I was in Awka in December 2010 and I didn't see any tarred road in Awka proper. The Enugu- Onitsha express was in a horrible state. Well, I don't know where exactly Okpuno is but I doubt if it has any roads at all, tarred or not. |
Is the plot approved ( or if not, can it be approved) for multi-flat building? |
what's the size of each plot? are they next to each other? is the price of 20m for one or both? |
thanx taich. i'll get in touch when i'm ready. |
Taich. Yes, my mistake. I meant 3bdrm apartments with a pool and stand-bye generator in an average area like say, gwarimkpa. I'm not very familiar with Abuja. I need just an idea. |
Is this area developed? paved roads? how much does it cost to rent a 3bdrm apartment in this area? |
Hi guys, any idea about cost of building block of 16nos 3 bdrm service apartments in Abuja including cost of land in a good area ( not the likes of maitama, asokoro, garki, etc of course) What of the rate of ROI? ( how much can be made annually by leasing out these apartments?). please advise. |
Hi guys, does anyone know the approximate cost of building a block of 12-16 service apartments in Abuja with cost of land in an average neighborhood? And what is the rate of ROI for such an investment? Just a rough idea please. |
Hi do you have land for sale in PH for residential real estate? Good area and at what price? |
Spyder880. thanx a lot for your help. Before the Enugwu project I have a duplex I'm considering for my remote village. The Architect who planned it gave me an estimate that was so scary I almost forgot about the project. If I sent you the plan can you help me with an initial estimate at current prices? This is in the village, not in Enugwu, though. |
Spyder880 biko I don't know how to start thanking you for all your candid advice. Are u a builder, architect or just an informed citizen? I think I shall need to talk to you when I start looking for land in Enugwu, i.e. of course, if you u wouldn't mind. |
spyder880 my brother you seem to have a good idea about building in nigeria. in your earlier reply to my question you suggested my killing 2 birds with one stone ( building 4 flats and a penthouse on top for my use). That plan sounds very interesting to me considering limited resources available for the project. Please honestly do you have any idea about an approximate cost of such a project without cost of land in say Enugwu? I know you can't be exact as this depends on many factors but I just need a rough idea so I don't go into something I can't finish. please. |
Thank you very much spyder880 for all the info. I'll keep tracking your thread as I have many questions for you. I may contact you by email soon for some more personal questions concerning building in Enugu (or Enugwu as it should be pronounced lol) |
daalu nwa nne m. I'm considering building my residence in a good area of Enugu and probably also having an investment property ( block of flats) for income. At the moment I don't know how to go about this but hope to start concrete plans soon. If you could give an update on your expenses so far and the stage you are with your project, it will help me greatly. |
Hi Spyder880. I'm a new comer to nairaland and happen to hail from the same area as you do. how is your building coming along and how is the price of land in Enugu now? |
