Mounting point plays a huge factor too. You should be fine if your Mini has a direct line of sight to your devices as thick walls drastically reduce range and speed. I mounted my Mini close to my window. With my window opened, it sort of creates a direct line of sight to my living room, which helps with range and speed. Important tip, for the mini, if you're using the built-in router, I highly recommend keeping the WiFi bands (2.4ghz & 5ghz) merged. This helps the mini router and your devices to dynamically choose the best band to latch on. Whenever you're close to the mini, your connected device automatically switches to 5ghz (shorter range but faster speeds) and whenever you're far away from your mini, again your connected device automatically switches to 2.4ghz (longer range but slower speeds). Bands merging has helped me a lot. The mini router is really smart with WiFi band steering. If this doesn't help with range and speed, consider getting a mesh router. You can easily split the bands using a mesh router ijeezlux: Both of us are facing the same issue. My walls want to finish me, sometimes the WiFi strength will be so poor in my phone that even to get 10Mbps will be like winning a Gold medal in olympic. Sometimes I will begin to wonder if it's the same starlink other are using is what am also using or Elon musk sent me Temu starlink. My saving grace is just the ethernet cable that I connected straight from the starlink to a their party router in my sitting room |

Upstairs. Dish mounted outside (on top of my rooftop). I'm merging bands till I get a Gen 2 or Gen 3 router for wireless node. gsparks01: how close is the dish to you? My house walls interfere with the signal but when I'm outside, it's faster. |

This is from my Mini. Can't even imagine the speeds from a standard dish.

Unfortunately the offer is gone for the Mini. So glad I got mine immediately I saw the offer. Maybe they're cooking something bigger and better. gsparks01: It seems that 6 month installment plan has been stopped. I wonder if it was something that they wanted to do for a short while or something triggered them to stop... 🤔

Bro I even have tivimate premium (unarguably the best IPTV player). I have so many logs too. IPTV can get very frustrating with buffering and downtimes. Imagine Cricfy, HD streamz etc that are free apps being stable than most IPTV logs. ijeezlux: That's true sha. It's only drawback is the lagging during live football matches and also occasional buffering during live matches.., like today arsenal live match, my IPTV frustrated me with occasional buffering. Apart from that, every other thing abt IPTV is owesome |

IPTV with good uptime is extremely hard to come by. ijeezlux: You have tried, you have saved urself 70k, that's one month subscription and 13k. Na for you to go look for one correct premium IPTV subscription. So that everything will be complete |

gsparks01: okay.. This needs to be specifically a starlink router? I think I saw someone earlier saying he used mtn router or maybe this is different No, not just starlink routers. You can definitely use third-party routers too. In fact, you can use 3rd party routers in bypass mode (your dish just serves as a modem) which isn't possible with starlink routers. |

gsparks01: this increases speed? How does it work? If it's wired node (ethernet cable connection), yes it increases your speed. I'm mainly getting it for range and stability. |
