Good evening mamas. I have had 4 miscarriages between September 2015 and December 2017. I tested positive again and immediately started taking duphaston then i did an early ultrasound last week Friday the dr diagnosed a blighted ovum measuring 5wks4days then he told me to wait for mc or check again in two weeks. I got so anxious and did a scan today. It showed a viable pregnancy that measured 7weeks 1 day. Am happy but scared. I am still taking the duphaston and mildly cramping occasionally i had a lot nausea last week but it seems to have subsided. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks mamas.
PS: i spotted for two days last week

Ok dear, since you have related your fears to your doctor, I think you should take it or you can wait one more week if you are concerned.

Did you just say wait one more week. I'm not sure you ve had a good symptom of malaria dear. Mind you that fever or whatever symptom is not healthy for you nor your baby. Well the ball is in her court to play depending on how she feels

Congratulations. You shall carry to term and deliver your baby with ease. Had that brownish stain mine was like two days complained to the doctor and said its nothing to worry about.

You can use coartem since you are already in your second trimester. No harm. Am sure you are able to feel the movements of your baby now so you are good to go. But if the malaria symptom is mild you can just go for maldox. Maldox is not a good option for strong malaria even in 1st trimester. My 1kobo

Hi teamie thank God everything is fine. Did my scan too on the 7th of June 8wks gone and am good only that the tiredness and metallic taste is dealing with me seriously but am trusting that it shall end well. #Team Jan#

Hello Mamas in the house. Pls help.
I want to do family planning IUD but I'm yet to make up mind because am scared of one side effect or the other. Now I want to go for depo provera first may be before the 3mths will elapse I may be able to decide whether to go for the IUD because I want a space of five years before thinking of the third baby. My question now is that I hv not seen my period and my baby is 8wks old so can I take the injection without my period or I ll hv to wait till I see it. Pls if its possible to take it without my period then am ready to hv it today. Sabi mamas pls come to my aid ooo. I can't afford another pregnancy now ooo. Thanks in anticipation

I started feeling funny around my tighs on monday so i taught i ll go into labour. Monday night throughout nothing happend. I woke up on tuesday morning with so much energy so i did some clean up and off to my shop. Got to the shop around 8am and started arranging the shop for the day's business. 8.30am my water suddenly broke like a bursted sachet water.

So when I saw the water I was happy and confused cos there was no contraction. I now called my DH and told him that water just came out. Around 8.35am I felt the first contraction so we went home to get my things so we could go to the hospital. Got to the house I started picking my things, had a cool shower with my daughter, I was just catwalking in the house with mild contractions of 10minuts apart. Few minutes after 9 I felt a strong contraction and this time it was like 3minutes apart na so I use speed take comot for house. So my DH drove me to the hospital of about 30minuts drive then the contraction was becoming often and stronger. Got to the hospital around 10am I was checked and the midwife said I was almost fully dilated and said I should lye on my side before I knew it I started having the urge to push so I called the midwife and she checked me again and said I was fully dilated and that I should push at the next contraction and that was how my prince was born with a single long push at exactly 10.45am. Labour was less than 3hrs and that was how it was with my first child. GODISEVERFAITHFUL
