I've had this same experience two years ago. I sewed a new native attire and wore it just once to an occasion. Called a friend of mine(who actually said he'd love me to gift him the dress) and handed the native attire to him since he doesn't have much clothes. Could you imagine the guy wore the clothes to the farm after three days of gifting him those clothes.
I confronted him ASAP and gave him a piece of my mind,then walked away. Since then he's been apologizing. I told him I will never give anything to him again. I no dey take gift wey person give me cari play no matter how small.
