What I know is that 'before before' in Nigeria, Teachers were well respected, I saw that in my village and my growing years and Teachers are well cared for by the Community where they serve, in fact most of the community and commitees for development are filled by Teachers ..... but gradually things started to change in the '80s and got worse to where we are now!
