone. It is only by working together, individuals, law enforcement, Government and the private sector that we can protect the UK against fraud. The trial of a former Interior Minister, Abba Moro, before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court Abuja began on Wednesday, June 8th 2016 with the presentation of the first prosecution witness, David Shikfu Parradang, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Paradang, a retired Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS while being led in evidence by counsel to EFCC, Aliyu M. Yusuf, told the court that he was never aware of the exercise.

He stated that, on September 9th, 2013, his attention was drawn to a publication in one of the dailies “Sunday Trust” regarding a recruitment exercise purportedly going on in Nigerian Immigration Service.

ew days ago, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, paid a visit to footballer, Obafemi Martins, at his home. Obafemi shared a video from the Ooni’s visit on his IG page. Over the weekend, Nigerian footballer Obafemi Martins received a visit from His Royal Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at his home in Lagos State. Obafemi shared a video of the Yoruba Monarch seated in his home during the visit and Nigerians seem to have an issue with this. 14 year old Amina Ibrahim who suffered severe burns after allegedly taking popular antibiotics, Septin, has died. Amina had gone to a chemist to buy medications when she was feeling ill and when she got there, she met the 19 year old son of the pharmacist who prescribed the antibiotics for her. She took the drug and immediately started reacting to it. Within an hour, she suffered sever burns on her face and neck. She was later diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a “rare, serious disorder of skin and mucous membranes that is usually caused from reaction to a medication or an infection.

Amina died at the Mohammed Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital in Kano State.

According to Okon, when more than 160 million Nigerians are complaining in one ear, how wouldn’t the ear have problems? Lol. A press statement has been released by the Presidency concerning a 10-day vacation President Buhari is about to undertake, to enable him to rest and also see an E.N.T (Ear. Nose. Throat) Specialist in London. The statement reads,

President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest. During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.
