The difference between faith and religion is very simple.
Religion fights for her god while faith trust and allows God to fight for Himself.
Any God that needs your assistance to remain God is an idol you need to be delivered from.

Any form of religion that takes away humanity is nothing before the loving God who created man in His image and likeness.
If you kill anybody in the name of religion, you are nothing but an animal in a human skin. Calling you an idiot is just promoting and glorifying you.
God Almighty hate’s the taking away of another man’s life and you will account for it because you did not and can not create it.

I was thinking by now the pictures of the Christian girl that was murdered by some Muslim guys will be trending and people asking for Justice but as usual, that will not happen.

Christians are only interested in scandals concerning their Pastors.

We can't exist as a country when you show a total disrespect for the way others choose to worship.

I run a foundation and over 67% of the children on scholarship under the foundation are non Christians.

We have zero interest in the religion of anyone because that's not what defines our humanity. You had no choice on what religion to be born into just like a child born into a family, whose parents are native doctors.

He or she has the right to live freely amongst people, enjoying all other privileges accorded every other citizen of the country.

The are 5 pillars of truths which the Sharia seeks to preserve.

� The right to practice religion.

� The protection of life.

� The safeguarding of the mind or intellect.

� The preservation of honour and family.

� The sanctity of wealth property.

(Quran 5:32) says

"We ordained ...that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind.”

None of the clauses above was committed by the girl under Islamic laws.

Why was she murdered?

The Muslim community has to condemn this inhumane act and I hope those involved will rot in jail.

In the last days, God isn't just using those who are available, He is using those that are available and PREPARED

Most times we just envy people who are enjoying certain things because we feel they don't deserve those things as much as we do, but we forget to ask ourselves if we can handle the things they are handling

Can you handle fame?
Can you handle wealth?
Can you handle a congregation of five thousand people as a preacher?
How will you treat people when God gives you a name that comes with popularity?
Can you handle an overwhelming measure of God's anointing?

Some of us ask for things from God just to prove a point to people, not to use it for His purpose

God is not afraid of blessing you extravagantly, He is simply concerned about your capacity to handle His blessings

Prophet Elisha wanting to bless a widow told her to go borrow vessels and borrow as much as possible - that was a call for preparedness

In this Kingdom, being prepared to have something is more important to being desperate to have it

"The heir, as long as is a child is not different from servants. He is kept under tutors and governor's until the time appointed of the father." -Galatians 4:1

You want to be a global figure but your capacity is for a small community, God will be killing you by putting you on global platforms. God loves you too much to kill you

There are things you will never get no matter how much you fast and pray, you only get them by being prepared for them

To be prepared is to be willing and READY emotionally, physically and spiritually to take up a task

After you are done praying and fasting for your destiny then do the following:

*Go to school if you are trusting God to go global

*Receive mentorship and guidance from people that have gone ahead of you in the area of your interest

*Serve God and serve people who have the opportunities you're looking for

*Be humble and good to people, they are mostly the answer to your prayers

*Read books and ask relevant questions

*Don't let your weaknesses be a distraction to your strengths

Yesterday, I was getting depressed and I asked God to help me out……
My question, dear Lord, please what can I do to make people that I have assisted and loved to reciprocate my good gesture by loving me back?
The Lord answered and said, "I will give an answer to your questions when I experience what you are expecting from the same set of people”
Dearly beloved, don’t kill your self trying to get wicked people to reciprocate your love, even if you die for some people, they will still ask why you did not die on a week day.
I have lost many good friends who died trying to please people that JESUS himself could never please.
RELAX AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE WITH A FEW FRIENDS INSTEAD OF A THOUSAND FRIENDNEMIS.

During our days, WAEC was a near test of knowledge. We wore pocketless shorts and perforated singlets to exam halls in St Charles Special Science School. We knew those that would clinch 9A, and those that would depend on luck. But WAEC is no longer what it used to be. Nigeria has happened to WAEC.

I met 2 young people last year. Both were in SS 3. Unfortunately, both cannot write 2 readable sentences. One could hardly read. I wondered how they made it so far.

When their WAEC result was out, to my surprise, they cleared their papers. To give them the benefits of the doubt, I asked for their grade in the English language. The one that could not read got a B in English.

Not wishing them ill, but something was missing. The system failed it there. Years ago, this chap cannot make up to 3 Credits in WAEC. I consoled myself with these words: the university will be the gatekeeper. They can’t beat the system all the time.

But I overestimated the system. I don't know the latest.

