Hello Everyone

I'm planning to write the CFA level 1 next year. I'm planning to practice for 1 year, and I intend to spend 4 hours everyday for 365 days to get started. However, I really want to spend my time wisely by reading the right books and notes. Part of my motivation for this exam is the fact that it is hard and that I'm passionate about learning more about financial investment. It would be great if anyone can send me all the materials that I need for level 1 to this email: topsquino(at)gmail(dot)com Kindly change the (at) to @ and dot to . I look forward to hearing from receiving files from anyone who can make my studying process seamlessly easy.

This is actually my plan also. Heard of Mark Meldrum and how awesome his video tutorials are. Tho to fully enjoy he's benefits u have to subscribe to him. That's actually what I plan to use for my study. Apparently I know someone who used him exclusively and passed level 1 and 2 and using him for level 3 now. Only Mark Meldrum and practicing past questions of 6 years before exam was what he has been using so far

Hello house! Please I wrote my test in May (About 3 weeks ago) at the Allen office in Lagos and scored above 50% in both the verbal and numerical tests but I've not been scheduled for an interview. Some people that wrote in June have been interviewed. I'm not sure why it's taking so long. Hope they've not forgotten me. Am I alone? Do I need to contact Access Bank's HR? Any help will be appreciated, please.

I don't think anyone that wrote in June has been interviewed, Atleast not Lagos. Cos I wrote June 2nd and I know others like me that haven't been interviewed, i also know of someone that wrote in may like u and hasn't been Interviewed. I don't think you're alone as u think but if it would make u feel any better u can reply the person who invited u for the aptitude test [ just a reminder as you've been unsettled not hearing from them this long hoping you haven't been forgotten ]

Hello house, please pardon my ignorance, but has anyone who wrote the attitude test in ikeja, lagos been invited for interview? Am getting scared oh, this one people that wrote in PH got interviewed the next day and some of us in lagos that have written the attitude test for almost two weeks now but no invite yet.

I think it might take up to 2 weeks before you get called for interview after passing the test. I wrote mine in ikeja on the 2nd of June, and since I didn't have my original waec, the guy told me to make sure I get it within the next 2 weeks. I'm assuming he said that because the Interview would be in about 2 weeks time. I'm still yet to get an email from them yet so maybe my assumption is correct.

Max24:

You are funny, bro. Quoting the bible over a programme that has been banned by several countries including the originating country Rusia or u didn't do ur research about it before jumping in. Even in Nigeria the SEC has advised against it and u are here quoting the bible over a ingenious 419 scheme. How many times have u heard of SEC giving a disclaimer about a company in recent times but in this case they did.

Am happy you asked that last question, now please tell me this, have there been companies in Nigeria I'm the past that will tell you to bring money and they will be giving you profit Bla Bla Bla? I'm sure you know the answer is yes! Did they crash? Am sure you know the answer is yes! Even tho some lasted a few years. This companies were paying Peter from Paul till they eventually ran away but the government never warned against them you know why? Because the government was benefiting! They were paying tax! My guy don't deceive yourself, the Nigerian government doesn't care about you, they only care about their pocket, so you should have asked yourself why this one was so important to them that they don't want it. When the mmm is not even paying them task, and I hope you know that sec regulates sale of shares so they definitely benefit from sale of shares, are u trying to tell me that it's not clear why they don't want mmm? It's not given them tax and people sef will stop buying shares when they are seeing mmm. In a nut shell, the government is not benefiting from mmm. If the government were to be paid tax from mmm you will see they will shut their mouth up. The biggest mistake you will ever make is to think that the government loves you, they only love their pocket!

MMM is a Ponzi Scheme, the type that Bernard Madoff ran in the US that defrauded thousands of Americans to the tune of Billions of dollars over a decade ago. These schemes have been replicated throughout the rest of the world and ignorant investors have lost billions of dollars. They all have similar operation models and they are categorized the same, PONZI SCHEMES.

