Oga since your budget is small I will advise going to oyigbo to rent as a bedroom apartment is 150k. After a while you can move out from there when things are much better for you. Just start small to limit spending because tomorrow you go come say landlord don increase rent after 6 months. Today, I had a firsthand experience of events and stories that I used to hear and watch in Nollywood movies. Given how emotional I am as a person, I have been left sad & devastated on behalf of my good friend who is also a neighbor. Not just a neighbor, but a neighbor next door.
My friend is from Kogi state, he has a girlfriend who is also a kogite. They had known right from sch when they were undergraduate about five years ago. They dated, had issues and parted ways due to lack of loyalty from the babe. After two years of graduation, they resolved their differences and reunited.
While my friend had completed his NYSC and settled in Nassarawa, his estranged lover was in Kogi working as a marketer for a Bank. They kept communicating, and later on, the lady resigned from her job & relocated from Kogi to Nassarawa to live with her female cousin. She came to work, but sadly, she wasn't ready to do anything. While she lived with her cousin, she was always coming to visit her guy. In fact she spent more time at her guy's place than the sister's.
My friend was responsible for everything about this lady. Feeding, partial housing, airtime, date, transportation and every human needs you can imagine. In all these, I knew she wasn't loyal but I didn't want to spoil their relationship. I noticed her lack of loyalty from her phone calls/conversation with a particular guy.
My friend is on permanent night shift at his place of work, so whenever he leaves for work at 5pm to return the next day, the girls sneaks out to where nobody knows and returns late into the night. My friend was oblivious of all these. I didn't see it as my business, so I considered it pointless to inform my friend. Secondly, she was always on the phone with a particular guy. They would speak for hours. I kept wondering why these calls were never made whenever my friend is around, it is when he leaves for work that the calls start. And I was always home to notice all these. I began to get sceptical about her loyalty, I was worried because my friend was committed and extremely loyal to this lady, but I couldn't tell him about his lady's attitude cos I had no clear evidence. You know it's difficult to advise people who are in love.
On October 8th, 2024, she traveled back home to see her parents and on December 5, just a few days ago, pre-wedding pictures had engulfed the social media. She's having her traditional marriage and white wedding on the 20th and 21st of December respectively. She's getting married to another guy, same guy who had been speaking with her on the phone all along. I couldn't believe my eyes when my friend showed me the pictures. This is one of the saddest love stories and experiences I've come across. It's so sad. I sincerely feel for this guy cos he gave his all. He sacrificed so much in that relationship.
Personally, I've been outta relationship for over three years and I don't regret it one bit. I'm still struggling, so relationship is the last thing on my mind, I don't have strength for the drama involved.
People are without conscience.

I've been married for a while now and I have a daughter.

My wife and I has always had issues, anytime issues arise her first reaction is to leave the marriage.

She has said this several time and u cautioned her about the statement because I don't like it ( she's making it seem she's doing me a favor by marrying me)

So I thought about everything and the fact that she continuously accuses me of being a bad husband, and abusive husband ( I've never hit her before) and that she was tired of the marriage.

So I'm thinking of calling her father and collecting the bride price I paid for her because I'm tired of the whole thing
