In this post, I’ll walk you through the steps involved in the Dufil Prima Foods Graduate Trainee Program based on my personal experience.

Step 1: Application Form
The process begins with filling out an application form. The company sends out announcements inviting graduates who meet their requirements to apply. To stay updated, you can subscribe to Jobregion email alerts.

Step 2: Online Test
Once your application is successful, you’ll receive an email inviting you to take an online test. The test covers:

*Numerical Analysis

*Verbal Reasoning

*Logical Reasoning

Step 3: Dufil Prima Foods Written Interview
After passing the online test, you will receive an invitation for a "written interview," which is actually another test — not a typical interview. It consists of questions related to:

* The company

* The Nigerian economy

* Some technical questions

I was expecting oral interview questions but was surprised when I saw it was another written test lasting about an hour.
Here are a few questions I remember:

* List and explain the five stages in a Six Sigma project, highlighting key activities at each stage.

* List the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria and mention three states in each.

* What is the current inflation rate in Nigeria?

* You are joining a team that is underperforming and consistently missing weekly targets. How would you assess the situation and work towards improving their efficiency?


Step 4: Oral Interview
If you successfully pass the written test, you’ll be shortlisted for an oral interview. The details (date and location) will be sent to you.
During this stage, typical interview questions include:

Tell us about yourself.

Why did you apply for this Graduate Trainee Program?

Why Dufil Prima Foods?


Be sure to come along with your CV and a passport photograph.

Step 5: Final Interview with the COO
If you make it through the oral interview, you may be invited for a final interview with the Chief Operating Officer (COO). (Note: I'm not sure if this stage is still part of the current process.)

Step 6: Offer of Employment
Finally, if you are successful, you’ll receive a congratulatory email offering you the role.

It was an Excel based question. I was asked to provide my answers using the appropriate excel formulas. A column to calculate percentages, another column for number of terms (dunno the right word to use). It’s just purely based on your skill on excel.

4. What's your greatest strength
5. Have you ever been tasked with multiple tasks? How did you handle it?
6. As a team lead, how can you communicate with people across different departments?

I tried uploading my SSCE grades and they declined it saying the minimum subject is 1 and the maximum is 1.
