At 14 you were still a child supposed to be climbing trees, playing football etc. Your words were not what killed your father though they might have caused him deep pain. It is now time to forgive yourself and be the man that your father would have loved you to grow up to be. By keeping yourself bound up in pain and regret you are only damaging your life. |
This is what worked for me in alleviating my menstrual pain: fresh aloe vera gel. I'm forever grateful to my Cameroonian friends for teaching me this natural remedy. I was amazed at the results. Just get one or two aloe vera leaves and scrape out the gel into a glass of warm or tepid water and drink. Repeat as often as necessary. |
auntie mama: Please do not spoil the name of a reputable company. you people should stop spreading rumors. the company is very big and makes wonderful products which brings joy to millions everyday.I agree with everything you've said except the part about spoiling the name of a reputable company. That has never been the idea behind this post. Its not really their fault anyway. If NAFDAC and SON were to actually do the job they are meant to do, they would ensure that consumables are prepared and packaged properly. As a mother of young children who love caprisonne, I'm just very worried that there might be a lot of contaminated caprisonne in circulation that could end up making lots of children sick. That's all! |
mrsincredible: hw are yu new? since 2012I opened an account in 2012 but I have never posted anything - not even a comment until this particular post. I hope that explains it. |
Vivly: Postinor 2 is already very strong and, it is not a contraceptive.Tubal ligation That means surgically having the fallopian tubes tied and its generally considered to be a permanent method of birth control!!! There is a procedure for reversing it but without a high success rate because the fallopian tubes are very delicate. The poster is still a young lady who probably hopes to have children some day so tubal ligation is not for her. |
girlinmask: . Why iS it the onLy contreceptive solD at a lot of pharmacy and I think I feel very awkward going to the doctors to discuss contraceptive so I usually end up at a counter to purchase postinor 2.Sweetie, how can you be talking about feeling awkward?! Do you have any idea what you might be doing to your health? Please dear, since you have taken that decision to be "getting busy" with your boyfriend you should realise that a lot of responsibility comes with it. And that is one of the reasons why intercourse is best reserved for marriage. You are having unprotected intercourse and I hope you realise that getting pregnant might be the least of your problems? Liberty without responsibility is dangerous. At least you have access to the internet, so google, "safe s*x" or "contraception" and you will find out that you really have a lot to learn. And by the way, a woman cannot afford to be feeling awkward with doctors o! By God's grace, you will eventually marry and get pregnant and then you will see what women see during ante-natal and childbirth! |
The mistake you are making is thinking that Postinor is a contraceptive. It is NOT. It is an emergency drug meant to be taken when a contraceptive is not used and should never be regularly used. A contraceptive is a drug or device that prevents conception from taking place and it is taken (swallowed or injected) or put in place BEFORE intercourse. You should go and thank the pharmacist for being more concerned about you than about 'selling market'. I know some other people might just have been mocking your ignorance and will never say a word. Please, consult a doctor before you damage your health irreparably. Even a primary health care centre will guide you aright. |
Last picture. I'm sorry for the huge size. If someone can help to re-size, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello people, Below is an email I received yesterday from a friend who works in the same office as the person whose daughter fell really sick after drinking the contaminated fruit juice. Seeing is believing! This is not the first time it will happen. About 4 months ago, a concerned mother posted pictures on Facebook of Caprisonne containing a slimy green substance which she had been lucky to see before her son consumed it. There was an uproar then on Facebook with people promising thunder and brimstone but we have no idea what steps were actually taken. This time around, I'm aware that NAFDAC has been contacted and they've requested for a formal complaint. In the meantime, please closely monitor what your children consume. And bear in mind that the manufacturers of Caprisonne make a whole range of products including juice for adults (which almost always give me an upset tummy). I have not intention of running anyone down or killing anyone's business but we should insist on globally acceptable standards and protect ourselves and our children. I'm new to Nairaland and not a very techie person so I'm not sure how to upload pictures but I will try. Peace! THE EMAIL: Two Sundays ago, my second child was ill and taken to the hospital for treatment, she stayed home during the week afterwards to properly recover. Last Friday, she asked for one of the packet juice Capri Sonne we had at home purchased from a Major supermarket (please note that this shop has huge customer base so no risk of stock having overstayed). On taking the juice, she started to complain of tummy ache and almost immediately started to vomit without finishing the drink. My nanny took the packet away from her and noticed some black stuff on the straw and proceeded to cut open the packet. Her observation was that the juice appeared whitish with an off look from what the juice should normally look like. We immediately kept the remaining packets left in the carton away and as soon as I got home from work yesterday, proceeded to cut open all the rest left in the carton, the attached pictures tell the rest of the story. Bottom line for me is are the following: · with immediate effect no more packet juice for my kids, water and fruits to school is just fine along with their lunch. · Checking expiry date is no longer a guarantee of safe food any longer, the carton and each individual packs had June 2014 as the expiry date Please let us pay more attention to what our kids eat and drink either imported or made in Nigeria, let us send messages to their school either via text message to their class teachers or via their home work diaries to instruct what and what not should be given to our kids in school because this particular drink became a favourite for my kids due to party pack from school etc, because if we don’t things that we don’t normally give to our kids may be shared at school for them to consume. My daughter is fine now, the vomiting stopped Friday night and we all went back to the hospital for further review the following Saturday. It could have been worse but for God!!!
