Have you seen how you suffered heavy blackouts because of power disruptions due to cyclone Idai in Mozambique? Should Mozambique halt their power supply to SA? You recently opt for diesel powered generators to ease the situation.

We pay Mozambicans handsomely for every kilowatt they sell to us! They aren't doing us any favours! If they decide to halt supply, we'll take our money elsewhere! Listen, as long as we aren't borrowing money from Tanzania to buy the diesel, or worse; fleeing to your country because our govt's failures, I don't see why you should be bothered!

I jforgive u Xhosa gal for not knowing your history. Its sad you can't know how SADC was formed years before SA got her independence. SADC started as a liberation movement which was called Frontline states.Tanzania was a founding member together with Zambia. It later changed and be called SADC.South Africa applied to join SADC after 94. SADC of now, its main purpose is to cooperate members on security and economic affairs.

Tanzania is in East Africa geographically. In foreign policy, we are both in SADC and East African community

Everybody knows the people of the Eastern Cape played a major role in the liberation movement. The likes of Robert Sobukwe, Steve Biko, Chris Hani, Govan Mbeki, Walter Sisulu, Oliver Tambo etc are all sons of the Eastern Cape. Anyone that wants to argue that, can go argue with their ancestors

They all played a role in the movement PIONEERED by others. And that's what I was talking about.

How much wealth precisely are we talking about because SA had a lot of wealth by African standards as at '94. Am talking about wealth from manufacturing, agriculture and food processing, and minerals. Unless you prove me wrong, no country in Africa, at independence, had so much wealth to inherit and start with.

Does being a former nuclear power come with economic benefits?

I know SA of 94 as a bankrupt country drowning in debts worth billions. But if you, in far away Kenya claim we inherited a lot of wealth, and from which sectors, then I won't argue cause you guys know our country's past, present and future like you know yourselves.