Mr man don't come here and be giving me details of things that are not MMM. You said MMM had crashed in many countries, sadly you met someone who knew facts, don't give me bullcrap about other schemes, Na only MMM i Sabi. Because those other schemes you're taking of are not MMM. Did they openly tell the world that they are paying Peter from Paul's money like mmm did? Abi they hide that fact as usual and you're calling it the same? Did they not keep their money in one central account and abscond with the money when things were bad? Can mmm do that when your money is even in your account? Bros please if you want to talk or you want to compare stuff, compare stuff with facts and don't just talk because ou want to talk or because you want to sound informed. You clearly don't know nothing about mmm and that's why you think they are the same and I don't even blame you cos I was like you once until I found out just how different they are. In any case, leave us with our risk, we are not complaining even as we know the risk. That's life. It's about risks. There is a risk that somone will spend years going to university and still won't see job, but does that mean they won't go to university? There is a risk that you will do a business, invest so much and it won't pay you and u won't even get your capital back , does it mean you shouldn't do business? Everything in life has its risk and as for MMM it will only crash if we the participants allow it to crash and as u can see we are all strong believers so that stuff ain't crashing anytime soon. If you want to join, join, if you don't want to join no problem, but allow others that are making their cool money hear word

It has crashed in Russia (where this specific one originated from), Europe, US and the rest of the world and they're running to Africa thinking people are less informed. I'm not putting fear, i'm getting people informed so they don't suffer the losses those Millions of people suffered in those countries

Oga please stop telling rubbish lies, if you really want to convince people you might as well do it with facts and not rubbish liea
Please show us any proof from the Internet that it crashed in Europe, US and the rest of the world! Please show us! MMM is currently working actively in 118 countries and you're hear saying crap.
The only problem it had was in Russia when it was closed down in 1994 for tax evasion but people will be shouting that it crashed, it didn't even crash.
Even the talk of it crashing in South Africa this year hasn't had any evidence to prove that claim as people in South Africa haven't confirmed it till date. Even the Zimbabwe own was a pause mode and not a crash, ask anyone in Zimbabwe now it is working. The media just keep trying to scare people for nothing.. All because the government have forced them to. Bro stop spreading lies when you have no evidence to back it up
Business / Re: MMM Nigeria: Ponzi Scheme, Robbing Peter To Pay Paul? TheGuardian by Jonyblaze: 4:25pm On Oct 25, 2016
Some people claim that they are warning against MMM so that if it crashes, people won't lose money. But do you know that if your plan works and people leave now, some people will still lose that same money? MMM has already started, it's amazing and the power of MMM lasting for years and years to come is in the power of we the participants not in anybody else. So my fellow MMM participants don't let anyone scare you that it will crash, because it will only crash if you and I allow it to crash
So Keep providing help, keep getting your bank alerts! and you won't even know when the people criticising you today will quietly join after they have seen people's lives changing

So, it was Jesus that said u should invest in faceless businesses. No know address, no office, no registration with CAC. My friend, stop deceiving people. I still remember my money and that of my friends trapped in similar schemes not long ago. Ever heard of wonder banks, club freedom or getaway club ? Unless maybe u are too young then.

Truth be told, it's only the likes of you that are against MMM that I don't blame.. Because u have had bad experiences on the past with previous organizations or scheme, however, unlike that your experience MMM is totally different. Totally! If you take your time to look into it you would see the clear differences. And please don't come and be talking about known address and CAC registration here because even many of them in the past that failed in Nigeria had known offices and CAC registration yet they failed.. So no be by that one. This one is different and better because it is very transparent (they don't hide that they are paying Peter from Paul, they don't keep all your money in their account it's in your account so u won't say they ran with your money). However, if you know you don't want to participate in MMM that's very OK, but allow others to make their money in peace

@Jonyblaze

You are promoting a scheme that will rip someone off at the end, it does not matter right?

