eph12: This is how I would advice my younger ones; Pray you're posted to the north, or work it there, especially troubled areas. After camping you would be allowed to redeploy to any state of your choice. On getting to the state of your choice, go search for PPA yourself. If you see a place you like, get a letter of acceptance from the company and take it to the NYSC Secretariat of that state. They'll then issue you a new posting letter with your chosen PPA in it. Dazzal.

can't serve in Osun tired of travelling 2 d west,I tink i need 2 change my environment,i skuled in ondo state not far 4rm Osun.

Gooci: look at yu.. so nysc will giv yu job abi

yu will only giv yu normal state alawee(5k). plus wat nysc will not gv yu(free food, free accommodation, "free freedom " and we will both enjoy. thats all.
after completing yur nysc, we will assess whether to get yu a job, this depends on how well yu served us

Based on wat u said.. Lagos, delta, rivers, abuja, come to mind
Now there are other factors to consider here. Eg cost of living
Abuja and rivers are costly except u have people there.... Lagos is a lil costly and stressful.. Except you have people... Delta not too costly

Dunno bout other states...

yorex2011: Vague.. Nigeria doesn't have a "best" state.. People work postings for differ reasons eg want to be close to home, have a job already, States with high allowances, state with low cost of living, states with many job opportunities. Etc... You shud have a reason.. The reason can then help you make a good choice.
