For me, I employ the most common method which is positive reinforcement training. Positive reinforcement training uses praise and/or treats to reward your dog for doing something you want him to do.

Whenever I see my dog barking to attack or just barking, I encourage by saying "good girl or good boy". If I'm having a treat with me I give him immediately.

Never tell your dog keep quiet when his barking at strangers. Let him have the floor. Come out to check when his barking so that he doesn't feel worthless.

Sometimes when his barking without any noticeable happenning I release him and move along with him.

All these boosts the morale of a dog to do more.

Giving a dog that has no guard instinct in it dry gin or hot drinks will neither make them guard your homestead nor bark at strangers, these instincts are all in the blood but sometimes training and older age helps.
My Gustaf is 1yr+ now, I'd expected to get a gsd with good guard instinct but Gustaf is yet to show me these things, he barks when someone knocks at the gate and also barks at night too but that's not just what i want, I need a temperamental gsd that would bark and ready to attack any stranger anytime of the day. My other dog (boerboel) wouldn't bark until last Xmas when he clocked 2yrs old, everything changed. So maybe we should exercise more patience before drawing with our conclusions.

Locate a friend who has aggressive dogs I repeat dogs. And keep ur dogs there for a while. Your dogs will begin to see how your friends dogs guards the house. Barks and attack which he might learn one or two. This method have been proven over time.

Also know that agressivesness and dominant behaviour grow in dogs with age. As they grow older, they become more territorial.

For the female, if you have intentions of breeding, don't make her aggressive.

Exactly. The only joy I derive from my dogs is that all other dog in the neighborhood are scared of them and they chase any dog once they see it. But when it comes to human all dey do is wag their tail and dance.

No it will not! The best thing he can do is to hire a trainer but even that, might not work because it is their natural built in character.
