Chief he’s right. Most abroad guys are not as great as people make them seem to be.
If it’s easy, all the lands in ikate would have been bought and developed by Nigerians in abroad considering the total numbers of Nigerians there.
I don’t say you can’t go there and make it, you can but it comes with a hefty social and economic price.
People who have the best chances of succeeding financially in the US/UK are people who are into STEM fields and are geniuses in their respective Expertise.
The whites don’t believe too much in certifications, they believe so well in acquired provable skills and accreditation.

As an Engineer which I am also, building car goes beyond constructing main frames of cars. The engine block for example need to be casted by iron or aluminum or related better alloys.. But our brother don't even cast a single iron.. They buy ready made engines.. And say they built car... Bros.. Is all arrangemt..

Also let us go to common plastics.. I saw golf round coolant container in the built car.. Haba.. Even plastic too.. We can't do our own..

Lesson.... The guy try.. But let us always call a spade a spade.. Assembling is different from constructing..

It isn’t necessary for someone to single handedly build each and every piece of a product/machinery/device before it’s being regarded as proprietary production.

Every company in the world today has their main area of specialization regardless of what industry they wiggle on.
Be it the automobile industry, electronic equipments industry, mobile and networking industries and what have you, they all tend to outsource some components to finally garner their finished products.
In the smart phone and computer industry, lots of companies outsources key components from the industry-hearts companies or OEMs (original equipment makers). E.G. Intel and qualcomm.
Most computer chips production knowledge are only harbored by these companies and tends not to share it even anytime soon.
Same thing goes with the networking industries and so on.


Even the iphone you all hailed apple for in the world today has got only the board, lightning port, cables and the OS developed by apple. The rest components are produced and supplied by intel (apple A13 bionic chip), Samsung (OLED panel), ID3 Disk (iphones main internal memory drive) and the assembly isn’t even done by apple, it’s handled by a Chinese base company in shenzen. A company fostered by apple in 2010.
Same in automobile industries. Even a rolls royce Phantom and the pagani huayra’s insane powerful V12 engine was built and patented by mercedez-AMG group.
