ZombieDredd: So instead of holding the governments to account, na to double hustle
Next year they increase by 500%, what do you do? Triple the hustle?
And they increase by 1000%? You keep tripling hustle abi?
Una go get sense by force for nigeria I find some words off putting like Nigerians are resilient, I asked what's resilient about a group of people who can't hold her leaders accountable but would rather device a coping mechanism to carry on in the face of the failure of the elected government, it's pitiful, man. Doubling or tripling the hustle isn't even proportional again because the cost of basic stuff in the market isn't pocket friendly anymore. Until we elect government who are ready to be held accountable we will keep playing the game of musical chairs. |

OneMillionBTC: This will promote Internet calls more.
Anyway, with time we will hardly make normal calls as almost everyone will be using Internet calls which is far too cheaper. As time goes on, they will look into it, trust me, it's like when the devil decides to give one a gift or let me say a Greek gift. Airtel are doing absolutely rubbish with their hourly data plans, you'd get 2GB for 200 naira for an hour and yet there will no network coverage to even use 100-500MB of such data before an hour elapse. It's crazy, man. |

Reverseng: It's a blessing in disguise for distracted people. You're supposed to go to the internet with a streamlined view of what you want to get from it. Instead of going there without a plan.
Imagine going to the market without knowing what to buy. You go to social media and you're just scrolling like someone who's brain has been hijacked by another entity.
Possession doesn't happen when you're flying with a broom stick at night. It also happens when you find yourself doing something you know is detrimental to your health, but keep doing it regardless... smoking, mindless social media binging, masturbation and so on
This news is same as when people complain that the price of sugar has gone up... When all I see is a blessing that the price of diabetes had gone up.
"The price of vegetable oil has gone up. What do I do?"
That's a trigger for you to look for alternative that are healthy and less expensive. Or where do you think vegetable oil cones from? You think vegetable oil comes from crushed vegetables huh?
PS: this might affect a lot of companies but it'll give room for alternatives, instead of transferring costs on customers. At your post script, cost will still be transferred to the final consumers, this is Nigeria and we can't pretend like we don't know one or two things about how things is being done over here. |

Nigerians started car spare parts business in Ghana decades ago and they are still leading
Phones and accessories in Ghana also, Nigerians have overtaken
Don't even let's talk about Banking and real estate which Nigerians are also dominating in Ghana
Even stationeries/ books e.t.c, a family friend is one of those leading that line of business in Ghana

Who came up with the theories and so called facts? Once you begin asking such questions, your eyes will open that we're but in a different type of slavery.
In the book: intellectual slavery; the worst legacy of colonialism, I challenged the language we speak, the education we have, the God we believe. But beware, because once you're conscious enough to ask such questions, Western secret services will be after you. They want you to believe that the world is already the way it should be and that you're not to challenge anything. |

Vinod007: One of the problems with Nigeria is that policy makers and supervisors most times do not understand what they superintend over. It is most unfortunate that the minister who is supposed to be in a knowledgeable position is also committing the same faux pax as many uninformed Nigerians. For the ministers information, though History was removed from the curriculum of primary schools and junior secondary schools during Ya'Adua's era, it was returned to the curriculum under former president Jonathan. This, I know because I work with the curriculum. The Minister should query his officials who misinformed him. The problem is that most officers in most federal and state ministries of education do not even have copies of the curriculum being operated in the country more or less knowing what is inside. |

-Be skeptical about everybody, a benefit of doubt is what you need when dealing with humans, doesn't matter if it's Nigerians or folks from other part of the world.
-Do not lend Nigerians money, most of us sulk when it's payback time.
-Nigerians don't learn from history they rather repeat the same mistakes and expect a different result.
-The ideal life is a lie, you'd fail and win so prepare your mind to deal with those two variables like friends.
-Science have it limit, so should you but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be open minded enough.
-Once in a while, skip the media and their manipulations, same goes for social media too.
-Trust nobody, pastor aren't saints neither are the shamans too.
-Most politicians are sub humans. Doesn't matter if they are Nigerians or not.
-Every man have a price, until the right amount is placed on the table you'd discovered that your fire talking man/woman of integrity can't afford his temptations.
-As a religious head be prepared to have your faith challenged, your beliefs questioned do not fret at it, it's all part of life.
-Assume less. |
