Op, Falana's argument is straight forward enough. What problem exactly do you have with it?

Something is just not right , and I don't trust Jona at all!
Get no problem with his words....only that I tried to bring out the likelyy fear of the coup....which I believe it can't happen

APC should not fall for this trick, Jonathan must finish his term and handover as at when due.

Anything can happen within the hours of the vacuum, it is unlawful to handover in a dinner gathering, I don't know what Jonathan takes Nigerians for? He should be calm, what's left for him now is not up to the time he has used in the Villa!

We Don't want Abiola scenario to repeat itself!!!!
I believe nothing will happen
PoliticsPresident Jonathan Re-scheduled Handover Date, My Take: by joysquare16(op): 8:36pm On Apr 16, 2015
PRESIDENT JONATHAN RE-SCHEDULED HANDOVER DATE, MY TAKE:

In recent times,if we can still remember vividly, our able commander in chief of the armed forces: President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan imbibed a new culture of accepting and perfecting things in time,....Chief among them is the concession of defeat in the recently concluded presidential elections by calling the president elect at exactly 17:15pm (+ or -1) to congratulate him and also conceded defeat even when the results of two or more states were still pending.

This gallant move accrues more accolades to Mr. President from Nigerians and international body aswell, which according to them helped immensely to douse the percieved tension in the nation at that moment in time, and APC as a virile opposition party applauded the bold step taken by him "Jonathan"

As if that was not enough,at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on wednesday 15th of April,2015., Mr. President made another giant stride, that he would handover power to the president elect "Major General Mahammadu Buhari retired on the 28th of May, 2015. at the dinner event which will be some hours to the supposed 29th of May, 2015.

By the reason of this decision made by Mr. President,a lot of actions have greeted it and among them is the one made by an erudite Ekiti born - Lagos lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) faulting the decission with his reasons being that its unconstitutional and condemned it that,it will bring a vacuum of some reasonable hours into the govarnance, and he concluded that, with such vacuum, something drastic might befall the nation.

I see one or two salient points in his thought, but be that as it may, if you asked me, apart from the fact that Femi Falana (SAN) is a respected lawyer, and human rights activist that is well known, I will also say he is "APC loyalist"......that is my own opinion anyway.

Bact to the point, haven't heard Femi Falana's side of the story,I come to a conclusion that APC gladiators and their sympathizers didn't see the good side of Mr. President decision to handover power before the deal-day, the way they saw and celebrated his "Jonathan" concession call even before the total result was announced by the electoral umpire.

The Question is;
Are APC "Big weights" and their followers afraid of the unknown "such as coup" which they might be thinking could happen within the hours of their so perceived "power vacuum" after Mr. President might have handed over powerhuh

I pray such will never happen again in our Land.

JUNE 21,2014 ELECTIONS IN EKITI STATE AND THE ABUSE THAT GREETED IT:

I feel so frightened, uncomfortable and a bit ashamed as Ekiti man anytime I heard majority of people who do not know where Ekiti map falls among the states of Nigeria, let alone being to the fountain of knowledge sentimentally insult, abuse the good people of Ekiti state on the choice made about whom to lead them.....by liken the success recorded by the incumbent Governor to the "money and rice" being shared during the gubernatorial elections which resulted into unprintable names emanated from "stomach infrastructure" all in the name of regional and political diffferences.

Asides the fact that sharing of materials including food items and money have eaten deep into the politics of this nation,it'll be kind enough to note that this is not synonymous to Ekiti politics alone. I believe being benevolent is part of the incumbent Gov. and that shouldn't be taken for a ride....as in 2003,when the then incumbent Governor Niyi Adebayo was busy sharing tank-water,Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose shared kerosene instead then......and if you asked me,this kind gesture really endeared him into people's heart then and also helped him to consolidate the victory he recorded over the "Mr. Zero allocation" former Gov. Adeniyi Adebayo.

Come to the last Guber race, all Ekiti indigenes know that majority of the political parties,if not all...including (APC,PDP and LP) shared money and rice among otther things.....how come it was when the "self acclaimed Obama friend" and "Mr. Know-all" of Ekiti land, former Gov. Kayode Fayemi lost an election that the story of "stomach infrastructure" went viralhuh Just to reduce the stigma that could follow being disgraced with votes out of government house.... I think,it was unfair on Fayemi and APC's part to tag good people of Ekiti State with such a name.

The questions are;
Is it a SIN for Ekiti people to vote in a candidate of their chioce??
Is it a must for APC to rule Ekiti State??

I believe if Fayemi had done well to the people of Ekiti,it will be so hard if not impossible for a sitting Governor to be booted out of office in all the 16 local government areas of the state without even winning anyone, including his own L.G.A.

My take is that....Fayemi should as a matter of urgency be called to apologize to the good people of Ekiti for calling them names because he lost re-election into power.

MY ADVISE TO FAYOSE
I know many people love you and God also loves you. In as much I want you to remain as our Governor,I will love if you can caution your tongue Sir,His excellency, you are too garrullous....enough of these mumbo jumbo!!!
Must you contribute to any subject matter that is trending on the newspaper??
Must you make your view known on any discussion that you are not called to contribute??
Must you make your feelings and stand known on any misunderstanding that eschew among the people without seeking your opinion(s)huh
If you do not change Sir,you will continue creating more unsolicited enemies for yourself.

I congratulate Ekiti people on the victory at the supreme court today and His excellency Sir..... Wish you well in your tenure in office.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Ride on His excellency.
Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Massive Celebration In Ado Ekiti by joysquare16(m): 5:44pm On Apr 14, 2015
Anybody that tags this man as a thug will never know good in his life.

Why the trouble, why the message of hate all the time against this man??

All the political parties in Ekit then shared both money and rice, and I believe its not peculiar to Ekiti State alone.

I voted for him,and I didn't collect money neither did they give me rice.....sowhy the insults against the good people of Ekiti because we voted in someone we lovehuh

If Fayemi had done so well,no amount of money being given to electorates will be enough to vote him out of power in all the 16local government areas in the state, and also the same defeat repeted off recent.

PEACE will be far from anyone abusing Ekiti people for voting for FAYOSE!!!

Enough is enough.

Infact in my life av never seen governor so hated like Ajimobi before nd he still won. am in oyo town right now and everywhere looks like ghost camp. Ogbomoso is worse. what baffles me is dat everywhere we were hearing he was losing, he ended up winning dem all. dat mathematics is beyond my comprehension.
Leave these APC supporters alone....all what they want is for this country to be controlled by their party "just like that". If it were PDP that won, they will be shouting rigging, and their party chieftains will not even congratulate the PDP winner, while PDP do otherwise,APC lacks matureity, and I don't know what else they want affter securing the federal seat.

All fingers crossed watching their self acclaimed CHANGE.
