These numbers have changed. Kenya should be at 10K dollar millionaires with Nigeria at 15K.South Africa at 45K.

Even though gambling is discouraged by the Kenyan gov't and our gambling industry is the most highly taxed in the continent. A Kenyan can win up to 2.3 million US dollars through betting.I bet Nigeria can't come up with such numbers in such an industry.This just shows you the scale of things between Kenya and Nigeria!

Take the population of this countries into context, then look at the projected growth of the dollar millionaires.Kenya's numbers are pretty good!

Our middle class is stronger than theirs! If they buy less cars have less malls and a less brilliant real estate than ours what does that then tell you? They are regressing - I think at some point they were at highs of 40M metric tonnes production - now it's down to 20M metric tonnes - with consumption at 18M metric tonnes. If the trend continues - they'll soon be at 10M metric tonnes - despite their urbanisation levels nearly twice kenya.
