Nigerian media personality Uti Nwachukwu has taken to social media to share some of the things he stopped doing last year.

Replying to a post by a Twitter user, Uti mentioned that he stopped paying his tithe last year and contrary to believe, his finances are still intact.

Uti went on to state that not paying his tithe has helped him save more. The model went on to state that he was blindly and fearfully paying his tithe back then.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Yomi Alliyu, has volunteered to defend the young girl from Queen’s College who was allegedly assaulted by a security officer for fixing eyelashes.

The learned silk in an open letter which he addressed to ladies, condemned the act, and stated that it was wrong filming the girl who was but an underage.

According to him, they had succeeded by their acts in creating a life long scar on the girl child which if not properly handled may cause eternal damnation in the life of this young heart.

He also added that the negative tag from this may affect how she is treated throughout her life, and she might need a psychiatrist working hand in hand with a seasoned psychologist to bring her back to her feet and womanhood.

“I watched with blurry eyes the scene brought to play by security men at Queens College, Lagos. I bled inside me when I saw a young girl taking cover on her mum’s shoulder having her head pull back forcefully and/or violently by a Security man with the intention of showing her eyelashes to the world by filming an underage girl.

“This is reprehensible and should be condemned by all right-thinking people. This is punishment carried to the extreme. Even if she had committed ARMED ROBBERY the law does NOT allow filming of underage for any criminal offence!.

“For crying out loud, what crime under the Law is wearing of eyelashes? Is it indecent exposure of body by a student to warrant bullying, jeering, exposure to public odium and ridicule by half-educated security outfit of Queens College, Lagos, who not only filmed but mounted the video on the internet and ensuring that it went viral.

“They had succeeded by their acts in creating a life long scar on the girl child which if not properly handled.

A Nigerian man who got to UK in 2016 with just 2 travelling bags is full of thanks to God as he just became a landlord in England. He shared the good news on social media saying God gave me a house.

Two priests have been involved in a horrific accident which actually left one person dead in Anambra.

According to Punch Metro, an auto crash in Anambra State involving two priests has claimed the life of a 40-year-old man, Hilary Onu.

Seven others who sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident were rushed to the hospital.

The two clerics, Emmanuel Ukwachukwu and Isaac Ugeri, who were driving a Honda Pilot Jeep and a Mitsubishi Delica bus respectively had a head-on collision.

It was gathered that the accident occurred on the Ezinifite/Uga road in the Aguata Local Government Area of the State.

The pastor driving the Mitsubishi bus was said to be carrying 14 passengers, presumed to be his church members.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mohammed Haruna, confirmed the incident to our correspondent.

He warned motorists in the state to drive with care, especially during the Yuletide.

He stated,”There was a fatal motor accident along Ezinifite/Uga road Aguata involving a Honda Pilot Jeep with registration number ABJ-618-AY driven by one Rev Emmanuel Akachukwu of No 12B Adebuonia street,Onitsha and a Mitsubishi Delica Bus with Reg number XG-179-AWK conveying 14 passengers, driven by one Pastor Isaac Ugeri of No.19 Nwaziki Street Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

“The two vehicles were coming from the opposite direction when they had a head-on collision. As a result, seven persons including the two drivers sustained injuries.

“Police Patrol team attached to Aguata Division visited the scene and with the assistance of Red cross rushed casualties to Community Hospital, Nkpologwu where one Hillary Onu, aged 40 years of Enugu Ezike in Enugu State was certified dead on admission while others are responding to treatment.”

Mohammed said the remains of the deceased were deposited at a morgue for postmortem while the case is being investigated to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.

He added,”The Commissioner of Police John Abang implores all road users in the state to refrain from reckless driving in order to avert accidents which could lead to loss of innocent lives especially at this critical period when the state is experiencing mass movements of people who are coming for Christmas and new year celebrations”.

Michael J Pollard has died, aged 80, on Wednesday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Michael's friend Dawn Walker told The Hollywood Reporter that the actor suffered a cardiac arrest.

He was best known for playing CW Ross in 1967 gangster–romance movie Bonnie And Clyde alongside Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, which earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination.

Popular Nigerian rapper, Zlatan’s tour manager, Babatunde Adio a.k.a. Royce has been arrested in America for allegedly duping show promoters.

According to the Instagram user identified as Olasconcepts who narrated the story, the tour promoter collected money from different show organizers in America, promising appearance from the rapper at their events.

However, to the dismay of the show organizers, Zlatan never showed up at their events and this led to outrage.

This reportedly led to the arrest of Royce in Texas, America.