You don't mind that someone, even though it's not you, will lose their money when the scheme finally breaks right?

Friend, I assure you, ill-gotten wealth will come back and spike you in the back.

It's a simple rule of life.

Go to work everyday and find a "true" investment that harms no one.

Anything else, you have blood on your hands.

That's why I said when done with wisdom you will be fine. Incase you don't know, even the founder of MMM warns participants of the risks involved! That just shows you that it's transparent (for them to even warn you of the risk involved) and that's why they advice you to put in money you know you are willing to spare. My brother it doesn't get more transparent than that.
Don't mistake MMM with previous stuffs that turned out to be scam you know why? Cos here MMM is clearly telling you am paying Peter from Paul's money (others were not telling u) MMM is telling you the risk involved and advising you to participate with spare money (others didn't tell u) MMM is not keeping your money in a central account it's in your very own account so you won't say they ran away with our money. Lol do I need to keep going to explain to u how transparent this thing is?
The point is participate in MMM but use wisdom (follow the rules for safe participation and be saving.. and if u do this you're good) . It's that Simple!

Poverty is a disease but also a result of laziness.

You want fast money.

You don't want to till before you harvest.

You will remain in poverty your whole life.

Let's see what you do with the "Mavro" you get.

A word is enough for the wise.

What people do with the money they get from MMM is really not your concern, because that one is a matter of personal behaviour. Whether you know it or not there are people who work very hard for their money and still waste it
Making money In life is not always about hard work whether u belive it or not, sometimes it's about seeing a good opportunity and grabing that opportunity and MMM is a huge opportunity for everyone. It's only a matter of using the opportunity well and with sence
When I started mmm I didn't even have up to 300k in my account, today I'm a millionare and I won't go back to where I came from because I am using my sence while doing it. Everything is about grabing opportunities and doing it with sence. I know how much I've been able to help my family financially this year and everytime I do I just thank God for MMM because I don't know what would have been the story if not for it
No one knows when MMM will be history, but I know this, if you do it with wisdom, whenever it goes, you would still have benefited much much much more than any loss because I can assure you that MMM will still be there for years so it's a matter of using it wisely while it's there.
If you're not fine with doing MMM that's very OK but allow others to make their cool millions in peace.
Besides everything in life is a risk, the University you went to is a risk (some people don't have jobs today) the business you're doing too is a risk (it may not pay u) but still all this things are risks that are worth it aren't they? Well so is MMM! My bank account is proof!
Participate in MMM but do it with wisdom!

Career / Re: ICAN November 2023 Diet Exam - Let's Meet Here by Jonyblaze: 7:43pm On Oct 05, 2016
UjSizzle:

Password is relatively newer than the rest so I can't vouch for them.
I tried Wyse first for Foundation, then switched to Riskfree (both are in Obanikoro) afterwards.
Personally I preferred Riskfree to Wyse because of the additional benefits you get with them. Also the lecturers maintain a close relationship with the students, so slow learners are easily carried along in class.
The environment is cool and comfortable (Air conditioned classrooms) and you can pay your fees in instalments.

Wyse has the benefit of popularity, but aside that, I couldn't find another reason to stay with them.

What you need to remember is that most of the tuition centres around Ikorodu road recycle lecturers ie btwn Wyse, PYE, Riskfree, Legacy, Safe and Password. So aside the calibre of teachers, you should consider other factors.

I really appreciate your input. Thank you so much. This has been really helpful. Thanks again

Hi guys, I know this question may not be very relevant now because you can't possibly join a tutorial centre now.. It would have to be next year for those taking may diet of next year. However, please I would like to know, for those who have been to tutorial centres in preparation for the Nov diet, please what tutorial centre would you recommend in Lagos? Wyse? Password? My place of residence is not an issue because I intend to move into a new apartment in Jan, so I could factor this into where I would get a place. Thanks In advance
