It's not a new thing. It is not only Kate Henshaw, all aspirants of major parties seeking tickets do it. In fact, even when you are favored by the powers that be in the party, you still bribe delegates so as to be able to 'be sure'. Even after bribing delegates, you have to pray that you aren't 'outbribed' by your opponents, otherwise it is FAILURE!

If you don't bribe delegates, you will not win party ticket. This is a FACT ABOUT NIGERIA POLITICS.

I know this because I have been a witness to several primaries, congresses and conventions of the two major parties.

BTW we all witnessed how elected members of HoR were given $50k - $100k bribe each to elect the Femi Gbaja led leadership.

PS: I'm not trying to justify Kate's action nor defend her, my point is that it is a 'norm', though ridiculous, in Nigeria's politics.

Honestly I don't know why yoruba people can't just leave this contraption called Nigeria.
Aftermath of formation of amotekun the southeast governors hosted a security summit with IGP.

Ask yourself why such meeting not hold before amotekun was formed. Why the southeast governors accept state police policing suggest by IGP when southeast governors note the fact that southwest governors and federal government still have issues with formation of amotekun and they know that southwest will not compromise or give up on any basis.

Southeast with some northern elders and groups collaborated together to frustrate the establishment of amotekun. Southeast continue to sabotage southwest plans Because of their hatred against Yoruba.

2023 election is going to be interesting. They said it's their turn to be Nigeria president as if Edo man and Calaba man have being Nigeria president before.

Ibo should form alliance with north in 2023 and let us go to the battlefield together.
