Apparently, women have come to the conclusion that broke dudes don’t deserve to be in a relationship. While this might seem a little harsh, these women have their reasons for taking such a stand. Let’s take a look at some reasons why most women hate to date broke ass dudes.

1. Lack of financial security
A woman wants to feel secured in finances. While she may truly love a guy, she wants to be sure that he’s capable of taking care of not just her present needs but any emergencies that may arise. She doesn’t want to lack the basic things in life especially when there are guys out there who can give her those things. Wanting financial security is far from gold-digging. A broke guy can barely take care of himself let alone someone else. If she chooses to be with him, she’ll have to “manage” most of the time, and managing is a thing most women detest. Why manage when you can have more?

1. No romance
As the popular saying goes: “There’s no romance without finance.” When two adults come together to have a relationship, it takes more than love for them to have a good time. Even the greatest of love stands the chance of fading away without romance to keep the fire burning.

When a guy is loaded, he’s better equipped to be romantic. He could take her on vacation, give her surprise presents and sweep her off her feet by performing a romantic magic that only money can afford. When the inevitable challenges in relationships come up and she begins to have doubts about being with him, he could reset her brain by splashing money around in his romantic antics.

1. He’s so predictable
Dating a broke guy is like a routine chore – it can be boring to the point of choking you to death. It’s the same thing every day. You can tell what he’s up to because he doesn’t have the resources to do otherwise.

At first, she could try to get along with it in the name of love, but after a while, it becomes unbearable. Being broke limits a guy’s performance in a relationship. Even when he has all the creative ideas to spice up the relationship, there isn’t much he can do because his bank account is nothing to write home about.

Lol. Many Ladies would go ahead and defend the term “slayqueen” saying it means a woman who is successful and who doesn’t need to depend on a man to get what she wants.

In fact i used to be one of those ladies that caption pictures sometimes with “SLAYING” or “WE SLAY” thinking it meant something good until i learnt that the title had a definition.

Lmao, apparently Urban dictionary literally defined “Slay queen” as an Olosho who is active on snapchat, instagram, and any other popular social media you could think of.
But all things fair though, Urban dictionary gave one good definition of “slay queen”, i guess they were just trying to pat ladies’ already battered and shattered ego.

Police in Uganda arrested a 24-year-old woman after she stabbed her husband to death because he refused to make love with her.
Harriet Nambi, who hails from Nakiyanhja,Kaliro Town council stabbed Musa Batera 25, for refusing to have sex with her ever since she gave birth two months ago through cesarean.
Until his death, Batera who was married to 3 wives was the chairman of Kaliro district Boda Boda Association, while Nambi is a primary school teacher at Kaliro Town.
Hasifa Babirye, a neighbor said the couple developed some quarrels some 3 days ago where Nambi accused Batera of repeatedly refusing to sleep with her.
“She told me that her husband was denying her sex yet she needed it. I asked her to wait since she had just been operated upon but she was obsessed,” Babirye told police.
“I tried to ask her to give it time but she said she was going to harm him and when the husband returned, she stabbed him.” she added.
According to residents, Nambi lured the deceased to their rented house and as soon as he entered, she started quarrelling which developed into a fight.
Kaliro District police boss, Joseph Kihamba, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect has been arrested and is to be charged with murder.
The police boss advised couples to settle their differences with family members and relevant authorities.

A 45-year-old native medicine seller, Usman Saidu of Kakumi village in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State was yesterday, kept behind bars over alleged criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.

Saidu had on December 22, 2017, at Gobirawa village in Safana Local Government Area of the state, administered a native medicine that he claimed could repel bullets on one 27-year-old Aliyu Yahuza.

A Police prosecutor, Inspector Sani Ado, told Bakori Magistrate Court that after Yahuza drank the concoction, a dane gun was brought to test the efficacy of the medicine on him.

He added that Saidu reportedly fired at Yahuza’s chest, killing him on the spot.

According to Ado, the victim was later taken to General Hospital, Dustinma, where he was pronounced dead by medical doctors.

Ado added that “his corpse was photographed and then released to relatives for burial.”

According to the prosecutor, the offence was contrary to Sections 97 and 222(7) of the Penal Code.

Inspector Ado told the court that investigation was still in progress on the case and requested for an adjournment, which the court granted.

Hajiya Falila Dikko of the Magistrate Court, however, directed that Saidu be remanded in prison custody till February 22 when the matter would be heard.

The “Send Down The Rain” crooner, who made waves with his music in the late 80s and early 90s with his brand of reggae music, said while the current generation of singers make good sound, they could do better.

In an interview with HipTV, Majek was quoted as saying the present crop of singers don’t make good sounds but just songs that people can ‘jam’ to.

He said:
“I make sound while all these young musicians make jam, I make good sound but they are always jamming, they don’t make good sound, they just jam.

My song ‘Send down the rain’ was made over thirty years ago, but if you listen to it today, you will realize that the sound will appeal to both the old and equally the young ones because the sound is good and still relevant today, that is something the young musicians don’t have”.

In a follow-up chat with E-Daily, Majek explained that his statement in the interview with HipTV wasn’t meant to underrate or disrespect young artistes, but a fatherly encouragement to improve on their craft by making good sounds that will outlive them.

The Police in Kano is on the trail of a runaway bride, who allegedly killed her husband, Umar Sani, with poison.

The Public Relations Officer of the Police Command in the state, DSP Magaji Majiya, said on Tuesday that the relations of the late husband reported the incident to Kofar Wambai Police station in Kano metropolis on Monday.

He said the report indicated that the deceased, who married the teenage wife two weeks ago, was allegedly poisoned on Jan. 4, and died the following day.

“After the Police received the report on the incident, they went to their matrimonial home at Yakasai quarters in Kano metropolis but found that the bride had run away.

“Our men had already swung into action with a view to trailing and arresting her to face prosecution,” the police spokesman said.

According to him, the command will ensure that due process is followed in the investigation in order to ascertain the circumstances that led to the dastardly act.

On the killing of a kidnapped six-year-old boy at Dabai quarters in Gwale Local Government Area of the state, Majiya said the Department of State Services had arrested the principal suspect who was also the husband of the elder sister of the boy.

“The DSS has promised to transfer the case to the state Criminals Investigation Department for further investigation, ” he said.

He said as soon as the investigation was completed, the suspect and all other accomplices would be charged in court.
