Hi guys, I am going for interview on Monday, give me an honest general advice pls.

There are some red flag �.. First if you had a BSc, they expect you to go for a MSc not another BSc. Another flag is why will a cousin pay for you to get another BSc when you had one before.. �Thirdly when you're asked to talk about your study plan, it's an opportunity for you to explain what you want to study, why you want to study that course and how that course will help you achieve your goal in life. But your response wasn't convincing enough. I have coached lots of people and prepped them interviews, this and when ever the VO ask this question, he or she is actually ready to listen.

So sorry about your denial. She said you're back, what does that mean? What did you correct? You finished secondary school in 2018, did you put on your DS-160 as the reason why you haven't gone to school? if you finish school in 2018, The interviewer expects your parents should be your sponsor because they need to be sure that you will return home. If your sister stays in the US, then it appears you do not have any home ties. You can try again.

VO:sorry you're not qualified for the US VISA at the moment please do apply later and he gave me green slip

I suspect it's cos of my sponsor
My sponsor and the school are in the same state but different cities

Please what do you guys think is the cause of the denial??

You can check for slots frequently, you will find a closer one.

Don't be discouraged, make sure you are well prepared before applying for emergency

Also, make sure you apply for an emergency with your SEVIS confirmation and your I-20

Kindly revise your transcript and repost it. you can read past transcripts I'm sure you will find information that helps. no one is saying you did something wrong, we are saying there are better ways you could have arranged your response for it to add up.

Kindly go with both of them but you need to present the current one because that is the I-20 that will be on their system when they pull up your record

Please my interview is tomorrow and I just got a new I-20 because I deferred my resumption to spring 2022 due to the interview Date being late than my resumption. Should I go with the old or new I-20

it depends on your start date, if your start date is January 2022, you will not be able to get an original date before then because all dates have been booked. but you can apply for an emergency within 60 days of your school resumption. Please review your transcript based on the corrections made and try again.

First, if your school resumes in January, you can only get an emergency approval if you apply within 60 days of your resumption. Secondly, according to the information on their page, you need to submit a Sevis Fee Confirmation, and your I-20

My school (EIU) starts in January 2022. I applied for an emergency appointment but got denied.
My option is to either apply under Abuja or keep checking at midnight to try my luck to book an appointment.
