How did he earn it if GWR never recognized it? Did you even read the post at all?
He earned it in the heart of men.
Is there a law that forbid exploit without having it in GWR?

Throwback:
The OP has raised salient points.

Anyone can always exceed the past records in the future.

What is informative is that despite the well publicised achievement of Tunde Onakoya, the OP says it was never in the records history of GWR.

That deserves some answers from both Tunde Onakoya and GWR.
Was there even anywhere Tunde mentioned GWR during his chess marathon game?
Or has he received any award for breaking GWR in chess anywhere?

Like Pelumi Nubi, can't someone just do a big deal of good without having the record in the GWR?

Not as if GWR will even pay them any money o

It a nice development if they can do it because this will make us waste money on election and we make us choose right , 8years is far and after ur years they still want to put another successors when leaving office question they past ,
And the money we don't want to waste to conduct another election, the incumbent will waste it anyhow since he knows he's not coming back.

This is very commendable from the national assembly, TINUBU till 2033
So Tinubu made us believed Jonthan was seeking for tenure extension by proposing six years single term, he also incited people to stage protests against subsidy, the very thing he's doing now.
But see the judgement of God coming swifly.
If he likes he can stay there till eternity, but the more years he rules, the more useless he becomes.

I told my colleagues in the office prior to the election that a vote for him is a vote for unemployment and more problems.

They called me names, now many of them can't afford to come to the office.

Some have even lean down badly,no good food as a result of financial stress (I feel for them).

The ones that have the strength are tongue tied and quiet.

But in all,the thing is affecting everyone but some saw it earlier, and chose the the right path.

What a mess he has led into.

We cried, we yelled, we shouted; 'this is a nation entering into captive of the might". They said no, he has a midas's touch, he's a master strategit, a man of exploit.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Countries With The Largest Gross Domestic Product (GDP) 2024 by Johncuppa(m): 5:02am On Jul 14
Gerrard59:

Nominal looks at goods and services transacted in a country within a given year. PPP looks at the true buying power of residents/citizens in each country. PPP is usually hard to compute. Nominal is subjected to international foreign exchanges. So, if you have a weak currency compared to the dollar, your nominal GDP will fall. But PPP tells the true picture of the economy.
Thank you.

Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Removal Achieved Nothing – NANS Tells Tinubu by Johncuppa(m): 4:35pm On Jul 13
All Asiwaju used his entire life to build went down in less than a year.
Aregbesola, Ojodu, Osinbajo, Makinde, Dapo Abiodun knew he was empty, except that some of them had no choice because of his money bag victory at the primary.

Yorubas will say "Iku ya'ju esin".
Awolowo and Abiola didn't make it, and people still hold them in high esteem. Asiwaju as a champion didn't leave the field when the ovation was loudest, and everyone is throwing whatever it is to him everyday.

It is post election loss trauma, but it seems it has aggravated into chronic psychiatric disorders
These people have reasons to have bitterness.
All these while we've foisted leaders on them, it has been from one Failure to another. We may all be here defending Asiwaju, but right within us, we never expected Asiwaju will stoop so low, that Buhari is now becoming a better one.

It's just because nairaland is a faceless forum, Toyin Abraham and co. are now regretting their supports for him.

Don't trust this northerners
Buhari has always wanted anything but Tinubu, except that he couldn't get it done.
That's why Tinubu bought APC tickets for many because he taught Buhari would support Yemi Osinbajo

Buhari may be weakling, but he won't ground the nation this way

Far from it.. most of those criticizing your wack songs are far away from their homes to make sure things go smoothly for people like Eedris.

It's easy to sit down and criticize.. when faced with the challenge to fix things, what can you do?. Can you think critically or outside the box in extremely difficult situations?.
Talk is cheap.

Some of you can't even manage your small music groups of less than 5 artistes but expect the President of a country with over 230 million people to perform magic overnight with the spate of corruption and decay already in the system.
😂 It's interesting it's becoming clear to everyone Asiwaju was over hyped.

Over 25% of his 4 years you called overnight, when exactly will the day of renewed hope break, dakun?

IMF told that man to float the naira, he hurriedly carried out and implemented the policy.

Now just look at the repercussions. 😡 Not only are they smuggling petrol out, they are also smuggling foodstuffs out of the country.

What did this man gain now from subsidy is gone and float of currency? Absolutely nothing.

The more things change, the more they remain the same.
It's a no brainer, they never thought of the aftermath. Anybody can run an ambition, but, without vision, policies run on trial and error.

How did the high IQ people come to think Tinubu is the answer to this country's problems? Please tell me.
I do not disagree one can support a candidate for loving him for no reason and thus vote for him, but to think you have brain and still believe Asiwaju will profer solution to Nigerai's problems is beyond my comprehension.

Please, if you don't mind, school me. I really want to learn

You want me to believe that PBAT does not envisage what he wants.
Well I find that ridiculous.
I'm sure every appointment comes with a portfolio and specific job functions prepared and handed to them. It might be streamlined or ambiguous.
Nigeria's problems as at today are in the policies made by this administration.
And Tinubu is solely responsible for any policy biting on Nigerians.
It is not too difficult to change any appointment you made that is not meant to be.
People didn't vote for ministers or economy recovery team, they voted in Mr President.
Asiwaju should display his ingenuity they claimed he used to build Lagos

A very trial and error economic team.
You can't give what you don't have. That's a fact.
It's only in Nigeria that people with good resumes from the private sector can't offer much when they are brought into government funded institutions to bring about that needed expertise knowledge and positive turnaround.
You cannot blame those people.
How can you bring in people to come and achieve for you something you cannot envisage yourself?
If you cannot be bold to discuss what you want, you cannot expect others to help you build it.
What was the vision? what was the plan?

There was no empirical evidence that Tinubu would perform.

He avoided every debate and interview to share his plans and the few times he made attempts, he showed signs of incoherence.

Does this person look ok to you?
It's really pathetic.
We asked this question again and again, only for them to say "when he gets there".
As in, leading a whole more than 200 millions people on a trial and error.
