In the last election, 5 in 7 youths of voting age did not vote. The average Nigerian believes that his vote doesn't count. That, ladies and gentlemen, is one of the fattest myth that lives on our faces. The politicians know this, why else would they buy your vote? Would you buy what doesn't count?

Now see guys, Leadership, Governance is organizing, amplifying, and constraining power to the end of bringing to the table of every member of the community the plate of life they dream of eating. The essence of government in the first place is to serve as a representative of everyone else, to be a central authority reflecting how everyone in the society wants to manage resources for their own good. But what do we have in Nigeria my friends?

It is in our hands to claim back sanity. As the space guy said "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind'. Lets begin to feel the future as real as the teeth in front of our tongues, lets understand that our actions today are the ink with which we write our destinies.

The picture below is a case of what politics has become; happened around my area in Lagos. Campaign and debates telling us detailed leadership plans have decayed into souvenirs and a few cups of rice in exchange for voters card details. Yes, you heard right, and whats even more disgusting is the idea that the beneficiaries are oblivious of the wrong in taking such actions; to them its normal. My friends, the ibos often say, "obere nsi ne mmebi ike', which means "its the small excreta that spoils the buttocks". Small ignored actions can lead to installing as dummy as your next governor. we must abhor short-sightedness.

You might want to say, "yea am enlightened but a tree doesn't make a forest", well a single weed left to grow around can lead to more around it. You must take actions, talk to others around you, get them to analyze who they want as their next leaders, their next president, and let the chain go on. You never know how far your efforts would go.

Go out to vote!
Do not sell it. It shapes your next few years.
Youths! DO NOT be part of electoral violence. Live and let live.

I may not be Ben Murray-Bruce, but this is common sense, let us not ignore it. Government affects your life whether you accept it or not. We must take action, little by little. Matlab is a software dt can do almost anytin u can think of as a scientist and engineer irrespective of ur specialization. I hav over 10years experience in using matlab and I ve worked wit it from doing basic computing, solving advanced calculation, running process simulations, image processing, hardware communication and interfacing, virtual reality modeling and also software development.

Matlab is not a programming language but hav an environment M-File for programming dt can program anytin. Advantage of using programming in matlab is dt u ll hav access to many advance functions and tools wit a single line whic in Java can take u months to write.

Actually, lookin closin to matlab, u ll kno it was developed on Java and is designed for high level technical computin and development.

Finally From experience, I ll advice u to go for software lik LABVIEW for d application u hav in mind. Its easier wit such level of development and hardware interfacing while MATLAB is great if ur development is at research level.
Labview handles programming as function blocks dt u just pick, arrange, connect and run. U can also create user interface as d front end quickly thru pick and drop controls.

Labview also hav interface development toolbox for .NET users whr u can just pick special controls dt ll tak u eternity to create in most programming software.
I use ds mostly for creatin HMI (Human Machine Interface) front end and interface it to communicate wit necessary hardwares including some medical legacy equipments.