2 weeks ago, at a NIN center, a man in his mid-50s walked into the center with his daughter. The man looked worn out, and the daughter wasn’t more than 19. They wanted to register for JAMB. The girl didn’t know the course she would study at the University. The owner of the center asked if she did Arts or Sciences, and chose a course for her.

He told the man that he could secure an admission for the girl in the almighty UNN. He explained that during finger-print capturing, the girl should put her thumbs, the person who would sit for the exams would complete the remaining 8 fingers. That person would sit for the JAMB and the Post UME. All will cost the man N350,000.00.

I could not believe this man had seen 100k in his life, it shocked me when he priced N200k.

Can’t this girl sit for that exam and fail and sit for it again? Can’t the father invest a quarter of that amount on lessons and encourage the young girl? What is wrong with getting admission at 22? What are we teaching our children?

We are sitting on a time bomb. Soon, we will have doctors that cannot tell drugs apart, Engineers that cannot read a design. We should not be afraid of the guns we see in the street. The society we abuse today will take revenge on all of us tomorrow.

JUST BECAUSE HE'S PASTOR?

You maligned him, backstabbed him, gossip about him and wrongfully accused him. But he must not talk or fight back. If he does, you say "he called himself a pastor".

He prayed, fasted and laboured day and night for your deliverance. He stood in the gap for you and your family. He shared in your pains and sorrow and stood with you when it mattered. As soon as reprieve came, you forgot him and discard him as a worthless piece of thrash. If he dare to complain at all, he is in trouble. You are quick to say, "and he calls himself a pastor".

He rendered services and you never thought of paying him. You called him any time you like and he answered. He ran everywhere for you and with you but you never thought of compensating him. He called you to do things for him and you charged him the normal price everybody pays. He lent you money when you were desperately in need and he must not ask for it. If he decides to force you to pay the debt you owe him,you are ready for a fight. You keep yelling on top of your voice, "and he called himself a pastor".

He drove a smokey jalopy and you called him an embarrassment. God blessed him with a good car you say he's worldly. Your comedians bought latest G-Wagon and you are all over the social media celebrating. He bought an old model Prado you are accusing him of feasting on church tithes. Anytime he appears nice in the public you are sad, all you think is "and he calls himself a pastor".

Excuse me; is there anything wrong in being a pastor? You cannot do without them yet you don't want to see them. Even those who, like Nicodemus, pay secret visits to pastors, yell on top of their voices to crucify them. You say pastors don't do anything than eating tithes and offering, yet you never pay tithe or offering. Exactly what is your problems with pastors? Be bold enough to tell us!

Stop trampling on pastors. Stop all the blackmail against men on the pulpit. Face the people you pay all your taxes to and never give you anything in return. Stop the abuse of privileges granted by pastors; simply because they are sincere in their services to God. True there are fake pastors out there. That is just because there are genuine ones also. Most pastors are true shepherds, labouring over the flock of God.

God bless all pastors.
May God encourage your hearts continually.
May your labour be greatly rewarded.
May your lives prosper in the work.

Dear Young Nigerian Youth,

El - Rufai at 62 years old is Governor of Kaduna state and just attended one of his sons' university graduation abroad. None of his children is in their late 30s yet. His first child Yasmin was 25 years when she died from a neurological attack in 2011. She would have been 36 today. But guess what, at 25 she already had a Bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Bath, UK, Masters Degree from London School of Economics and a law degree from University of London.

How is that possible? The father is rich and so could afford the best educational opportunities for her abroad.

El-Rufai who was born in 1960 founded his first company with three other youths, a quantity surveying firm called El-Rufai & Partners in 1980 at the age of 20. From 1980;to 1998, they bided for contracts and jobs that they delivered earning them more and bigger jobs to the extent that the company was one of the companies contracted in the construction of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, and that's how they became Young Millionaires. In the course of this El Rufai hit executive appointments with At&T and Motorola Inc, and further developed himself academically adding to his ABU degree three more degrees from Harvard, George Town University and University of London subsequently.

Being a muslim, he didn't join his peers or religion and tradition to rush into early marriage. By the time he finally settled down to marry he was already a comfortable millionaire able to afford as many wives and children as he desires.

He didn't look for somebody's daughter to drag into hardship in the name of struggling, growing and building together.

62 years is unarguably the age of a granny but with wealth he can still fly to attend his child's graduation abroad like a young father when so many young parents can't even afford to attend their babies nursery school graduation ceremony.

Don't let anyone pressure or blackmail you with the sentiment that you don't want to be doing school runs at old age. Nothing makes a man more youthful than success and wealth and nothing makes a man older than his age like poverty and lack.

Of course, by that sacrifice Rufia's young children can afford to marry early and make him a grand father still. We've seen the grand marriage ceremonies of his baby looking sons and daughters in the past decade and can't deny the wow in the events!

