Iniesta in his prime is a low volume passer, no be today. At no point in his career can you show me passing stats that prove that he was fundamental to Barcelonas possession game.

No..He didnt pass 100 per game like Xavi..Trust me Possesion isnt solely about the number of passes made,Its also about not loosing the ball whenever you are given..Iniesta rarely looses the ball..Like Rarely..Give him the ball and he wont loose it despite been marked by 2-3 players every match...My Brother I've seen you type series of things about Iniesta..I think I saw somewhere you called him a fraud..Now I ask You..Is Iniesta a Fraud or not??

How do you explain the fact that Xavi scored or assisted exactly 50% of Spain's tournament knockout goals, and Iniestas only contribution was being in the right place at the right time vs Holland, and one assist in a whitewash of Russia, yet takes more credit.

I have been stating for the last 5 years that Iniesta had absolutely nothing to do with Barca's famed midfield dominance with his paltry 60 passes per match, and true to word, as soon as Xavi retired, Barca's stifling midfield dominance disappeared like the fart of a leprous witch. They have been blaming it on old age since Iniesta was 30.

In the game against Juve in the 2nd half Iniesta received the ball and was running to the left,no not dribbling just running,trying to shy away from players..trying to get close to Neymar to give the ball to..It was Sad really,I almost cried..No Gomes to pass to,No Mascherano,No rakitic..Maybe its the system,Maybe the system is so bad that the players don't even know what they are to do on the pitch..Maybe they look confused on the pitch..Whatever It is,Iniesta,Messi,Busquets,Pique shouldn't be treated like this...

Gomes thrives playing in DMF role very well..I watched him play for Portugal in that role and he was crisp and Excellent..Comes should be the perfect replacement for Busquets..Not like for like obviously but he would do a very good Job..I dont know what Enrique/Unzue have up their sleeves but I hope I dont have my heart in my mouth all through 90 minutes

True..Pochettino was a central defender in his playing days..So he doesn't really need to learn the art of defending again...That been said Its just an Observation though,I just feel He needs to learn the art of defending more and where better if not in Italy
