The palace is called IDUNGARAN meaning “palace built on pepper farm” Oba Ado and the Warriors from Benin together with the early Bini’s settlers in Eko and the Awori people settled in the Southern part of Eko called “Isale Eko”. “Isale literally means bottom “. [s]Yoruba people does't belong to Yoruba people, but the leaders from traditional to political are and have always been Yoruba, almost the whole of today's Lagos state was part of the western region/Yorubaland including all the industrial estates responsible for industrial Lagos were established by Awolowo in the old western region from Apapa to Ikeja and Ikorodu, streets are nearly all Yoruba named, food and culture remains Yoruba and Yoruba people even get to deport ibo miscreants and nuisance back to iboland and close down your 2x2 and markets in Lagos at will.

I also wonder why Lagos is part of Odua group, part of the SW and even using your money to develop the SW as shown in the above pic.

Btw, when you finally get your Biafra, are you going to attache or join Lagos to Biafra or any other region in Nigeria? I just wonder why you people try too hard to never make any damn sense. grin grin

My friend you are not making sense at all I am telling you the owner of the soil and you are showing me people posing in a picture and telling me about awolowo, when was awolowo born, what does he know about the land called Lagos today?? Read carefully and know the truth that is glaring..

The Oba of Benin was head of the Benin-Empire which are present day Western, Southern and Eastern modern- day Nigeria.

Onitsha Mmili was known as Ado N'Idu by migrants who departed from the vicinity of the Kingdom of Benin near the far western portion of Igboland (near what is now Agbor), after a violent dispute with the Oba of Benin that can be tentatively dated to the early 1500s.[5] These migrants traveled eastward through what is now Western Igboland and various towns also called "Onitsha", for example Onicha-Ugbo, "farmland-Onitsha". Folklore has it that, Onitsha was founded by one of the sons of Chima, the founder of Issele-Uku kingdom in western Igboland. Chima, a prince of the ancient Benin kingdom emigrated, settled and founded what is now known as Issele-Uku in Aniocha North Local Government Area. The eldest son of Chima eventually emigrated across the Niger River to establish the Onitsha community.

After their arrival on the east bank (Onicha-mmili, "Onitsha-on-water", see above), the community gradually became a unitary kingdom, evolving from a loosely organized group of "royal" villages to encompass "non-royal" villages comprising Igala settlers, and the native Igbos to form a more centralized entity.[6] Eze Aroli was apparently the first genuinely powerful Obi of Onitsha, the ruler of the city.[7]