As a man, the age between 20-40 is the best opportunity you have to build your empire. Be deliberate about your economic reality. Develop yourself, draw up an economic plan for yourself and pursue it. It's difficult to do anything for yourself as a man once you're married. Especially in Africa. You'll take care of your wife and children, you'll take care of your wife's siblings and parents and relatives regardless of their economic buoyancy. And you'll still take care of your extended family. Marriage announces you as Mr. Responsible for everyone except your personal needs. If you can buy a land or even build a house before your marriage please do. But it's best to set yourself up business wise first. I don't mean ordinary start up! The cost of marriage ceremony and first two years of running a home will take it's toll on the start up. I mean, established capital flow. Then you can think of bringing in someone's daughter. Women were not made to suffer. Even God created the whole earth including plants and animals before forming Eve from the rib of Adam. She came and met everything ready. That's the standard God himself set. Do not defy it. Not many have been so lucky defying it. Those who have, I wish them the best if luck. They also deserve your support.

I repeat, there's nothing like late planting in procreation. With wealth and health you can produce the healthiest of children at 90 years. My youngest cousin who's the current Publicity Secretary of PDP in my Ward was born when his father was already 70 years. Guess what, he's the most handsome of all my late uncle's children and the man lived long to see him bloom.

The poverty is realer than HIV/AIDS and the western world has been waging war against it long before black liberation. One of such wars was birth control. Now, it's strategic socialization. Poor people owe themselves the duty not to multiply themselves. First lift yourself out of poverty before you multiply yourself.

Don't take a wife if you can't comfortably take care of her, do not have a child if you can't comfortably take care of two children, that's the standard. Children do not bring luck neither do wives bring favours else African villages would be filled with billionaires...

Marriage is not an achievement if you can't afford a home.
Let's take Nigeria to the next level in wealth creation. When Jesus Christ warned in Matthew 26:11 that "the poor you'll always have with you" He didn't say you should become one of them.

Husband and wife decided to attend a new church, the husband drives in an expensive car valued ₦25,000,000.00 each day they arrive church the husband will alight first, then he will move to the passenger seat to open the car for his wife to alight, The practice of opening the car for his wife continued over time, later other women in the church began to envy the woman, accordingly they began to challenge their poor husbands at home for not treating them like the man who opens car for his wife, that after all, the man is rich yet treats his wife like a queen.

It became a serious issue in some families. While women were praising the man , the men regarded him as foolish man. When the matter got to the man's notice, he requested permission from the pastor to address the church and his permission was granted.

He said:

'The reason I open the car for my wife is because the car lock is faulty and can only be opened from outside, it will cost me about ₦500,000.00 to fix because it has a security chain that connects other systems in the car and I do not have such money now. It is not my normal style to open car door for my wife, we are just managing the car problem.'

Since Osinachi died we all have been shouting leave so that u can live, don't stay in abusive marriage and so on.

But many of you still see single moms around you as husband snatcher.

Some of you see every single mom as irresponsible or a prostitute without even knowing their story.

Some of you won't even rent out your apartment to a woman once you know she is divorced.

Some of you won't even employ single moms.

If the Gospel musician that died had separated from her husband before he killed her, some of you will say she shouldn't be invited to minister in churches anymore.

Some of you will label her a sinner that is not fit to minister.

These are probably the reasons why she kept enduring.
It is so easy to tell a woman to leave abusive marriage without worrying about what people will say.

But I want to remind us today that we should be mindful of what we say to people and how we treat people.

Men in abusive marriage also face more criticism than women, that is why you hardly see men talk about it, because when they do it is either no one believes them or some will say they are not man enough.

The blood of people who die in abusive marriage is not just on the partner that killed them, but also on everyone that discriminate against single parent and divorcees.

The most difficult people to advise are those who are high on their ambitions.

A school leaver who strongly desires to gain admission into an higher institution will not understand how over-rated higher education is. I have met graduates that are less employable than some high school leavers. I once told a young man who just gained admission for an engineering course that by the time he was done with university, he would understand how insignificant grades are in the real world. He couldn't fathom that statement at that time. When he was done, he could not stop asking himself the essence of higher education in Nigeria.

Most men longing to get married do not really understand what being a husband and father means. They fantasize all day about how lovely it would be in THE OTHER ROOM. As a matter of fact, most of the singles forums out there are merely touching on the surface. They have not taken a walk to the super-market to ask for the price of diapers, baby foods, ice-cream, school fees etc. Aside school fees, you need to plan for birthday gifts for ALL the classmates of your kid; it is now a matter of competition of who gives the most expensive birthday gifts in classy schools. The emotional commitment (and sometimes emotional torture), the sleepless night caused by a crying infant and the burden of raising another human being are all realities that come with the package.

