Game on my people |
I was fiddling with google-translate this morning trying to see yoruba translations to some words. I typed in "parasite" and couldn't believe what i saw. The translation came out as "SAAW" which is known in islam for "ṣall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam". Is this some kind of mockery on islam or just an honest mistake by google?

5. Sauce Kid vs Godwon The Feud between Sauce kid and Godwon is at number 5 of our Top Industry Beefs. If you are very vast in music & have a wild remembrance of that year (2013), we witnessed crazy beef between these two friends in the industry. it was quite loud as the two artiste went as far as going into the studio recording diss songs hitting at each other’s daughters and wives revealing some really private things mehn. We are not sure if both sauce kid & Godwon, have settled their differences since they both are no were to be found on the industry’s radar at the moment. 4. Naeto C vs Ikechukwu The disagreement which occurred between Naeto C and Ikechukwu was not quite well understood as fans could not know what led to the beef between two childhood friends. Some even said “how can the dog chew the finger that it fed from” referring to Naeto C’s loyalty to Ikechukwu who we all believe to have brought Naeto C to limelight with the “Kini Big Deal ” track. Ikechukwu also had some issues with the then Mo’hits crew, Ikechuwu and NaetoC ended their beef releasing a track “WHY”. 3. MI vs Kelly Handsome So this beef actually started after MI dissed Iceberg Slim then Kelly handsome took to twitter to attack him several times calling me “Retarded”.. They both released diss tracks, titled “Beef” and “Finish You”. This is another interesting diss moment to remember cause the trending on twitter no slack. Although both MI and Kelly handsome have settled, even performed on the same stage one time but Kelly Handsome is saying that if he hadn’t started a beef with MI, MI wouldn’t be as popular as he is now. 2. Reminisce vs Vector At number 2, we have the beef between Reminisce and Vector, these two artiste are very good at their game but back in the days, they had a disagreement both Lyrically and in Personality, resulting to tracks which geared up the beefs. But not quite long; few years back, they both settled their differences and now Reminisce is on the Remix of “King Kong” and likewise Vector featured on the Baba Hafusa Album. It is all good with these two artistes. 1. Mo’hits, D’banj & Wande Coal At Number 1, We have Mo’hits Crew. This has been the most controversial beefs of all time, non-arguable. Their have been series of stories about who caused the break up of the Greatest Crew “Mo’hits” which is no more, now redefined into “Mavins”. I wouldn’t point fingers at which artiste did this or that, as D’banj as come out himself to speak his own side of the story on “The Truth with Olisa Adibua”. So, the disagreement led to the departure of both D’banj and his younger brother, K-Switch followed by Wande Coal who has his own label now called “Black Diamond”. At this Year’s MTV Base African Music Awards (MAMA), we witnessed D’banj dedicating his “Evolution Award” to Don Jazzy. Also few weeks back, Db Records Boss shared some pictures of him chilling at the MAVIN Mansion with Dr.sid and the rest. So we can say the MAVIN and Db Records have officially/publicly settled the scores but we cannot forget “Black Diamond” as nothing has been said if Wande Coal has been in contact with any of them yet. I am sorry if you were really hoping to see Davido vs Wizkid make this list but I consider those as shades and not beefs because they never did attack each other lyrically or personally but just mere tweets (shades) which were exaggerated by Fans. If you still disagree with me, well, I have tried my best; you can do better. source |

It is unarguable that top Hip-hop artiste, Eedris Abdulkareem has made name in Nigerian entertainment industry, but few years back his success story dwindled after the release of his last album which almost flopped. Since then, the singer who hails from Osun state but raised in Kano has been struggling in different ways to bounce back. His attempt to revitalize his career took him back to the famous record label, Kennis Music who actually launched his career from his Remedies days. However, the last may not have been heard about the controversial musician has he recently takes a swipe at Davido. In a recent interview with Hip TV, the highly revered musician says he watched the latest music video of the ‘Skelewu’ crooner and he is unhappy with what he saw. The video entitled ‘ Fans Mi ‘ , in which he featured an American Rapper and member of the Maybach Group, Meek Mill, showed Davido with a briefcase filled with dollars and another bag filled with parcels of a substance ‘ Hard Drugs’. The ‘Jaga jaga crooner described the music video as corruptible and of no good to Nigerian Youths and most especially kids. He concluded by warning Davido to stay off drugs before he become a goat using Majek Fashek as a reference. Could this be another cold war brewing? www.nigeriafilms.com/news/34743/24/hip-hop-artistes-eedris-abdulkareem-slams-davido-s.html
