My company who is into Haulage and Logistics with over 1000 trucks in the distribution of food throughout the nation needs the service of Fleet Supervisors.

Job Description

1. Ensure safe and reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements.
2. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
3. Determines day to day maintenance and repair priorities, both scheduled and unscheduled, to ensure most efficient use of time and resources.
4. Managing day-to-day fleet operation activities
5. Managing vehicle allocation
6. Supervising driver team ensuring working planning, training and HSE standards.
7. Managing documents for all vehicle under your supervision
8. Taking daily attendance of drivers under your supervision
9. Constant communication with driver on trip
10. Any other assignment assigned by the Fleet Operations Manager

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
• Minimum SSCE, OND would be an advantage.
• Driving license, off road knowledge and logistics knowledge.
• Extensive people management experience.
Technical Competencies and Skills
• The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of compliance and risk management.
• Strong understanding of safety culture and management.
• Well-developed problem solving and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to spend significant amounts of time in field camps.