Unmarried women on the other hand cannot wait to get their own man, have their home and carry their babies. That is a very legitimate desire. The problem lies in failing to understand the real meaning of being a wife and mother. It is not a mere status change. Carrying a baby in the womb for months is a serious reality. Delivery either by CS or natural is not a movie. It is a serious medical condition. Supporting the husband financially or otherwise is a huge responsibility. From the outside, it is difficult to understand the enormous self-sacrifice that goes into making marriage work even for a year.

Recently, I read a post from someone talking about the realities of those living abroad. I checked the comment section to see how Nigerians would react. The vast majority just kept asking the writer to come back home before they would believe. It is the same answer you will get when a rich man tells a poor man that money does not really create lasting happiness. The poor cannot understand. They see such statement as scam. Desires could be intoxicating and could blind-fold the bearer.

The median individual annual income of Canadian is about CAD 38,000 (roughly NGN 13 million). 40% of Canadians have homes that are on mortgage and two-third of Canadians use loans to finance their cars. In 2019, the average net savings per household in Canada is CAD 2,482 (roughly NGN 820,000). From a documentary, the number 1 reason why most elderly citizens in USA get scammed by cyber criminals is because of LONELINESS. They desperately want to believe all the romantic gestures from their faceless lovers who simply want to milk them dry. Fentanyl overdose has become the leading cause of death for US adults age 18 to 45 with over 100,000 deaths in ONE year. To put this into perspective, if you add up all the deaths caused by Boko Haram between 2011 and 2021, you will get almost 60,000 deaths. Just do the comparison.

Life is full of choices. Your choice is your cup-of-tea. But if you want to make better decisions, listen to those who have taken that road you want to take. Listen to the good and ugly sides of the story. Their experience will either make you change your mind or help you arm yourself with the right tools to deal with the challenge ahead. It is better to expect and plan for a challenge than to pray it away. There are challenges that goth-not-out except by planning and dealing with them. An example is paying for school fees as parents. Another round of school fees is around the corner. Best of luck to all parents with kids in schools!

I grew up broke. I used to hope someone rich would just write me a check, which I believed would fix all my problems. I used to envy people with lots of money, and imagined how much better my life would be if I could just have some of theirs.

However, I realized that no person was coming to fix things for me. Nobody with money was going to just write me a check. I realized that if I wanted something, I had to go get it myself!

I took extreme ownership of my situation, and that's when my life began to get better.

Please hear me: hope without hard work is hopeless, and faith without action is fruitless. It is dead!

So if you want something, make a decision that, no matter what, it's all on you to make it happen!

To be sure, God provides us with the strength and stamina needed to make things happen, but we are the ones who have to do the work.

Don't expect God to do the supernatural and you're not even willing to do the natural. Get to work!

THEME: CLOUD OF WITNESSES

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (Hebrews 12:1).

It is important to know and understand the symbolic significance of “clouds” as revealed in Scripture. Human beings are referred to as clouds in the same way that they are referred to as trees. For example, Isaiah 61:3 helps us to see the parallel between humans and trees. We are referred to as the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified.

In another instance, the Bible says, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water…” (Psalm 1:3). Think about that. In the same way, we are also referred to as a “cloud.” When Jesus died on the Cross and descended into hell, he brought the Old Testament saints who were waiting for Him in the heavenlies out of hades. They came out of their graves after His resurrection and some of them actually appeared to many in the holy city. Acts 1:9 says, “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”

Observe that Luke, by the inspiration of the Spirit, tells us, “…a cloud received him out of their sight.” Here, Luke was not talking about that visible mass of condensed water vapour floating in the atmosphere. He was referring to what we read in our opening verse: “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (Hebrews 12:1).

This huge cloud (crowd) of witnesses to the life of faith are those that the Bible talked about in Hebrews 11. These are men and women who through their faith performed great feats for the Kingdom of God (Hebrews 11:32-33). These witnesses of faith subdued kingdoms and did supernatural things in their time; they ruled their world. They wrought righteousness; meaning when others conformed to error, they stood their ground for the truth and prevailed. We sometimes refer to these as those in the “Faith Hall of Fame.” Indeed, they are a cloud of witnesses, op people, and everyone with his own glory. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I am a tree of righteousness, planted by the Lord; I am a water-carrying cloud, expressing the righteousness of the Lord and communicating His salvation everywhere and to every man. Hallelujah!
