Business / Bet9ja Loses Website by jonathanakanbi1: 10:22pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Bet9ja one of Nigeria’s leading bet companies had its online business hit rock bottom on Tuesday when its domain reportedly got expired. A smart web designer who is reported to have found the domain for sale on GoDaddy purchased it instantly and this led to a shutdown on the highly visited website. A Facebook user Mikhael Nice however posted on his timeline screenshots of what has been the landing page of the website with caption “Bet9ja expired and they didn’t know. Domain went straight to the market, the dude purchased it and instead bet9ja went and registered bet9ja2.” “To cut the long story short, they have now repurchased the domain from the dude, redirecting it to bet9ja2.” “The dude is now a millionaire and the management may be sacked”. However, at the time of filing this report, the website is still down, with a GoDaddy ads on its landing page. News Bet9ja official website is now bet9ja2.com https://hotfrom9ja.com/bet9ja-loses-website/

Politics / It Is Difficult To Know People Until You Give Them A Political Office And Public by jonathanakanbi1: 9:59pm On Nov 15, 2019 |
Former President Goodluck Jonathan has accused Nigerian politicians of undermining the electoral system in Nigeria. Jonathan who spoke in Port Harcourt during the presentation of a book by Gabriel Toby, a former deputy governor of Rivers on Thursday November 14, called for the adoption of electronic system of voting to curb electoral malpractices as he stated that the country would not have deteriorated to this point if people’s votes mattered. He admitted that there is an assumption that every politician is useless but averred that people don’t change when elected into public office. The Bayelsa-born politician insisted that what happens is we vote for people we do not know. He said: “The assumption is that every politician is useless, but the question of whether people change when they are elected into public office is something political analysts, researchers should unravel. Goodluck Jonathan also raised an alarm over the violence that has been recorded in Kogi and Bayelsa state ahead of the governorship election. “ Looking at what is happening now, we will have off-season elections in Bayelsa and Kogi states. https://hotfrom9ja.com/it-is-difficult-to-know-people-until-you-give-them-a-political-office-and-public-funds-to-spend-goodluck-jonathan/
